"Thank you" I said to the cashier as I grabbed my bag. I walked out of Sephora and headed out the mall. I went out front and waited on my Uber to come.
I've been in the house for the past two weeks doing absolutely nothing so I decided to just go to Sephora and get some more make up. I've been feeling like shit, therefore I've been looking like shit. I wanted to do my make up and just feel cute even if I was just going to be laid up in the bed the whole day.
"Paris?" I heard somebody say. I glanced over my shoulder and it was Tyler.
"Hey" I said and put on a fake smile.
"Where you headed?" He asked standing next to me.
"Home, I'm just waiting on my uber" I replied.
"Your car still in the shop?" He raised an eyebrow at me. I knew he knew I was lying but he was still going to play along with me.
"Yeah" I nodded my head.
"C'mon. I gotchu" Tyler said and motioned me to follow him. I cancelled my uber and followed him to his car.
"Thank you" I replied as I climbed into the passenger seat. "I'll give you gas money"
"Don't trip" He said as he opened the back door to put his bags down. He got into the drivers seat and instead of pushing the start button he just stares at me.
"What?" I furrowed my eyebrows at him.
"Wassup with you?" Tyler asked.
"What're you talking about?" I asked confused.
"You've been off lately. I can just see the cloud over your head. You sure you're good?"
"Yeah I'm fine" I replied nodding my head.
"You know it's okay to not be good right? I know we aren't friends for real but if you need to talk I'm here. I can't just ignore depression when I see it"

I could tell that he was genuinely concerned about me.
"Tyler I'm fine." I reassured him.
I wasn't fine but I definitely wasn't comfortable talking about my problems with him. Q is back with his ex. My parents still aren't talking to me. My grades are dropping. If this is what rock bottom feels like, I've definitely hit it.
He nods his head and starts up the car. He backs out the parking spot and headed to my apartment. "So what's wrong? You and your boy going through some shit?"
"Tyler can we not?" I sighed looking out the window.
"You're beautiful you can't be tripping over niggas. As cliché as it sounds there's plenty of fish in the sea."
"It's deeper than that" I replied "I'm fine though, so just drop it" I tried not to give him an attitude because I knew he was just concerned but I really couldn't help it. I sat there quietly the entire ride home, I should've just gotten my ass in the uber. Once he pulled up outside I unbuckled my seatbelt.
"Thank you" I replied and got out the car. I went up to my apartment and got in the bed. I grabbed my remote and turned on the tv. I no longer had the energy to get dressed. I turned on Criminal Minds before changing into my pajamas. I turned off my bedroom light and climbed under the covers. I tried to make it through the episode but I fell asleep.
"Knock knock" I heard Michelle say at my door.
"Mmh?" I replied still half asleep.
"You sleep?" She asked stepping inside turning on the bedroom light.
I didn't respond because bitch it's obvious I'm asleep. I just laid there waiting for her to leave out.

"Me, Sean and Jacobi are going out to eat. C'mon get up and get dressed"
"I'm not hungry" I replied snuggling up with my body pillow.
"You gotta get out this house. C'mon come out and get a few drinks with us"
"I went out. I went to the mall."
"That doesn't count" Michelle says "I know you're going through shit but I can't just sit around and watch you fall more and more into a depression"
"Nobody is fucking depressed!" I said getting frustrated. Everyone all of a sudden thinks they know what I'm going through. I am perfectly fine.
"Okay Paris. I'm not finna argue with you"
"Thank you" I replied pulling the covers over my head and went back to sleep.
