Three weeks later..

It was Daloni's official release date and everyone was really excited. Being that it was only 10AM, Daloni was still sleeping, unaware that he was about to be waken up.

"Heaven, Doctor Grey said that we have to get some blood before he goes." Jayda told her putting the gloves on.

"Jay he just gave a pint the day before yesterday." Heaven sighed, shaking her head. She knew Daloni was going to have a fit times two when he had to be pricked with a needle again.

"I know babe, but Grey need to check his iron and calcium." Jayda replied.

Ever since the adoption day, Heaven was taken off of Daloni's case. She could no longer be his nurse because of their relationship. It was to risky and against hospital guidelines.

"Okay." Heaven nodded, typing her patient's new vitals into the computer. She had been at work for a couple of hours but she would be getting off when Daloni was discharged.

Jayda went into Daloni's room seeing him sleeping peacefully. The IV in his arm was now empty and he was finally hydrated enough to be without it. Jayda knew it was about to be complete chaos waking Daloni up with a needle, but it was easier than doing it while he was awake.

"Daloni, time to wake up." Jayda whispered bending down into his ear.

She then started prepping the needles and tubes for the tests. Daloni started stirring in his sleep, unprepared for the pain he was about to endure.

"Loni, wake up." Jayda said, rubbing his slight grown back curls.

Daloni had lost all of his hair from the cancer and the treatments, but it was slowly growing back. His hair was growing back very silky.

His eyes fluttered open adjusting to the light. When he saw Jayda he stared at her with a straight face.

Jayda discretely cleaned his arm with a wipe and then threw it in the trash bin. Daloni's eyes closed shut, and as soon as they did Jayda stuck the needle in his arm, popping his eyes back open.

"No!" Daloni yelled, squirming around.

"HEAVEN!" Jayda yelled, trying to hold Daloni with the needle still in him.

Heaven ran in the room and when she saw Jayda's struggle she quickly went to assist. "Wait papa, it's okay." She said, holding him down.

"No mommy!" Daloni cried, trying his best to get out of her hold.

Jayda hooked the tubes to the needle allowing them to quickly fill with his blood. She made sure to do the task expeditiously so Daloni could calm down.

"Done." She said, removing the elastic band from around his arm. Quickly wrapping his arm, she threw the needle in the disposable bin and left the room.

"Mean." Daloni cried, pointing at Jayda.

"Want me to beat her up?" Heaven asked, sitting on the bed with him in her lap.

Daloni nodded his head and wiped his face. He moved her shirt to the side and got comfortable in her arms. His lips attached to her nipple, sucking the milk out of her.

"Papa I'm at work." Heaven chuckled, throwing a blanket over him. Daloni stared in her eyes, not caring about anything she had just said.

"You ready to go home?" She asked, wiping tears from the creases of his eyes. He ignored her and kept drinking the milk like his life depended on it.

Around ten minutes later Daloni was done and fully awake. Heaven had just got done helping him brush his teeth and wipe his face.

"Is somebody ready to go home?" Doctor Grey asked, filling his hands with sanitizer as he walked in Daloni's room.

Daloni rolled his eyes at his doctor and walked to his trucks that were scattered on the floor.

"He's so mean." Doctor Grey chuckled, logging into the computer to pull up Daloni's file.

"No he not, he just not interested in what you're saying." Heaven replied, with a shrug of shoulders.

"Yeah yeah. So you know he comes back every Friday for treatments. You're already aware of all of his medicines. Because we used to give them through IV, I suggest you either put it in apple sauce or whatever he's drinking." Doctor Grey explained.

"Jayda said you were checking his iron and calcium, should I be worried?" Heaven asked.

"Not right now, it was just extra tests I wanted done to check his levels. I'll call you with the results."

"Daloni, can you come sit down for me?"

He ignored Doctor Grey mainly because he didn't feel like comprehending the sentence. Whenever he didn't know what someone said, he would just tune them out.

"Papa come here." Heaven waved over. He dropped his trucks and walked over to his mom while his legs bow-legged out.

Doctor Grey only chuckled and started checking Daloni's reflexes in his legs and arms. He then went to checking his lungs and breath sounds.

"What hurts papa?" Heaven asked.

"No hurt." Daloni said shaking his head. This was his way of telling them, he wasn't hurting.

"Okay, well everything sounds fine. I'll get the nurses to get him discharged and then he's free to go. Congratulations little man." Doctor Grey said, ruffling his little curls.

"Stop!" Daloni yelled, pushing the doctor's hand away.

"Pider Man!" Daloni yelled, running around his new room. They had just arrived at Heaven's new house and she was now showing him his room. Of course it was Spider Man themed.

"Pider Man!" He giggled, rolling over the floor.

Heaven smiled and joined him on the floor. "Ou look papa, look at the sky!" She said pointing at the ceilings that she had done.

"Pider Man again!" He yelled, throwing his hands in the air. Daloni was showing so much excitement.

"Look at the treehouse." Heaven gasped, picking him off the floor. She had gotten a fake treehouse in his room that had a connected slide and fireman pole. The pole was closed off until Daloni knew how to use it.

