《The Demon's Little Wolf》AMELIA

I got up and dusted my pants while my eyes adjusted to the darkness surrounding me. I created a few balls of fire with my hands and let them float to the different corners of the room, illuminating the mysterious room.
When I thought of exploring, I surely did not imagine actually coming across a secret passage, let alone a whole entire secret room!
Umm yes you did
I was joking.
Yeah of course you were.
Hey! Don't be sarcastic with me.
I am part of you! How can I not be sarcastic?
That's true...
Chuckling to myself, I finally allowed my eyes to wander around the room. The room was somewhat big with walls made up of stones on each side, including the ceiling. A layer of mold and dust covered the walls and a stale smell lingered around the room, clearly due to the lack of air circulation.
It looked like some sort of ancient library or an office. There was a huge table in the middle of the room, littered with ancient scrolls of paper. Some were had even fallen on the floor. The three sides of the room, had huge shelves against the wall, each of them filled with different types of hardcover books, their spines facing outwards and all neatly arranged.
On the left side of where I was standing, two closed chests were placed next to each other while on the left side, there was only some sort of old sofas and a small coffee table. I decided to check to check out the chests first.
Coughing due to the amount of dust hat came out once I opened it, I saw several scrolls in the chest. I opened the other one which also contained scrolls. I picked a random one and opened it. It looked like some sort of letter written in cursive handwriting. After going through the letters, I finally found out about what was written. Apparently it was for the war we had with the demons a long time ago.
The letter was actually from the demons, more precisely, Alexander's grandfather who was king at that time. After reading several other letters, I found out that during the war, Alexander's grandfather had died but instead of the war being stopped, his father who was prince at that time, took over and led them to their defeat. Grandmother had made the strategies actually and helped us win the war. In the midst of the war, Alexander's father managed to live.
Now actually wondering about it, I never heard about him from any of the demons or even saw him. If he did not, he should have still been king instead of Alexander, just like my father still is. Maybe if I asked Alexander he would tell me?

Jeez who am I trying to convince. As if he would ever tell me anything
Shaking my head, I headed towards the the other chest and to my surprise the scrolls in this one was about a war against the vampires which I never knew about. As the best of curiosity got me, I headed towards the big table and inspected the scrolls lying around. These ones were maps. Some from the surrounding while others at other kingdoms or even random ones. All of them had markings on them and I was guessing it was for some sort of strategy.
Judging by the amount of preparation and good strategies we had, we won the war and maybe that's why the vampires were attacking us. They wanted revenge.
Next stop, the shelves. My fingertips grazed the thick covers of each book, analysing their titles at the same time. Just as I was about to go back to the scrolls, a book caught my eyes. Or more precisely, its title.
The female black wolf.
As I took steps closer to the book, I felt my heart beat rise a bit as a weird sense of nervousness came upon me. I grabbed and pulled the book out from the shelf. My jaws fell to the floor when the shelf that once was against the wall, moved, revealing another secret path.
Wow. A secret path in a secret room.
Rolling my eyes, I walked down the spiral stairs. Reaching the bottom of the stairs, I was met with a room even bigger than the one I just left. Unlike the other one, this one seemed more ancient and well kept in some sort of way. It was pretty clear that magic was used to keep the room tidy and clean because an energy radiated all around.
As I assessed the room, I could not help but be amazed. Even if there was a clear absence of windows, the room had a magical and soothing glow to it. The room was illuminated yet at the same time it was not. The room seemed to have engulfed me in a warm blanket of comfort and peace. The light rays created by the magic twirled around the rooms, leaving trails of shining particles behind them.
Two sides of the room were covered with bookshelves, filled with books, calling me to read them. Right opposite to where I stood, was a beautiful golden lectern with a book placed on it. The lectern gave out a golden glow around it, forming a thin glowing bubble around the structure and the black book completely contrasted to it except for the golden lettering on it. On the sides, stood several other artefacts from weapons to clothes, all displayed on lecterns protected by a glass shield. Right behind it, was a portrait of probably the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in my life.

