"What time you going in?" Jaelen asked as he laid his whole body on top of her.
"Eleven" she told him "Nigga you too heavy for this"
He chuckled and peppered kisses on her jawline.
"Mmm, don't forget we gotta parent teacher conference at KJ school at five" Ximora said.
"I know shawty" he smiled.
"You working today?" Ximora asked.
He shook his head "Nah imma let Steve handle shit for the day.. you getting off early tonight right?"
She eyed him "Mhm... why?"
"I just wanna spend time witchu tonight, it's been a minute. You free for eight?" he said.
Jaelen was right, Ximora had graduated with her Business Marketing degree a few months ago. As a graduation gift he bought her a salon that was slammed with customers everyday, her business also received a lot of traffic online which resulted in her traveling a lot to do celebrity's hair, and she started selling wigs. To sum it all up she was very busy.
Ximora sighed "I'm sorry baby, but yea I'm free"
He smirke "Soon you gon my suga mama"
"Mmmm I'll stick to you being my sugar daddy, speaking of I need some money"
"For?" He asked as he reached for his phone.
"I saw these-"
She was cut off by her cash app going off, she smiled seeing he sent a thousand.
"Thank you" she smiled kissing him.
He nodded "You tryna shower? You gotta go in soon and I wanna spend some more time witchu"
She smiled and quickly got out the bed.

"Wassup Mora" one of her employees said as she walked in.
She smiled and waved "Hey everyone"
"Why you walking funny?" Someone else asked.
"Cause my heel broke on my other shoe as I was walking.. so I twisted my knee" she quickly lied.
"Mhm"
"Why y'all in my business? Don't y'all got customers coming in soon?" She asked as she went into her office.
She set up her computer, and started organizing her schedule for the day.
"Mora" her assistant, Camille, came bursting through the door.

"Girl what's wrong witchu?"
"Tonight, Jayda and Dess gotta joint hosting and she need someone to do their hair. They asked for you" she told Ximora.
Ximora smiled "What time?"
"They gotta be at the club at eleven, and they asked if you could come around eight"
"Alright tell them I can do it" she nodded.
Camille typed something on her phone, then looked back up.
"Okay, and I got all the hair shipped out this morning. Tracking numbers will be out soon and your bonnet supply just came in" Camille said as she turned to leave.
"Okay thank you so much"
Ximora spent the rest of her day doing hair, until it was time for her shop to close.
"Alright y'all, pay day is tomorrow. Thank you guys for working so hard and everything, have a good night" she smiled as she headed to her car.
"So you gon to the conference then you'll head to their hotel, I texted you the address" Camille said as Ximora sat in her car.
She nodded and pulled off.

"Wassup baby" Jaelen said opening her car door.
"Hiiii" she smiled.
"Kamari.. imma let you know now. If that teacher tell me something about you again, you gon know" Ximora said eyeing KJ.
Jaelen smacked his lips "Bruh that lil girl was messing wit her and she handled it"
Ximora shook her head "You know it wasn't just that and you just standing here encouraging her behavior"
"Mane c'mon we gon be late" he said grabbing her hand.
"Kamari Torres" the teacher called as they stood in the hallway.
Last year for Christmas, KJ asked Jaelen to adopt her, so now she had his last name.
"Hi Ms. Reed and Hi Mr. Torres" the teacher said smiling hard at Jaelen.
Ximora rolled her eyes and sat down next to him.
"Well KJ's behavior has improved since our last meeting. She doesn't act out in class and she's not as confrontational as last time"
Jaelen nodded and glanced at Ximora.
The teacher discussed her grades, which were good. Then the meeting was over.

"What you saying Jae?" Ximora questioned as KJ sat in his car.
"I told you she was doing better, you just don't be here to see it" he said.
She rolled her eyes "I do realize that I'm more busy now, but I still make sure to check in on a regular. Don't fuckin do that Jaelen, it's been four months since I opened my shop, you making it seem like I've been busy her whole life"
"Mane whatever"
"Yea whatever I have to go to work" she said.
He scrunched up his face "Work? I thought you was off early"
"Something came up, why?" she shrugged.
"Ight so when I asked you if you was free at eight what you said?"
Guilt, immediately filled her up.
"Yea..." he chuckled seeing her face.
"Wait Jaelen I'm sorry, I didn't-"
"It's straight Mora" he said opening his car door.
"Imma see you"
Ximora stopped to get something to eat, then followed the directions Camille set her.
"Good evening" Ximora smiled as she came into the hotel suite.
"Hey girl" Dess smiled.
Jayda came and hugged her "Heyyy"
"I hope it wasn't hard to find" she said motioning to the room.
Ximora shook her head "No I actually stayed.. well lived here before"
She thought about when Jaelen lied about being her husband and upgraded her room to a suite like this.
She shook her head as she thought why she moved here. The two had argued about something that was now so silly to her.. just like their current argument.
"Alright so you guys wanted me to freestyle, but can I see what y'all wearing?"
They nodded and pointed to their closet.
Once she got an idea, she had Camille braid down their hair, as she pulled the wigs she brought out.
A few hours passed and she was finished with both of their installs.
"I don't do a lot of color, I like this" Dess smiled running her hands through her burgundy wig.
Jayda took some pictures "I love a good bob"
Ximora smiled "I'm glad y'all like everything"
"Make sure you send your payment info over" Jayda said.
Camille nodded and as she packed everything up.
"Thank you so much" Dess smiled.
"Fasho, thank you guys"
Her phone started going off as she helped Camille pack up.
"Damn" she said looking at all the people following both her main and business Instagram page.

"Jaelen" Ximora called as she walked into their house.
The house was pitch dark, except for the light in the kitchen. When she went to turn it off she saw him sitting at the table on his phone.
"Hey" she said walking up on him.
He looked up at her "Wassup"
"I'm sorry for forgetting about tonight. But if you ever try to demonize me for working and building my career, on my fuckin life I'm taking KJ and leaving. You know we had a conversation about all this before it started and-"
She cut herself off once he stood up, Jaelen's height was still a little shocking to her.
"You ain ever leaving me, 'specially not wit my child... I saw your Instagram story wit them girls" he said.
"..and I'm prada of you. You right we did talk about how busy you was bout to get, and that's my fault. I'm sorry for tryna make it seem like you want present"
"C'mere" he said grabbing her hand and pulling her towards the elevator.
She watched as he pressed the button to take them to the roof.
"You know ion like to wait and eat to do these things" he said as he got on one knee and held onto her waist.
"I love you because you love me. I love you because you hold me down. I love you because you help me, you the only reason I would've went legal bae. I love you because you always retwist my hair, even when you mad at me"
She laughed at the last part and wiped his eye as he started to cry.
"A-and I gotta lot more reasons why I love you. But Mora will you marry me?"
"Yes I'll marry you.. aww don't cry" she smiled as he stood up and hugged her.
