《The Demon's Little Wolf》EPILOGUE

"Alice and Sofia get back here or we will be late." I shouted as I walked in the hallways of the castle, looking for my little bundle of joys. It's been years since Alexander and I have gotten together. Four years ago, I gave birth to twins, both girls.
They are the cutest babies ever. Alice is the older twin and she has inherited most of Alexander's trait and she looks like a copy of him. She has the same eyes and the same attitude. She also has dimples. Compared to Sofia, she is colder just like Alexander but once she warms up to you, she is really bubbly. As for Sofia, she has inherited my traits. She has my eyes and she is talkative like me and more cheerful that her twin. Both of them have black hair, like us. Since I am a werewolf and Alexander a demon, they are hybrids. Half werewolf and half demon.
"Still trying to get them to listen to you?" Alexander came from behind me and hugged me.
"It is all because of you. you spoil them so much that they don't listen to me anymore."
"I can't do anything if they like their father more." I huffed at his words. "But it is good for me since I don't have to share you with them."
"Yeah right but I have to share you with them." I scoffed
"You look beautiful by the way. I am even happier now that I don't have to share you." He whispered in my ears as he took in my appearance. I was wearing a long, light blue off shoulder dress with flower designs on it torso till the middle of the skirt.
"You don't look bad either." I joked as I looked at him. He was dressed in his usual black suit.
He placed a kiss on the side of my head. "Girls come on we are leaving. You don't want to end up here all alone." His voice echoes in the hallways. Soon, I heard footsteps coming followed by the giggles filling the hallways.
"Dada." Sofia's voice reached my ears. I watched with a smile as she came running towards us while dragging Alice behind her.
"Hey angels." Alexander said as he crouched in front of her and scooped both of them in his arms. I huffed as both girls gave him a kiss on his cheeks.

"You know you guys have a mother too right?" I crossed my hands in front of me and playfully glared at them.
Alice smiled at me and extended her arms towards me and I took her from Alexander, sticking my tongue out at him in the process. Alice kissed me on the cheeks. "Love you mommy."
"Love you too sweetie."
"Mommy what about me?" Sofia asked.
"I love you too." I kissed her on the cheeks as she did the same to me. "Now, are you ready to go?"
"Yes!" Both of them exclaimed and laughed. I shook my head as we went outside the castle and got into our car. Ever since we have been at war all those years ago, we have made it a rule to meet once every year where we will be signing a new pledge every year to avoid any further wars among the supernatural. Well, not all supernatural agreed but those who did, attend it every year. You could say it was some sort of gala for us now.
We reached the hall after thirty minutes. "I think we are a bit late" I said as I looked at the numerous cars already here. Alexander just shrugged as he unbuckled his seatbelt and got out of the car. He opened the door and helped me out before going to to the kids.
With Sophia by my side and Alice by Alexander's we walked to the entrance where the guards opened the big double doors. The place was already full with the other supernatural around. We walked past the crowd of people towards my grandmother who was talking to some guests.
"Analise!" She exclaimed once she saw us. Over the years, our relationship has become better now. "You are looking so pretty."
"Thank you." I hugged her back.
She pulled away. "Looking handsome as always Alexander." She pulled him into a tight hug and I stifled a laugh, earning a glare from Alexander. I saw the girls trying not to laugh too. Alexander and grandmother have became close to and grandmother considers Alexander as her own blood which is why she can hug him like that.
"And look at the cute little angels." She squealed as she embraced the girls.

