It was so beautiful in there it took her breath away and she said, "Austin! This place is amazing!"

"I hoped you would like it," he said, looking away and down at the ground. "I wanted your first time to be really special because you deserve that."

Hearing him say that made her feel guilty and she felt so much pressure to go through with it but there was a nagging voice in the back of her head saying it wasn't the right time.

They walked up to the receptionist and Austin gave his name and told them it was under his Mom's name and that she had already done an online check-in and spoken to the manager and sent them her driver's license. He just needed the keys to the room. They gave him the keys and the certificates for breakfast in the restaurant in the morning and told them to enjoy their stay.

Austin took Jolie's hand and they walked towards the elevator, clicking the button and going inside. They were all alone in there and there was an awkward silence as the elevator rose and she looked down at her shoes and then at her reflection in the silver door. Her heart was starting to pound with anxiety the closer they got to their floor and when the doors opened they stepped out and made it down the long hall to their room.

Austin swiped the keycard and when they opened the door Jolie gasped at the beautiful view that they had out their windows. Since they were the very end corner room they had large glass windows on two of their walls and the city lights below them were just beautiful. There was a large over-sized King bed right in the middle of the room and she noticed as she walked past the bathroom that there was a large Jacuzzi tub.

Austin shut the door behind them and asked "Do you like it?"

Jolie smiled and said, "Austin, I love it. It's amazing."

"Good. I did it all for you, because I wanted tonight to be perfect for you," he said, dropping his duffel bag on the floor and taking a step towards her.

He had done so much to make this night perfect and she felt so guilty for not being excited about what they were planning to do and having cold feet.

He walked up until he was right up against her and looked down at her face and whispered, "What do you want to do Jolie?"

Jolie looked at him and took a deep breath. She thought about her Grandma's advice to wait until they were both deeply in love and she also remembered Mandy's warning and the way she felt at the doctor's office, like it was too soon.

She exhaled deeply and said, "I thought about what you said earlier, about not wanting to rush me if I'm not ready," she said quietly, looking down at her hands.

"Yeah?" he asked.

A tear ran down her cheek and she looked up into his eyes and paused for a moment before saying, "I know you've been so excited about tonight and you did so much to make it so perfect for me for my first time. You spent all this money on this fancy hotel. I feel really bad backing out of it but," she said taking a deep breath and letting it out, "I just don't know. It doesn't feel right. Will you be really disappointed in me if I'm not ready Austin?"

She looked up and studied his face, looking for any sign of anger or disappointment but she didn't see any. He stepped forward and wrapped his arms around her and said, "Of course not Jolie. I meant what I said earlier. There's no pressure and if you want to just cuddle and watch a movie and spend the night together talking we can."

She looked up into his eyes and felt so guilty. "You promise you won't be disappointed? You're not just saying that?"

He smiled down at her and brushed her hair away from her face and leaned in, giving her a soft kiss.

"I promise. I seriously won't be disappointed in you. You know we're going to Harvard together and we'll be sharing an apartment. There's no rush for us to sleep together. You're not just some high school girlfriend that I'm trying to get into bed. I love you Jolie and you're wife material. I'm in this for the long haul with you."

Hearing him say that made her eyes start to water and she said, "Thank you for being so understanding about this Austin. I was so afraid you'd be really mad and break up with me."

He furrowed his eyebrows at her, "What kind of jerk do you think I am Jolie? I thought you knew me better than that."

"I don't think you're a jerk at all Austin. I just know you're a teenage guy and all teenage guys are focused on one thing it seems like, especially at our high school. Remember the virginity website?" she laughed.

He laughed and said, "I'm not like those guys that made that website and made bets on it. I guess I'm more evolved. I'm not a Neanderthal," he laughed. "Not that I don't want to sleep with you when you're ready but that's not my main focus. I love you and I don't want you to feel pressured to do anything you're not ready for. You're worth the wait."

"Thank you Austin," she said softly looking up into his eyes. "How did I get so lucky to have you as a boyfriend again?"

"You're wrong. I'm the lucky one," he said stepping forward and wrapping his arms around her and pulling her against him for a kiss. Then he hugged her and she laid her head against his chest and exhaled.

"I love you," she whispered.

"I love you too," he said, leaning down and kissing the top of her head.

He stepped back and let go of her and said, "Ok. I'm ready to get out of this suit. I'm going to go in the bathroom and change into some pajamas and we can watch a movie ..... but NOT the freakin' Notebook," he laughed. "That movie sucks."

"Hey! That's my favorite movie!"

"Well, when we live together at Harvard I'm going to have to introduce you to some MUCH better movies than that. We need to expand your movie list away from rom-coms and chick flicks."

She picked up a pillow off the bed and hit him with it.

"Hey! There's NOTHING wrong with rom-coms and chick flicks mister!"

"Okay," he said sarcastically, rolling his eyes and then picking up a pillow and throwing it across the room at her, hitting her right in the face.

"Hey! That's not fair. You're a quarterback and you have better aim than me!" she squealed, jumping on the bed and grabbing another pillow and launching it at him but he easily ducked.

"It's not my fault you suck at pillow fights. You're the one that started it," he laughed, launching another pillow towards her and hitting her in the face again. She flopped over on the bed laughing and he laid next to her laughing too.

He rolled up on his side with a smile on his face and she rolled up on her side too facing him. He had a smile, as he laid there catching his breath and laughing a little, looking into her eyes.

"I love you Jolie," he said, with a smile.

"I love you too Austin," she said smiling back.

He leaned forward and laid his hand on her waist and gave her a soft kiss and said, "I'm going to go get my pajamas on."

A few minutes later he emerged from the bathroom wearing only his boxer shorts.

"I thought you were getting on pajamas?" she laughed.

"Yeah well, this is what I always sleep in. I don't think I even own pajamas," he laughed.

She laughed and shook her head before going into the bathroom and putting on the pajama shorts and tank top she had brought. Then she climbed in bed and snuggled against Austin as they found a movie they could both agree on and she laid her head on his bare chest and exhaled deeply. Tonight hadn't gone how they had planned but it still turned out to be a great night.

They stayed up late watching movies and talking and he made her laugh and smile the entire time. Knowing that he was okay with waiting for her to be ready just made her fall in love with him even more.
