Riley's pov

I was sitting whole night in maximo's room since he was crying non stop .

"I want my mommy!" He cried .

"Shhh max im right here"

He sniffled and i layed next to him in bed and pulled him into my chest and soothed him .

"Do you wanna do something?"

"Can i have oreos and milk?"

"Sure let's go"

I put him on my hip , we walked downstairs and i poured us a glass of milk and took out a bag of oreos .

"Thank you" he dipped his oreo in milk .

"Max do you want me to be your mom?"

"I do but where's my old mom"

"She had to leave so im here to take care of you"

"Okay" he sniffled.

"Are you gonna hit me?" He looked at me with teary eyes.

"I would never , did your old mom hit you?"

He nodded and lifted up his shirt and i saw fading scars on his belly .

"Im so sorry you had to go through that but i promise no one is gonna hit you"

"Thank you" he pulled me in for a hug .

"Wanna head to bed?"

"Okay" i put him back on my hip and we went up to his room and i put him to bed .

"You gonna be okay?"

"Yes mommy" awww

I closed his door and headed back to mine and saw matteo snoring in my bed . Are you kidding me ? This man has a huge ass bed to himself but he has to sleep with me .

I got into bed and matteo immediately put his arms around me .

"Why aren't you in your own room?"

"I can't sleep"

I put my leg on top of his and we cuddled.

"He called me mommy"

"I told you he's gonna warm up to you"

"Yeah" i smiled .

"Morning!" I heard ava yelling and i groaned .

"Ava go to lox" matteo said

"No!"

I opened my eyes and saw ava and max jumping on the bed .

"You are gonna fall" i stopped max from jumping and matteo did the same .

"We wanna go to disney land!" Ava showed us her ipad .

"Now is not a good time to be leaving"

"Papa!" Ava whined.

"Did you sleep okay?" I asked max and he nodded and curled up next to me . I kissed his forehead and went back to listening to ava and matteo agrue over disneyland .

"Let's put it to a vote then"

"Ava" matteo warned .

"We can just take them to disneyland we haven't been out as a family"

"You too?"

"Yeah c'mon lox knows how to handle the mannor when you're gone"

"Okay fine go pack a bag" he grumbled and ava squeled.

"Max let's go" i got out of bed .

"You're leaving me?"

"I have to run him a bath, why don't you do the same for us"

"Okay" he sprung out of bed and went to the bathroom.

I took max to his room and ran him a bath .

"What do you wanna wear?"

He ran to the closet and took out a pair of jeans and a white shirt with some jordans.

"I have the perfect thing" i ran to my room and took out my silver chain that jake gave me and ran back to max's room.

"You can wear this"

"Thank you mom" he smiled.

"You want me to stay?"

"No im fine" he went into the bathroom and closed the door .

I went back to my room and matteo lifted me up as i came into the room.

"Can you put me down?"

"Nope" he went into the bathroom and sat me down on the counter.

I took off my pajamas and jumped off the counter.

"It's healing" he traced my scar and i moved out of his grasp .

I took off my bra and underwear and got into the tub .

"You gonna stand there or?"

He took off his boxers and got into the tub.

"Why did you freeze up?"

"I don't wanna think about my useless belly"

"Riley" he sighed .

"Matteo"

"Do you want me to hire a therapist?"

"That's the last thing i need"

"Then what?"

"I just don't wanna talk about it , we have ava and max"

"But you still want your own baby"

"Yeah who wouldn't?"

"We could get a surrogate?"

"I don't want a woman carrying my baby"

I got back out of the bath .

"Riley?"

"Im gonna use the guest room"

"Don't be mad at me"

"Im not mad i just don't feel like being badgered"

I put a towel around my body and went to the guestroom .
