《The Star Goddess (Watty's 2018)》Chapter Fifteen

I sat in the Lamborghini waiting for Tara to come out and take me to school. I fiddled with my hands because I was really nervous. Everything was tinged with purple for my nervousness and fear of the unknown.

Stella, let me say this nicely. CHILL THE FUCK OUT! It's gonna be okay. They are going to love us and the ones that don't we can scare them away easy enough.

I laughed loudly at my best friend.

Ana, I'm so glad I have you. I don't know what I would do.

Wither and die, basically.

I laughed again when Tara plopped into the car.

"You seem happy," she said, beaming at me.

"Yea. Ana's great. And I'm adjusting really well to you guys," I said happily.

"That's good, baby," Tara chirped. "You excited?"

I nodded to her question and decided to talk to Ana.

Hey, Ana?

Yea, Stells?

You think we look ok for school?

Bitch please. We're hot as hell.

I laughed loudly and Tara looked at me with wide eyes.

"Tatiana," I said and Tara nodded.

I looked down at what I was wearing and I realized Ana was right. I was wearing dark blue ripped skinny jeans, black heeled boots, a loose white blouse, and a green baggy jacket all paired with a black purse.

Yeah. You're right, Ana. We look smokin'. Let's hope we don't burn down the school with this amount of hot.

Damn right, girl!

I laughed again as I prepared for the new school, now feeling more confident.

After about ten minutes, we arrived at the school and I was pleasantly surprised. It was very sleek and modern, not at all how I expected it to be. I jumped out excitedly, feeling Ana get pumped about the new amount of werewolves surrounding us.

"Bye, mum!" I said to Tara as I waved. He face showed how much her heart swelled when I called her mum.

"Cole's picking you up later, baby. Have a good day!"Tara said back.

I turned around to step forward and the first thing I did was bump into something hard. I took a step back, thinking I had walked into a pole when I looked up to see Jackson's face.

"Jackson?!? What- what are you doing here?" I exclaimed happily.

"Uh. I'm kind of a werewolf. Except I had my parents around long enough to understand and go through my first change. Are you a-?" He cut himself off, not sure of what to ask me.

I pulled away the hair on my neck to show my mark.

"I haven't been inducted into the pack yet, but I'm sort of a werewolf."

"What do you mean "sort of"?" Jackson asked.

"I'm kind of the Moon Goddess's daughter..." I trailed off.

"Oh. That makes sense," he said as if realizing something. My ears perked up.

"What makes sense?" I asked.

"When I was... hitting on you, after you told me off, James was acting real skittish and scared. He said 'Moon Goddess' and shut down for three days," Jackson explained.

"But I wasn't-" I started before he cut me off.

"James could still sense the power you radiate as a goddess," Jackson explained further.

I made an oh shape with my mouth before looking at Jackson carefully. I reached out and hugged him tight. I had missed him and I had been going through so much lately, I just needed someone who knew me already. I just needed a friend. Jackson hugged me back when I heard a growling noise. Jackson and I pulled apart to see a boy with sandy blonde hair snarling at us.

Jackson pushed me behind him before he started to talk.

"Alpha Elliot, good morning. Can I help you?" Jackson said, worried. I recognized Elliot's name and started growling right back. Everything on my started turning black from the dark emotions I was feeling.

"Jackson, let's go," I said using half of Ana's voice.

I started to walk away when I heard Elliot say something.

"Mate."

Oh hell to the fucking no. That was all it took for me to grab Jackson and start running. Ana was whining at me because I didn't recognize he was my mate. I don't know why. Maybe because I had just turned. But I was not ready to face this shit. Especially him. I was so not ready to deal with that asshole who apparently is my mate.

Good call, Cole, I thought bitterly to myself as I dragged Jackson around the school building to get away from Elliot.

Guess we're missing first period. I heard Ana's voice ring out.

Oh, yeah.