"Analise." I heard a voice from behind me. Turning around, I saw Evelyne along with Axel and her kids. Around the same time I was pregnant with the twins, she got pregnant with their son, Roman and then two years later they had a girl, Dalia. Also, Evelyne and Axel are now the new leaders of werewolves.
Since after the war, there was nobody to take the throne, grandmother decided to do something that never happened before. She made the Alphas as well as Lunas fight for the position. It was not only fighting skills but also the way they treat their people and their intelligence too, that is they were tested for whether they have the qualities of a leader of not. At last, Axel and Evelyne won, making them the new king queen.
"I missed you so much Eve" I said as I pulled her in a hug.
"Don't tell me you forgot about me. We were supposed to be a trio." I heard the one and only Diana's voice.
"Well get in the hug once and for all your highness." I said jokingly as she hugged us. One more thing, Diana is the queen od vampires now. Since I had killed the king, his son, Enzo took the throne. Then in one of the meetings we had with him, he met Diana and they found out they were mates. They also have a three year old daughter, Rose. From the corner of my eyes, I saw Enzo, Alexander and Axel do their bro hug thing. Among us, we let the formalities drop since we are all nearly the same age and are also friends.
"Okay let's go and sign the new pledge and then we can continue talking." Enzo said as we broke our hug.
"Yeah. Where are the kids by the way?" Evelyne asked.
"Right there." I pointed at the balcony where all our kids were playing around. "Don't worry the guards are keeping an eye on them" Diana added
"I would be more scared for the guards if I were you." I said and they all sighed.
"They sure know how to tire someone out." Axel said and we agreed. Our kids are like inseparable when they meet and they well known for their mischievous ways. "Let's go now."
We went to the small seating area where the other leaders were already present out of which I recognised King Tarsal and his son, King Elijah, Leader Elena's daughter and some other. We greeted each other before getting on with the normal procedure which included a few discussion, reading of the new pledge and then finally signing it.
"Now that this is over, you can go back to enjoy the party." King Tarsal said.
We all left and I went to look for Alice and Sophia. I found them standing on the balcony by themselves as they looked at the stars. "What are you doing here all alone?" I said as I crouched behind them and placed my hands around both of them.
"Looking at the sky. Look how pretty it is mommy." Sophia said as she pointed at the sky full of stars.
"It sure is sweetie not more than you two though." I smiled at them.
"Mommy, why are there so many stars in the sky?" Alice asked me
"There are many explanations for this but I believe is that the stars are the angles sent by the moon goddess to look after us. From up there, they can see everything we do and guide us. I consider the stars as our guardians."
"I did not know we were having a family moment and I was left out from it." Alexander said in a teasing voice as he crouched beside me.
"We wanted to have our girls time." Alice said and I laughed. Alexander placed his hands over his heart.
"You wound me angel." He acted earning a smack from me and he just looked at me sheepishly.
"No I love you dada." Alice quickly said.
"Yes. We love you dada" Sophia supported her as they both hugged him. I smiled at them. The three of them were my life and even if I lost one of them, I would lose a part of myself. "I love you all." Alexander said and he extended his arm, pulling me in the hug too.
"I love you all too." I hugged them back and I felt the familiar feeling of being loved and at home.

Recruit - An Infinite Labyrinth prequel
A prequel to The Infinite Labyrinth. The year is 1816. The British Empire is in full swing, under the auspices of King George III. The Infinite Labyrinth has been pouring out its product from beyond our reality and fostered a new industrial revolution. Times are changing, and the people of London are feeling the winds of the revolution while British Professionals push into the Labyrinth. The newly formed Artefact Hunting Company is looking for recruits, and they have new technology to help them. From the slums of London, they aim to recruit a new wave of Professionals. And make Zacharias and the Earl of Carnavon lots of money. So, for Rowan Rivers and a handful of lucky ones, it's time to head into the Labyrinth, and discover what makes it different from England. And what makes THEM different? Recruit is a bunch of chapters I wrote to create to the setting, mood, and game systems of the Infinite Labyrinth. It is NOT a complete story in the classic sense. It's more of a slice of life view of early days of a normal Professional from the Infinite Labyrinth, and it's heavy on info-dump. It's 90% canon - there's probably a bit of a difference between how some characters and common behaviour are portrayed here and how they'll come out in the main story. Set two years before the events that kick-start the main series, it features some of the secondary/peripheral characters of the Infinite Labyrinth and will tell you all about the basic mechanics of the Labyrinth's RPG system. It can be considered a spoiler, as the characters in the Infinite Labyrinth are going to need to figure out all that, on their own. But if you like a much deeper exposition in the mechanics, here it is. The entire prequel is about 80 pages long.
