Riley's pov

After doing yoga i made something to eat and watched friends .

Wow it's really boring without ava .

I heard a bang upstairs and quickly ran and heard another bang coming from my room . I opened my door and saw tatiana looking through my stuff .

"Can i help you?"

"What's this?" She pulled out a letter and i frowned.

"How the hell should i know?"

She opened it and smirked.

"I knew you were up to something"

She pushed past me and i just stood there confused .

I heard my phone ring and saw it was matteo .

"Hey?"

"Oretto how's it going there?"

"Good i guess"

"Guess?"

"Tatiana was snooping in my room and found a letter i didn't write"

"Im gonna call you back"

He ended the call before i could say anything else...

This house is so fucking sus .

I closed my door and fixed what tatiana broke and decided to facetime my mom .

"Hey baby how's italy?"

"Good"

"Okay now what's really going on?"

"This house is so complicated and i don't think i should be here"

"What happened?"

"This lady keeps accusing me of i don't even know what ,i feel like a toddler"

"Ignore her baby you came to do a job and that's what you should focus on"

"Yeah you're right" i nodded.

"Listen I'll call you tonight and then we can talk okay?"

"Okay momma"

I ended the call and changed my clothes and saw it was time for ava to get home .

I walked downstairs and grabbed car keys and walked back out .

"Where the hell are you going?" Tatiana stood at the door arms folded.

Im getting sick of this bitch.

"Im doing my job maybe you should too since you keeping hanging onto your boss's balls"

I got into the car and left a gaping tatiana . In my defense she's been getting at me since the beginning .

I drove to ava's school and picked her up .

"How was it?"

She got into the passenger seat and i buckled her in .

"It was good i missed you"

"I missed you too the house is so boring without you"

"Can we get McDonald's?"

"Uhm yes!"

I went to McDonald's since matteo doesn't want ava in the public ( no idea why?) instead i went through the drive-thru .

I ordered Mcnuggets since i learned ava and i are obessed with it and big mac's obvi.

"You're the best nanny ever" she giggled as i handed her the food .

I drove us home and went and sat by the table and watched cartoons .

When we were done i figured we go hang out by the pool since we were pretty bored . The only friend i have is a 6 year old so yay!

"Can you take a picture of me and send it to my dad?"

"Sure" i smiled and took a picture of her in her bathing suit sitting on a floaty. She's adorable i can't

I sent matteo the picture and put my phone down and got into the pool .

"Riley am still bored"

"It's weird this house is huge and we're still bored"

"I wish daddy was here" she splashed the water sadly .

"I have an idea"

"Yay"

"Let's make cookies and facetime my mom"

"You have a mommy?" She gasped.

I nodded and she looked away .

"Hey what's wrong?" I swimned closer to her .

"I don't have a mommy"

"Aww hunny im so sorry" i hugged her.

Shit i can't believe i upset my 6 year old bestie .

"Can we call my daddy too?"

"Yes ofcourse" we got out of the pool and dryed off .

Ava went to change into dry clothes while i did the same . I heard my phone buzz and i saw a text from matteo .

She's gorgeous, where's yours?"

I raised my brows at the text.

What did you do?"

"Don't leave her alone okay i will call in a hour"

I rolled my eyes at the text and continued to change . I put on a pair of sweats and a oversized shirt .

I walked out and saw ava sitting at the end of the stairs .

"Hey are you okay" i sat next to her and pulled her in for a hug.

"I wanna go to my daddy"

"He will be back in a few days but he said he's gonna call you in a hour"

"Really?"

"Yes now let's go make some cookies"

We went into the kitchen and i pulled out all the things i needed to make the cookies. Luckily tatiana pretty much stayed clear since our last interaction .

I was putting the cookies in the oven while ava was eating the cookie dough when matteo requested a facetime.

"Your dad's calling"

"Yay" she yelled and grabbed the ipad and pressed accept.

"Papa!" Ava yelled .

"principessa mi manchi"

Translation : i miss you so much

"quando torni?"

Translation : when are you coming back

"in un paio di giorni"

Translation :

"papà no"

Translation : daddy no

"mi dispiace principessa"

Translation : Im sorry princess

Ava started to cry . Wow they are really close like extremely close it's make my heartache to see ava cry . This little family is growing on me extremly fast .

"dare il telefono a Riley"

Translation : give the phone to riley

"Okay" she handed me the phone .

"Im gonna fly you and ava out since i have to stay a little longer"

"Wait i thought you were gonna be here by friday?"

"The deal is taking longer"

"What do you even do?"

"It's a story for another time"

"Im gonna fly you out for a day or so okay?"

"Yeah okay" i nodded and handed back the phone to ava .

"bye papà" she kissed the screen .

"Bye principessa" the call disconnected .

Guess we're going to matteo ... sheeeesh .
