《Alpha and Me》The at Home Date

***********************************

It's been about a year and Weston and I are perfectly happy. We are still boyfriend and girlfriend but we are perfectly fine with that. I live in his house and spend hours together each day.

Today was a little different. Weston said he wanted to have a special little at home lunch just to the two of us. We hadn't down something like this before so I was a little nervous and happy.

I continued to trim the rises happily humming a small song while waiting for Weston to return home from his pack meeting with other Alphas.

Satisfied with my trimming I walked back inside. Taking off my gardeners gloves and gardening supplies I placed them in the closet space meant for my gardening stuff.

Giving my hat to a maid walking also I kindly asked her to place it in the ways and I walked in the kitchen prepping Weston and my lunch.

Pushing Open the door I riffled around looking for the perfect lunch meal. Pasta? Nah, maybe... Steak? Had that yesterday perhaps chicken. No... AHA! Sourdough bread sandwiches, homemade potato chips, healthy salad and smooth flavorful tomato soup! (A/N: I woke up really early and haven't eaten yet, can't ya tell ;)

I ruffled through the cabinets picking all the ingredients and set them on the counter.

Grabbing a pot I placed it in the stove and poured the tomato soup and let it heat then simmer. I heard a distant click and headed to front hoping to see Weston.

He was handing his coat and bags to a butler and saw me and smiled I smiled back and we sped walked to each other and embraced.

I took a deep breath inhaling his lovely fresh pine smell. He pulled back smiling.

"What were you doing? You smell delicious."

"I was making our lunch."

"Let me help you."

"It's fine, settle down and I'll make it."

"I'm helping, come on."

I smiled and we walked to the kitchen to finish cooking lunch.

"Ah! W-Weston not so f-fast!"

"Why not? It'll be better."

"S-Stop going so fast..!"

"It'll be better just wait."

"B-But... You will spill the tomato soup if you stir it so fast!"

Weston laughed heartily "Not to worry dear it won't spill."

I raised an eyebrow "And if you do?"

He smiled "I will kiss you on the cheek saying you were right and clean it up."

I laughed "Are you trying to make me want you to spill it?"

Weston smiled and continued storing while I started to place the thin potato slices into the fryer. Sounds of crackles and pops filled the air. I then headed to the salad.

Placing the washed leaves into a bowl I added cut and cleaned cabbage, carrots, and strawberries for a sweet touch. Then I threw in some pine nuts and sesame seeds for a crunch. Adding small pita chips I looked for the special ranch.

It was high up on the refrigerator shelf and I went on my tippy toes to reach it. I felt Weston's chest press onto my back as I see his arm reach for the ranch.

He smiled down at me "Be careful."

Then he handed it to me and went back to his ferocious stirring. I smiled lovingly and walked to my salad adding the right amount.

I then grabbed one enormous fork and spoon. Stuffing the fork and spoon into the salad I threw some salad into the air and caught it back in the bowl. It was a pretty sight. Bright fresh leaves of lettuces fluttering down, small carrot strings twirling downward, pine nuts and sesame seeds sprinkling down like rain, and strawberries adding color to the pretty assortment. I did this several times effectively 'tossing' the salad while getting a small show.

I set the salad down on the marble island. Then hurried to check my chips. I lifted the frier grate and dropped the chips into a plate with a napkin meant to absorb most of the oil. I again set the food onto the island and went to get utensils and plates.

Moving the food already on the table momentarily I placed a silk tablecloth over the marble and place the food back down. I grabbed a candelabra and lit the three candles. I grabbed a small pear-shaped vase and put a single rose inside. Weston placed the plates, napkins, and utensils helping me a lot. He then put a bowl of soup on the table winking at me; he didn't spill any. I smiled back. He then put so delicious sandwiches on the table one on each plate.

I sat opposite of him smiling. He smiled back. Maybe an at-home lunch was just perfect for the two of us. We had spent time together working to create something for the both of us. It was a win-win. We spend time together and work together. Like a dynamic duo.

Weston smiled "Before we eat I want you to put this on."

He lifted up a box from my favorite boutique. Grinning I nodding and dashed off to change.

******

Weston sure knows his way around women as clothes. He had picked out a little lacy black dress that fitted my taste and body physic perfectly!

It was a low neckline, so low it showed my bare shoulders. Then at the waist was a thin gold belt that helps emphasize my small waist. Them the skirt blossomed out elegantly and needed at my knees. I slipped on my black heels. Pulled my hair into a side bun. And looked at the box; I had seen a small glint.

There was a gold necklace with the small outline of a wolf I gasped. It was simply beautiful. I turned it over and realized it had a small inscription on the back.

To Evelyn Love Weston

I smiled. How lucky I was.

Walking back into the kitchen I noticed a drastic change. There were candles everywhere giving a romantic touch, rose petals sprinkled along the floor and Weston in a tux smiling at me.

I teared up. "Oh, Weston... This is beautiful."

He stood up and walked till he was in front of me. Then,

he got down on one knee.

"Evelyn, you are my one and only. Ever since I met you I felt happier. You are my reason to live and you alone. I know when we first met things were rocky. But you stayed and you accepted me and that's more than I am could ever ask for. You are a powerful, strong, beautiful, kind, and phenomenal woman. No one in the world or universe could compare. You are the most enchanting creature I had ever set my eyes on. And I don't plan to take my eyes off you not now, not ever. I will lay down my life to protect you. I'd move mountains, swim oceans, run miles and, and eat beans. And you know I how much I hate that crap." I laughed and nodded, tears pricking my eyes from pure happiness. "My point being, I can't live without you and I'd do anything for you. And I'm so sure that I want to spend my life with you. Evelyn, will you marry me? And make me the happiest man alive?"

He held out his hand and there was a small velvet box opened. Inside the silky interior was a ring. There was a diamond cut to look like a flower with silver leaves rimming the diamond. Then small elegant curved vines entwined the band. I smiled. It was a rose. My favorite.

Now my tears were streaming. A big smile appeared on my face and it felt like it'd never disappear. I nodded and hugged him.

He smiled and kissed me with such passion my knees went weak. He held me to help balance myself and slipped the ring into my left ring finger.

He pulled out the other ring and I put it onto his left ring finger.

I was his forever and he was mine.
