I held her body close to mine.

Enjoying the way she fit to mine perfectly. The way she curled up against me, with her head on my chest and her small breathes hitting my neck.

I couldn't get over how she made me feel.

Growing up I was told mates are the best thing in the world. I always scoffed at it.

How could one person make you feel like your on top of the world?

But now I understand.

I understand the tiniest things she did made my heart swell. I understand that her smile lit up a room. I understand that her voice could have me on my knees in seconds. I understand that she could tell me to do anything and I would do it, not even hesitate.

My body vibrated with a deep growl. She's mine. No one would have her.

I groaned lowly when she hooked her leg around my hip, pushing herself closer to me.

"You have me wrapped around your finger little one."

Getting hit by her stupid truck was the best thing that happened to me.

Nuzzling my head into her neck and breathing in deeply at her scent.
