"What!?" Evelyne's high voice echoed in my room and I covered my ears with my hands.

"Geez I told you to be quiet girl!"

"Quiet!? You want me to be quiet!?" She threw her hands in the air. "Firstly you have a mate. Second, you meet him but do not tell me anything and let's not forget the fact that he is the king of demons, your family's biggest enemy."

"I know Eve bu-"

"I am not done yet. Let me speak. You did not even tell me how bad your asshole family treated you. And here I was, trying not to get on their wrong side while they kept hurting MY best friend. The biggest thing! You are a black she wolf but kept it all hidden from me. Why? Did you not take me as your bestfriend?"

I felt guilty as Evelyne took out her frustration. After finally coming clear with Alexander, I decided to tell Evelyne everything. Starting from what happened when I was five, me being a black she wolf, to my mate being Alexander. She listened the entire time, completely silent which is the opposite of her. I thought she took it well but I guess not.

"I am sorry Evie. You are my best friend. You were always there for me when I needed you in school. I know it was stupid of me to not tell you all of this even when I knew I could trust you. I did not want to get you tangled in my messed up life. Also, I was somewhere scared that you would leave me, just like the others. I am really sorry for being a bitch and keeping all this to myself but please Evie, don't leave me. You are my only friend and I consider you as my sister. Every time I fell, you always helped me up and stood by my side even when I was being cold. If you left me, it will feel like what happened when I was 5 all over again and I will not be able to take it Evie." By the end of it, tears were falling off her beautiful face.

She pulled me in a bone crushing hug as she sobbed on my shoulders. "I won't leave you bitch. You are my favorite bitch for a reason and you are stuck with me for the rest of your life. But I will not forgive you so easily for not telling me about your past. Especially about those royal asses."

"How can I make it up to you?"

"First, I need a girls day out where you will take me on a shopping spree and buy me my favorite food. Then we need to have spa time together along with our nails. Finally, we need to have a sleepover. Only if they meet my expectations will I forgive you. Am I clear."

"Aye aye captain" I joked as we pulled away.

"You know how much I want to kill your stupid parents and let's not get started on that sister of yours. She still cannot keep her hands off Axel. I want to kill her so much."

"There comes the Evelyne I knew"

"I never left in the first place" She huffed. "Now let me continue my rant." I laughed as I let my head fall on the stack of pillows on my bed and listened as Evelyne's voice echoed in the room. "So where was I... Yeah. I want to kill your entire family. How could they treat you like this. Their own daughter. They are just a bunch of cowards. Your brother, the next king, is so over confident I tell you."

"Perfect description of them" I gave her a thumbs up as she laid next to me.

"Next, to the fact that you are black she wolf. I am so lucky to have such a powerful wolf as a friend. Imagine how I could flex in front of all those jealous girls at my pack and even that Ivory girl and Rayna. I can't even imagine the feeling that I will feel when making them jealous. To see their red faces."

"Wow there. Tie the horses that are running free in your mind. You can't tell about whatever we talked to anyone. Not about my past, not about me being a black she wolf and especially not me being mate with Alexander."

She smiled sheepishly at me and nodded quickly. "So.... You went from King Denver to Alexander directly. huh?" She nudged my arm playfully as I rolled my eyes

"Pretty sure you went from Alpha to Axel directly didn't you?" I mimicked her tone.

"Yeah yeah. So tell me, how is he? Does he treat you well or is he an asshole?"

"Everything is fine for now. Last night itself we cleared things out and I have not really met him today since I wanted to tell you everything."

"Hmm. Well if he hurts you, I will kill him I swear but I think you would be just fine doing it." Both of us laughed.

"I promise to never keep anything from you."

"You better not"

Our conversation was cut short by a knock on the door. I lazily got up from the bed and opened the door to reveal the girl who came with Alexander. Looking closely, she seemed to be around my age itself. She had a beautiful body with her with hazel eyes and black hair just like mine but with highlights and she was slightly taller than me.

"Hey." I said with a smile.

"Hi" She eyed me up "So you are Alexander's mate"

I first was shock to hear those words but I guess it made sense if Alexander told her since I also told Evelyne. The only thing that worried me was her reaction. Would she be like a bitch or is she nice? "Umm yeah."

I saw her face contort to one of relief and a grin spread across her face before she pulled me in a bone crushing hug while squealing "How did that idiot get so lucky" I took a few steps back to balance myself as I nearly fell.

"Wow there. Calm down." Evelyne's laughing voice made her pull away.

"Oh sorry" She said sheepishly "I did not even introduce myself. Princess Analise and Luna Evelyne, I am Diana. The third in command of King Denver."

"Nice to meet you Diana but please drop the formalities." I waved a hand in front of her as I guided to the bed where Evelyne was sitting on. We took a seat on the bed and formed a small circle. "So. Alexander told you about it."

"Yes and I am so happy for him honestly. I thought you were like your sister the other day when I saw you checking him out at the meeting but I guess not"

"You seem to be pretty friendly with him." Evelyne said

"Oh that idiot is kind of my big brother. We have been friends for a long time now and after a long time I saw him be happy. Even when he was telling me and Adrian about it, there was this glint of joy in his eyes. I would say you have him wrapped around your fingers already"

"Pretty sure its is the same case here. This girl right here already fell for him and hard." Evelyne teased me.

"Haha. Says the girl who keeps dreaming various things about her Alpha" I wiggled my eyebrows at her

"Don't change the topic. Who is Adrian?"

"Oh he is my brother, the third in command of Alexander but all three are kind of like family now"

"Umm did Alexander tell you anything else?" I asked, curious to know if Alexander told her about my powers.

"Actually about that." She trailed off "He might have told me about your powers. You know but I had to force him out of it. So it is not actually his fault here. He did not want to tell me. I swear"

I sighed "It's fine I guess. As long as you don't tell anyone else"

"My mouth is shut" She pretended to zip her mouth and I chuckled.

"Okay let's get all this mate and power talk aside and get some girl talk now." Evelyne swung her hands around both of our shoulder and pulled us close to her. "I feel like we are going to be that trio of three bad bitches." She literally screamed while Diana and I laughed.

After talking for hours, the three of us became good friends. Diane was actually the same age as us, 19. We talked about mundane things and we ended up having a small movie marathon in my room and skipping lunch. She was really nice unlike what I thought her to be. Among the three of us it is only her who has not found her mate yet. Our small girls talk was over as it was time for dinner and we got ready then went to eat.

Throughout the whole dinner, Alexander and I kept peaking glances at each other but none of us were able to do anything. Since the other leader had returned back, the castle was hectic and they shared whatever they found with us.

Apparently the vampires have been staying at different places. They found traces of them but not one vampire was in sight. Dinner ended with all of us being requested to be ready for any attack from now on and to train.

Totally drained out of my energy, I dragged myself back to my room. As soon as I entered my room, I froze in my place as a dark figure stood next to the window that I left opened.
