Jackson hobbled over to me and grabbed me roughly, checking me for injuries.

"All the blood is gone," he said in amazement.

I glanced at his shoulder and gasped. The gash was worse than it initially looked. I took a still-flaming hand and pressed it gently to Jackson's shoulder. After a few seconds, the gash was gone.

"Jackson, I welcome you into the Mooncrest Alliance Pack," I said as I bit his shoulder.

He groaned at first, but soon started mining lightly at the sensation I smiled into the bite until I was finished.

"Will you be my mate, Jackson?" I asked, holding out my hand.

"Yes!" He grabbed my hand and scooped me up in his arms.

He kissed me passionately as my flames danced across my skin to his. We pulled away and I noticed the mark on his shoulder. It was the same one I had given to Elliot but had taken back when I denied the bond.

After that, we went back to the pack and explained everything. I thought it was best for me to leave their pack and start my own. I was an Alpha, after all and I couldn't take the place of the current Alpha because I was not blood. Alpha Adam didn't blame me for taking away his son's powers. He knew that Elliot was a little shit.

My standing with the MAP was still good, considering I was still the beta's daughter. We agreed to be allies once my pack was formed. Jackson came with me so we could be together. I had broken the mate bond with Elliot, just as my mother had done to my father, but I created another one with Jackson.

My pack was growing, slowly but surely. Jackson was my Luna, for lack of a better term, a girl and her mate were the betas and one of Jackson's friends became our delta. After our pack had formed up some, Jackson and I decided it was time to try for a family.

I got pregnant with triplets, two boys and one girl. About a month after I found out I was pregnant, Jackson and I got married. Five years later, I had the most powerful pack across the nation, but we used our power and status for good, unlike my father. I also had four more kids. Jackson and I lived out our live in relative peace and we turned over the pack to our firstborn, Alice, one of the triplets, when she became eighteen. I think it's safe to say I lived a good life, even if it didn't start out great. But no matter how dark the night may seem, the stars will come out eventually.