I took a few steps closer as I observed the painting with wide eyes. The portrait was that of a tall woman, standing with her beautiful brown hair flowing behind her. Her beautiful tall and slender figure gave her the looks of a goddess. Her beautiful, tanned skin had a glow to them. Her beautiful grey orbs held so many emotions.
Pride
Happiness
Fearlessness
Power
Confidence
In the background of the picture, was the reflection of a black wolf with glowing gold eyes. It did not take long for me to know that I was actually looking at the female black wolf that the book said about. Just the picture was enough to say she was powerful and definitely a great leader. Unknowingly, I found myself smiling as I imagined myself becoming someone like her.
My gaze fell on the glowing lectern holding the mysterious book.
"Amelia Del Rosa" Was written in golden letters on the black cover of the book. As my fingers grazed the cover, a feeling of power passed through my body. I opened it and found myself face to face with the diary of none other than Amelia. Without wasting anytime, I started reading.
An hour later, I was sitting down against the wall where the portrait was hanging with the book in my hands. I shut it as I finished reading most of it. Saying I was dumbfounded would be an understatement. Just reading part of it was enough to shock me. I wondered what the rest of diary has.
She wrote about her life in this diary. Starting from when she first shifted. How she learnt about her powers, How she controlled them. How she would train herself to be powerful. She wrote about the times she felt like giving up but kept going. All the way to when she helped my family win the war against the vampires at that time. The last thing she wrote in her diary was what made me feel all sorts of feelings.
'I accomplished what I came to do. Now, when it will be the time, another will come and complete her destiny. Until then, I will leave. On a journey where I hope to find myself."
When she said she is leaving, did she mean she died?
What journey was she talking about?
Who was the next one after her?
Are there more female black wolves except me?
She never mentioned about having a mate in her diary.
Did she also go thought the same as me?
And most importantly, IS SHE ALIVE?
With all these thoughts going through my mind, I got up and placed the book back on the lectern before going to the shelves. By reading some of the books, I found more about the fight we had with the vampires long ago. It is said that the king was killed by a powerful female, who I believe was Amelia. It has also been mentioned about the difficulty they had killing him since a leader was not someone who could be easily killed. After all that I managed to find out, the only guess about who the new vampire king could be, was that he was probably the heir who was not killed at that time.
After what felt like hours, I decided to finally leave. I took the book from the lectern with me and walked up the stairs to the other room. Just as I was about to leave, something caught my eyes from the table. A piece of green paper was sticking out from under the white table cloth.
I placed the book on one of the nearby shelves as I made my way to the table. I removed the drape in one swift movement, causing the scrolls to fall on the ground. Underneath it was actually a map. A very large one. The map was very detailed as every where was labelled. Little red marks and blue marks were placed all over the map along with crosses and circles. At first glance they seemed random but the more I looked at them I could see a pattern. It must have been used during the war.
At the far corner of the map, a strange mark grabbed my attention. It consisted of a circle in the middle of a triangle and a square combined together and finally another circle engulfing the previous shapes. The sides of the triangle stuck out of the circle. It was placed in the middle of a forest but it was not the only one. There were two other same symbols on the map. Taking my phone that I somehow did not forget to bring out of my jean pocket, I took a picture of the map and stuffed it back.
I took the diary of Amelia and made my way out. Once out, I used my magic to close the room as I did not know how to actually close. Hell I did not even know how to open it. I placed a small mark on the floor so that if I needed to come back, I would find it easily and would not just fall down while trying to find it.
As I went to my room, millions of thoughts came to my mind.
What happened to Amelia?
Why did she left?
What did she mean by another one will come?
Where is she?
Is she alive?
What did that symbol mean?
Should I try to find her?
Could she help us again?
Should I tell the others?
