《The Star Goddess (Watty's 2018)》Chapter Twelve

I waited for someone to say something and nobody did. So I decided to start the conversation.

"So, uh, hi. I'm Stella," I murmured and waved slightly.

"Uh, Stella. This is Alpha Adam and Luna Jane," Tara said as she pointed to the two older people.

"And this is the Delta, Asher," Cole said giving him a "man-hug".

"Nice to meet you," I said politely. Adam coughed briefly before saying something.

"You should teach her the rules of the pack before she disrespects me further," Adam said snobbily.

"What did I do? All I said was it was nice to meet you?" I cocked my head to the side in confusion.

Adam's eyes started turning yellow and I could feel Ana getting tense.

You idiot! He's the Alpha! You didn't use the proper honourifics. It's not as bad for the Delta but you need to respect the Alpha, Stella!

I'm not the one flipping out because I didn't bow down like a dog! I'm not just going to submit to people because they have a higher 'ranking' than me, Tatiana!

I imagined a soundproof wall to separate me and Ana to try and block her out of my head. I imagined stuff to go back to being human so I decided to apply the same concept here. The. I turned my attention back to Alpha Adam.

"So my wolf just let me in on a little secret. Apparently, I didn't recognize you as Alpha. So sorry, but you don't get to be even irritated with me.

You aren't the one who just found out your father was an Alpha, a werewolf, and a mass murderer. You aren't the one who just found out your mother is a goddess who watches over the fucking wolves. You didn't just go through and hour of pain unexpectedly.

You at least knew what the hell was happening when you turned and you knew who you were and who you came from! You at least had a family that loved you! You didn't grow up alone thinking you were unwanted by the world! You didn't try to kill yourself because you couldn't deal with the loneliness! So you need to shut the fuck up and shove your title up your ass!" I ranted angrily. Adam looked away and backed down.

Stella, calm down. Look at your hands.

I heard Ana come back and listened to her this time. I looked down and my arms were all aflame. I backed up to a mirror in the hall next to the kitchen.

I cried out and stumbled backwards, tripping over my own feet when I saw my reflection. My eyes were bright red and so was my usually brown hair. My nails were transforming and so were my teeth. Flickering flames erupted from my fingertips and licked their way up my arm but I couldn't feel them.

Ana, how do I change into my wolf form?

Let me do it. Let me in.

I let Ana take over my body and I could feel the transformation happening. It was less painful the second time, but still hurt. When I opened my eyes and looked in the mirror, my wolf wasn't white anymore. The fur was tinged reddish-orange and my eyes still looked like blood.

Ana let me have control over my body and I bolted towards the door. I rammed into, unable to unlock it and turn the knob. Suddenly,

I heard a click and the door was open. I looked up and Cole was standing there. I nodded at him as a thank you and started out to the forest behind the house.

"Please be careful, Stella!" Cole hollered behind me.

I howled in return and barked twice. Then I took back of towards the woods again.
