A story told from the point of view of an NPC that became sentient. With the help of a friendly player or two, they set about recovering her memories and finding out the cause of her awakening. Set in the MMORPG TERA(The Exiled Realm of Arborea). I got bored on the long commute to and from work(about 1.5 hours each way) and decided to flesh out some of the ideas I've had about my character in game. I write about a chapter a day on weekdays, maybe on weekends too depending on the stuff I have to do irl.

Born as a super psychic, Psychi cannot live up to the expectations the world has for her. Her relationships crumble from her abilities while a threat looms over the world; an impossibly strong, demented psychic in hiding.However, when Psychi is weakened, a portal erupts from below and envelops her, summoning her to a new world. There, she is given no choice but to fight. The super-psychic that was in hiding was sent to the world long before her and amassed armies of monsters, threatening to end humanity. With the help of The Hero, the last remaining bastion of hope, Psychi resolves to fight to defeat Azad, the Monster King, and stands against his reign.On the other side, her ordinary brother, Jeremy, is left all alone, his parents long dead and his sister now vanished before his eyes. Afterward, a mysterious, blue-robed individual claims Psychi is trapped in another dimension, and that if he ever wants to see his sister again, he will first need the assistance of his sister's rival, Jana, a fellow super psychic whom she nearly killed on accident just moments before. A new chapter each Saturday and sometimes also on Wednesday. (The first chapter is mandatory to understand the story, but the two volumes are written so that you can read either one at your own pace.)World of Fantasy stars Psychi, and World of Psychics stars Jeremy.

Cilen was you typical, run-of-the-mill kinda guy. Well, until his parents passed away when he was 17 forcing him to learn to grow up. Fast. He figured it wouldn't be that bad. He had a house, he had an inheritance, he had friends that kept him company. And at first, it really wasn't anything But sometimes, the loneliness just gets to you. Sometimes, the expectation to not disappoint just gets to you. Sometimes, life just gets to you. And it brought Cilen to his knees, lamenting, cursing, questioning, "why?" "Why did his parents pass away as they did, forcing him to fend for his own?" "Why wasn't he born in a rich household, with a silver spoon in his mouth that catered to his every need?" "Why was every step forwards so difficult, in this accursed society?" He wished that everything would be easy, like inside the worlds of the wuxia novels that he had grown up reading. Special constitution, lucky breaks, fast powerup, get all the chicks and defeat the big evil guy. Simple, easy, satisfying. But life ain't cut out to be that way. The main actors were already set, and there was no changing them. Unless, you moved to a different stage... But this ain't one of your friendly neighborhood transmigrations. It rewards those that are patient, creative and willing to adapt. But perhaps Cilen is able to make use of this opportunity and become something more. _______________________________________________________________________________________________ This story is a personal love letter to all the pieces of fiction that I have read. Its a culmination of the things that made me laugh, cry and smile when I first read them and It has been a personal wish to craft a story that makes me feel the way I did when reading those stories for the first time.