"Mine?" He asked.

"All yours." Heaven smiled, helping him climb the ladder.

She had gotten the walls painted into a Spider Man mural. He only had a twin sized bed because he was still small, and he would mostly not use it. He had more new toys and a learning center.

Watching him slide down the slide with giggles, a small tear escaped her eyes. She was so glad that he was liking his room. She wanted it to his safe place, and from the looks of it, it was.

Heaven sighed as she carried a sleeping Daloni into the restaurant. She tried to get him to stay awake but after he was nursed he fell right to sleep. She only hoped that he would wake up when it was time to eat.

Daloni was released from the hospital a week ago. Being that he was cooped up in the same four walls for a while he had to adapt to the real world again. He had to wear a mask everywhere he went just so that the contaminated air wouldn't fight his immune system.

"Do you have a reservation?" The hostess asked.

"Yea I see them over there." Heaven nodded.

She walked to the booth where Nevaeh and Zylin sat and greeted them. Nevaeh was coloring her menu while Zylin skimmed over the menu.

"Heaven! Um wake him up." Nevaeh smiled.

"You can try but he's gone be mad at you." Heaven chuckled sitting in the middle of Nevaeh of Zylin. They always preferred round booths over tables.

"You look beautiful." Zylin said turning her face and placing a kiss on her lips.

"Thank you. You look handsome." Heaven said, in between the kisses.

"Daloni wake up, I gotta show you some." Nevaeh whined, trying to shake Daloni awake.

Daloni pushed Nevaeh's hand away and opened his eyes. "No vae!" He yelled. Nevaeh crossed her arms and turned her body away from Daloni.

"Papa be nice, say sorry." Heaven frowned.

"Sorry." Daloni said grabbing Nevaeh's shoulder roughly. Daloni did everything roughly. Heaven was working on him being more nicer, but it was coming along very slowly.

"It's okay. Look I made you a charm bracelet at school." Nevaeh said going in her purse, pulling out the blue stringed charm bracelet that she made for Daloni. She had a matching one, but hers was pink.

"Boo?" Daloni asked getting out of Heaven's lap and sitting next to Nevaeh.

"Why the fuck this bitch staring at you like she don't see me right here?" Heaven chuckled recognizing one of Diamond's sister across from them.

Zylin looked up and saw the girl staring at him. He chuckled and shook his head. "You know I'm not stun her mama." He said.

"Boo bitch!" Heaven bucked at the girl making the glasses on the table shake.

"Damn mama chill." Zylin laughed. He grabbed her face and kissed her deeply. Heaven held up the middle-finger at the girl while she kissed him back.

"Stop letting these bitches get to you." He said, placing his hand on her thigh.

"Hey, I'll be your waitress for tonight, can I get you guys started with any appetizers or cocktails?"

"I'll take the boom boom shrimp with the cauliflower mashed potatoes." Heaven said, reading the menu of appetizers.

"I'll get the lamb chops with the brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes, what li man be eating?" Zylin turned to ask Heaven.

"Papa what you want to eat?" Heaven asked, pushing the menu in front of Daloni. Daloni stared at it and then ignored her playing with his bracelet.

"Just bring him some chicken tenders and fries. Vaeh what you eating?"

"I want pizza." Nevaeh replied. Every restaurant she went to she expected to get pizza. Pizza was her favorite. Specifically sausage.

"Babe they don't have pizza." Heaven frowned.

"Well I want hot dogs."

Zylin smacked his lips. "She'll get the chicken tenders with mashed potatoes and fries." He told the waitress. Nevaeh was always the difficult person to order.

"Your results came in, did mines?" Heaven asked.

"Yup." Zylin smirked, sipping from his Sweet Tea.

Zylin and Heaven agreed to get tested for any diseases before they had intercourse. They had their results sent to each other's home addresses so they could see the results for themselves. Neither one had a problem with getting tested, they felt very responsible.

"Excuse me ma'am, so we're currently out of the shrimp, would you like to substitute with no charge?" Their waitress asked.

"I'll just get the grilled salmon." Heaven nodded.

"Excuse me, um my brother needs crayons and a paper too." Nevaeh said, pointing at Daloni.

Heaven and Zylin chuckled and shook their head, while the waitress nodded and went to fulfill Nevaeh's request.

"Move Vae, mine!" Daloni yelled, trying to get the crayons back from her.

"No look papa there go yours." Nevaeh pointed at the waitress. Heaven's nickname grew on Nevaeh, and sometimes she would call Daloni papa.

Daloni calmed down seeing his own set of crayons and paper being sat in front of him.

"You mines tonight." Zylin smirked in Heaven's ear, running his hand up her thigh.

She gasped and caught his hand. "You playing a dangerous game." She whispered in his ear, licking behind his ear and then kissing the spot.

Zylin shuttered and cleared his throat. Heaven had found his hot spot, and he knew she would use it to her advantage. He slightly smirked at the things he was gone do to her when the kids fell asleep. Heaven had awoken a beast.
