《Heaven Warrior》fifteen

It was a little past ten at night and Heaven was just getting in. She spent the whole day getting her nails done, a full body wax, her hair freshly washed and ended the day spending some time with Daloni.
She wasn't as tired as she used to but she definitely could go for a warm bubble bath. Making her way up the elevator she messaged Jayda back about Daloni's new physical therapy schedule.
She was so busy in her phone that she didn't even notice the staircase door opening with Malachi dressed in all black and a small bookbag on his back.
As Heaven unlocked the door she quickly went in and as she went to close it Malachi stopped her by putting his black boot in the way. He smirked at Heaven while her face flashed with fear.
Malachi tried to push the door back but Heaven had tried to push the door close with all of her power. You could hear Malachi's grunts and Heaven screams for help.
In a quick instant Joe barged her whole door open making Heaven fall to the floor. Malachi closed the door behind him and grinned at Heaven attempting to crawl to her room.
He quickly ran and picked her up throwing her on the couch. "You been trying to play hard to get, you know you want this." He grunted holding Heaven's arms down as she kicked and screamed.
Joe stood in the kitchen looking in her refrigerator seeing nothing but water bottles and left over shrimp and cauliflower casserole. He groaned and closed it back.
"GET OFF OF ME!" Heaven screamed. Her face was past red and her veins were popping out of her forehead and neck. She was scared and betrayed.
Malachi tried to bend down and kiss Heaven but failed miserably when Heaven used her leg to kick him in the crouch area. Falling over, Heaven scrambled up and tried to run to the kitchen to grab her biggest knife.
"Looking for this?" Joe asked, holding the knife in his hand, as he bit into a apple. They both knew that she would try to go for a weapon which is why it was Joe's job to hide them all.
Malachi came up behind Heaven and started choking her from the back. "You keep upsetting me, that's not nice Bambii. We supposed to be a happy couple by now." He said as Heaven's arms tried to reach up and swing on him.
Joe could tell that she was putting up a fight. He figured she would.
"Don't you want to be my wife? Huh? Why you don't want to be with me Bambii? I love you!" Malachi cried, holding Heaven's neck tighter.
Her breathing started to get caught in her throat as her arms slowly started to stop. Tears were streaming down her face as she tried her best to think of a plan.
As if God was on her side there was loud knock on Heaven's door. Joe and Malachi looked at each other. They had knew Heaven's schedule and being that Zylin was out of town they couldn't think of anybody else to be coming over at night.
"Chicago Police! Open up!" The two police officers banged on the door. Someone had called and complained about yelling and shuffling and was called to Heaven's penthouse.
Joe gave Heaven a death glare signaling her to be silent. Heaven watched Joe walk to her door and as soon as he opened it she screamed to the top of her lungs.

The police officers immediately bombrushed Joe and into the penthouse to see Malachi choking Heaven even tighter. They drew their guns and demanded him to release her.
"Let the girl go!" One said, aiming his gun right at Malachi's forehead. He had a clean shot, but he didn't feel like killing anyone tonight.
"We supposed to be a couple." Malachi cried, shaking his head."I was gone propose to her tonight." He added on, throwing Heaven to the side making her hit her head on the refrigerator.
"Walk forward with your hands in the air." The police officer demanded, slowly walking to a delusional Malachi. He knew Malachi because he had saw him in court before.
Malachi cried as he got on the ground with his hands to the side. Joe attempted to run out of the penthouse but failed when he fell over his ankles. Both police officers cuffed the men and sat them outside of Heaven's door.
"Ma'am, are you okay?"
Heaven coughed harshly on the floor trying to get her breathing under control. It wasn't working, being that she was scared out of her mind and weak.
"Ma'am do you need an ambulance?" The officer asked, bending down to Heaven's aid. She shook her head and pointed to the door.
"Take them away." Heaven rasped out, holding her chest as it squeezed tighter and tighter.
"Well we'll need you to fill out a report. I suggest you find somewhere else to stay for a while." The officer stated, feeling bad for her. The break-ins around town were getting worse and worse.
"C-Can I bring it to the station tomorrow?" Heaven asked, followed by a harsh cough. She didn't have the energy to fill out a report. She wanted them dead.
"Yes ma'am. I'll leave my card. I already signed and dated it. Just fill it out to the best of your ability." He replied, sitting the paper on the floor next to her with a pen. Usually victims had to fill a report out at the present time but he felt bad so he'd give her some time.
When the police officers left with Malachi and Joe, Heaven muscled all of her strength to stand up and look for her phone. Seeing it near her bedroom door, she ran to it and immediately unlocked it with her face.
"Please pick up." She cried, calling Zylin's number.
Zylin was in Atlanta just finishing Gucci's arm piece. In fact, he was about to go to the studio with Gucci to hear some of his unreleased music.
"Please." Heaven cried, as the phone got to the second ring.
Zylin finally picked up on the third ring. "Wassup mama, I just got to my phone." He said, with a small smile on his end of the phone. Everytime he saw her contact pop up he got excited on the inside.
"Z-Zylin." Heaven cried, trying to form sentences. It was like she had lost all of her vocabulary and thoughts when he answered.
When he heard her crying, he immediately sat up and frowned. "Heaven why you crying? What's wrong?" He asked. His heart started speeding up nervous to hear her response. His mind instantly went to Daloni.
"Malachi and Joe forced theirselves into my place." Heaven said, lips and fingers trembling.
"The fuck? Mama where you at?" Zylin asked jumping up out his chair. His gut was telling him something was off, but he didn't know it had anything to do with Heaven.

