Cole places his hand on my shoulder and guided me to his car. I stand in awe over how amazing his car is. It was a sleek black and red Lamborghini.

"Holy hell! I LOVE IT!!!" I yelled excitedly. Cole laughed at my reaction.

"We can get you one if you want," Cole offered.

"Whaaaaaat? No way! Those things are expensive! How did you afford one in the first place!" I was still in shock he had such a beautiful piece of heaven in his hands.

"I'm an expensive lawyer. And Tara's a famous scientist. She helped along with a lot of discoveries and made many of her own. She specializes in historical sciences. Ancient civilizations to fossils. We get to travel a lot because of her job." Cole answered like it was no big deal and smiled proudly as he spoke of his wife.

I'm sure my jaw was hanging to the center of the earth. Cole chuckled at my expression and opened the car door for me.

"Hop on in, sweet pea. We have a lot to see," Cole smiled brightly as he motioned for me to sit with his hand.

I climbed into the heavenly car and breathed in the scent of the leather. The interior was still black and red themed, but it was in leather and had white accents. Cole popped into the driver's seat and started the engine. The car roared to life then purred quietly as it idled.

"How far away do you live?" I asked curiously.

"About twenty minutes. Not too far," Cole responded as he put the car into drive.

The ride was amazing. I rolled down all the windows and let the wind rip through the car causing both of out hair to fly all over the place. I cranked the radio as a few songs I knew came on. I started singing along to the radio and to my surprise, so did Cole. After the "Kids in the Dark" by All Time Low finished, I turned down the radio to ask a question.

"You listen to All Time Low?!?" I was so excited he knew that song.

"Yeah, of course. They're a great band," he stated with a duh tone. After a second, we both broke out laughing. As I heard another song I know come on, I cranked the radio again.

"Let's see if you know this one," I challenged and laughed. "Down with the Sickness" by Disturbed started playing.

"Drowning deep in my sea of loathing

Madness is the gift, that has been given to me," both me and Cole were screaming the words at the top of our lungs and dying laughing. As the song came to a close, we looked at each other and started laughing again.

"I think we'll get along just fine," Cole said as he laughed.

"Well, you have pretty good taste in music, so I agree," I smiled broadly. My new dad and I already had a bit in common.

After sitting in silence for a bit, I noticed we were in a more rural part of the city.

"Where are we?" I asked.

"Mooncrest. It's a town a bit out of the way, but not too far from civilization," Cole laughed lightly.

We passed long rows of trees and bushes. The vast forest just seemed to expand into forever. After another few miles, Cole turned down onto a dirt road that was practically invisible. We drove down the road for about half a mile before a House peeked through the trees.

As Cole parked the car, my jaw once again dropped. The house was...... daaaaaaang. There were no words. I thought the Lamborghini was a lot. This house made the car seem like a toy.
