《Him & I (Queen Shadow #1)》Chapter 6 (EDITED)

I was in my room getting ready for my fighting lessons today, my outfit is a baby blue pair of workout leggings and a black v neck shirt. Putting my hair in a high messy ponytail, sitting on the edge of my newly made bed. I started putting on my running shoes. I let out a puff of air and flung myself back onto my bed I didn't want to do this because if I did, I knew it would be one step closer to figuring all this out even if I didn't want to know.
I slowly sat up and got to my feet, walking out of my room and into the hallway. I looked at my phone and realised that I was late to the training session. So, I took off running down the halls to try and find the gym. After 5 minutes I finally found the gym and it is huge there are treadmills and exercise bikes lined up against the white walls and weights were positioned in the far back corner, and the back wall instead of having plain walls, there was huge windows so you could see directly outside.
I was in awe of my surroundings; until my little bubble was busted by a voice booming threw the gym.
"Your Late Isabella" the voice startled me, and it was the last person I wanted to see right now.
"Sorry Uncle Jeremy" I said quietly.
"First rule speak up, you need to stop being such a pushover Isabella" he demanded, his words hurt me, sure I was quiet and shy but I wasn't a pushover, am I?
"Secondly when you're in this gym listen and follow my rules understand there is no saying no, its yes" he said before he started pacing around the gym back and forth like he did last night in Bills office.
"For example, if I say do one hundred push ups, its yes, understood" he said the authority laced his voice. I nodded my head in reply to him.
"Isabella words" he yelled which made me jump.
"Yes, Uncle Jeremy" I shakily said to him.
"Good remember your words" he said back to his normal voice.
"Thirdly Rule, well not really a rule it's up to you, there is no nice way to put this, so I'm just going to say it, Confidence Isabella, You're a smart, smart girl and could be someone very powerful, but like I said your choice" he said to me. I nodded my head at him, but after a few seconds I realized what I had did and replied with a yes Uncle as quick as I could.

He motioned me over to the yoga mats that were laid out near all the weights.
"Right first things first stretching, the last thing we need is for you to pull a muscle" he said sarcastically, what is his problem? he completely ignored the whole incident last night and now he is just being horrible.
"Well, what are you waiting for?" he questioned raising an eyebrow. I quickly walked over to the mat and started doing the stretches that Jeremy was instructing me do, it started to annoy me because instead of every time I did something wrong, instead of showing me, he yelled at me instead. I have been known to be a very sensitive person, so all the yelling and his harsh tone did no good for me. After round twenty minutes of doing stretches we moved on to the treadmills.
"Ok Bella every morning except weekends you are going to come to the gym and do those stretches and run on the treadmill for an hour no excuses you will also do a basic workout routine to help build muscles" he stated giving no room for argument.
"Yes Jeremy" I said knowing if I did not, I would get yelled at again.
"Good now get to it" he said before walking off to the benches I started running and before I knew it the gym session was over I had did weights until I felt my whole body was going to go to pieces, I learnt my workout routine that was made up of sit ups, planks, squats, balance exercise the basic type of stuff.
"You were alright could have been better" Jeremy said, and he couldn't have chosen a worse time to tell me because I was tired, hungry, sweaty and overall hurt.
"What is your problem? I said I was sorry for what I did, it was wrong, but you don't have to treat me the way you do" I said to him trying to project my voice to seem a little more tough. He turned around to face me and his face was so blank it scared me quite a lot.
"What did you say to me Isabella?" his voice was laced with a scary tone, little shivers ran up my spine form the tone of his voice, before standing up straight and holding my posture the best I could.

"You heard me I said I was sorry, what else could I possibly do?" I said to him
"Your right Bella, I'm sorry I don't have great experience with people that snoop and don't handle it well, but you have to understand to that I can't be easy on you when I'm training you" he sighed.
"I understand where you're coming from but your acting like I'm actually going to fight someone" I laughed at the thought of me actually hitting someone.
"Bella you never know, you're a smart girl" he said I sighed and walked out of the gym. Everyone keeps saying I'm a smart girl, which I like to think I am but that doesn't mean I like to face the facts and the truth.
I went for a shower and got on some casual clothes seeing it was only mid-day. My outfit was a baby pink skirt and a white spaghetti strap singlet and some sneakers.
I sat down at my desk and opened up my computer and notebooks and started my schoolwork. My uncle had told me that they would prefer me to do home school. I agreed I found it better for me as well as you know I don't have the best experience with school so who was I to say no to such a great opportunity.
JEREMY POV
"How's she going" Bill asked from asked across the office table. I was lent back in the chair, in front of Bills desk thinking of her first lesson. She is good but she doesn't have the fight in her I know she said she doesn't want to learn but she has to for many reasons. One, she lets people walk all over her which I guess is partly Cindy and Lucas's fault they destroyed that girl's confidence and made her into what she is today.
Two, if anything happens and we are not there, she needs to know how to defend herself in the back of her mind she knows what we are, but she is just choosing not to face it which is in away smart, but fate is fate.
Three, that girl has a spark of dominance in her you can tell by the way she reacts to somethings that can easily be overlooked but to some it dosen't go unnoticed. If she were to embrace this dominance, she would be an amazing leader, but I know that he would never allow that to happen to her.
"She is good but needs motivation..." I was just about to bring up the whole leader idea before Bill cut me off.
"Don't bring this conversation up, he would go crazy if we ever put her in immediate danger and you know it, I see it to the fire that she has but she is too soft and caring the men here would chew her up and spit her out" Bill said to me making my idea go out of the window and ignored once again.
"Fine just think about it" I said to him.
"But she has potential that could take her to big places Bill" I said to him trying to exaggerate what I'm trying to do is best for her.
"Jeremy you see what we do, Bella is soft hearted she wouldn't be able to do what we do, the images alone would haunt her, let alone the experience, what we do is a bad thing let's face it, it's messed up shit, and if I weren't born into this then I wouldn't be here, in fact I would be the farthest away from all this" he said to me he had a point, ok a lot more than a point but he isn't the one that should make that decision for her it's her life.
"Look, let's just keep her out of this, you have to be out of your mind to put her in this life especially seeing we don't want to be here either if we had the choice" I could instantly tell by the tone in his voice, that it was the end of the discussion unfortunately, I have no reign over him because him being the oldest it means he is in charge.
"Ok, well then I will let you know how tomorrow goes" I said getting up and walking to my office.
I guess all I can do is let fate work its magic and wait and see what happens.