"Home. The police came." She sniffled, pulling her knees into her chest. Heaven had never experienced something so scary. She saw news and social media posts about men forcing themselves into women's homes but she never expected it to happen to her.
"I'm about to catch a flight back. I'm coming Heaven." He replied.
"I'm so scared." Heaven admitted, as tears uncontrollably ran down her face. There was a mixture between betrayal and weakness. Heaven couldn't believe that Joe had betrayed her and that she trusted him.
"Baby I'm on my way. Did you call Jayda?" Zylin asked not even realizing that he had called Heaven baby. All he was thinking about was trying to get to her.
"No." Heaven replied.
"Hold on." Zylin said, about to add Jayda to the call.
Jayda picked up on the last ring out of breath. It was clear that she was having a good time with her babydaddy. "Yes nigga?" She asked heavily.
"Yo what the hell yo nasty ass doing?" Zylin frowned, scrunching up his face. "Don't even answer that. Jay we got a problem." He said.
"Can Heaven stay at your place until I get back. Them niggas ran in her shit." Zylin spoke, getting mad all over again.
"Huh? Who? Where she at?" Jayda asked, pushing her babydaddy off of her and giving Zylin her undivided attention.
"Mane those weird ass niggas she used to work with. She on here. I just need her to be with you, my flight ain't gone land until a little after midnight." Zylin replied, waving Gucci Mane and his friends off.
"Of course. Do I need to go get her?" Jayda asked, still not realizing that Heaven was on the other end.
"Mama you feel like driving? Matter fact yea go get her." Zylin replied. He didn't even want Heaven driving anywhere by herself. He had just booked his flight and was now about to go get his things.
"I'm on the way Heaven." Jayda nodded, jumping up to get in the shower. Her babydaddy punched the air mad that they couldn't go for a round three.
"Mama you there?" Zylin asked hearing Heaven's side of the phone get very silent.
Heaven was laying on the floor, eyes half closed. She was trying her best to stay up with Zylin but she felt herself getting weaker and weaker. "Here." She rasped out.
"Shit mane!" Zylin shouted. "I should've stayed, I'm all the way down here and you up there by yourself yo." Zylin rambled, running his hands through his head. At this point he was stressed.
~
"Where she at?" Zylin asked off back, when Jayda opened the door with a loud yawn. All she did was point to the guest room and closed the door behind him.
He wasted no time jogging to the guest room and opening the grey painted door. Heaven was laying her side, under the covers fighting her sleep. She was scared to even go to sleep at Jayda's house even though she knew Jayda wouldn't betray her like Joe did.
Zylin took his shirt off and closed the door behind him. Getting in the bed behind her, he felt Heaven tense up. "It's me." He said softly, pulling the covers off of her.
"Damn bruh." He cursed, seeing Heaven's neck now worse than the first time. She wasn't lightskin but you could clearly see that she was choked by her bruised skin.
As he pulled her into his arms Zylin lifted her face and saw nothing but tears clouding her eye sockets. He sighed and pecked her lips. "I'm sorry."
"I'm so scared." Heaven said softly.
"I'm here. Never leaving again." Zylin reassured her as they looked in each other's eyes. "I promise, I'm not leaving you again." He repeated.
"Get some sleep." He added, glancing back to her neck. He could only imagine the fight that Heaven put up, because he knew there was a damn good one, but somehow he blamed himself.
"Wait did Jayda check out your neck and breathing and stuff? I think you should go get it checked out." Zylin suggested. He had never been in that particular situation, so he was a little hesitant for her to go to sleep with her breathing off.
"I'm fine now. I had a breathing treatment " Heaven nodded.
Zylin made a note to ask Jayda himself. He started to catch onto Heaven's little mindset. She always put others before herself and suffered the consequences later. It wasn't always a good idea.
The room filled with silence as Heaven fell asleep on Zylin's mid chest. He held her tighter as he watched her twitch and whimper here and there.
He then started rubbing her scalp and stared at the black TV screen ahead. Zylin didn't condone violence but Malachi and Joe needed to be taken care of. He just didn't want to get his hands dirty doing it.
