(Y/N)'s P.O.V
A dull throbbing in my head woke me up, prompting me to lift my head up. My vision was blurry and I tried to rub my eyes. Keyword tried. I looked down to notice that I was tied up to a chair. Panicking, I shook violently trying to free myself, the rope beginning to dig into my skin, but that wasn't what stopped me. Me falling over and landing on my face is what did.
I groaned and lifted my face off the dirty floor. Still struggling, I looked around at the room, trying to figure out where I was. It was pretty much dark, with only a dim light on the far end of the small windowless room. The walls were painted white but they desperately needed to be repainted because of the various places where the paint was chipped off. A metallic scent made mixed along with dirt made it 10x worse. There was only one door on the opposite end from where I was. Other than that, the room was completely empty.
I suddenly heard footsteps coming toward the door. Alright (Y/N), don't panic. All these self defense classes you took are now going to pay off. As soon as you see an opportunity to escape you take it. I quickly closed my eyes and pretended to still be passed out. The door opened and I heard the footsteps come in and stop a few feet away from me. I slowed down my breathing and listened. The footsteps began to walk around and I heard them go behind me.
The ropes around my legs were untied along with the ones on my hands. Muscular hands picked me up and threw me over their shoulders. I opened my eyes and noticed it was a male with blond hair who smelled like cigarettes. Connected to his back pocket though was a set of keys. I slowly moved my hands so I wouldn't alarm the person. I unclipped the keys and gave myself a mental pat on the back. Now to escape this guy.

I quickly swung my foot right into the man's crotch and he quickly dropped me.
"Ahhhh fucking hell" The man groaned out before looking at me. I stood up straight making sure to secure the keys, and came closer to the man.
"Surprise" I said before delivering a punch to the man's temple, knocking him out instantly. The man lay limp and I looked around. It was also a dimly lit hallway with various doors. I opened a random one up the key and dragged the guy in there, making sure to lock it. I began to quietly run (lol is that possible) in the direction the man was heading in. The hallway led to some stairs and I quickly dashed up them. Suddenly I heard some voices.
"Why is Bard taking so long? Do you think he is having trouble with the girl?" A slightly girly male voice asked. At this I froze and looked around trying to find somewhere to hide.
"I think so. Maybe we should go help him, yes we should." A nasally female voice said before footsteps began to get closer. I opened a door which seemed to be a closet and jumped in, closing the door a little bit too loud. The footsteps then stopped.
"Finny, did you hear that?" The female voice said. I covered my mouth and got closer the wall, trying to make myself less visible.
"Hear what?" The male voice asked.
"Perhaps it was my imagination yes it must." She assured before resuming to walk. I internally sighed and opened the door after I was sure they were far enough.
Oh shit I have to find my way out quick, they're gonna find their friend unconscious and me missing! I walked a bit farther and reached what seemed to be the door leading out this basement. I came out and was met with a hallway that made it seem that I was in the actual house now. I closed the basement door and locked it to get some extra time.

The hallway was much nicer up here and was littered with paintings. I stared in awe for a few seconds before snapping out of my daze. I had to hurry and get out. I slowly creeped into a large room which seemed to be a dining room, but that's not what was important. What was important was that there was a window. A WINDOW TO FREEDOM.
I began to run across the large fancy dining room and made it across opening the window swiftly. I looked out and noticed that it wasn't that far from the ground. I put both legs out the window and sat on the windowsill. I closed my eyes and let myself fall out.
Except I never made contact with the ground..
A pair of slender arms snaked around my waist and pulled me back inside. I gasped and struggled against the person.
"LET ME GO! I WAS THIS CLOSE TO GETTING OUT!" I yelled as I struggled to slip away.
"Calm down there. You are a guest afterall." A velvety smooth voice said. The same voice of the person who knocked me out. I slowly turned my head around and was met with the same red eyes and raven hair.
"YOU SHIT! YOU BROUGHT ME HERE?!!WHAT DO YOU WANT?!" I exclaimed with rage filling my eyes. The man ignored my question and tied me up so fast I couldn't even process what happened. He picked me up with a fake smile on his face, "All questions will be answered when you meet the leader." was all he said before stuffing a piece of cloth in my mouth and throwing me over his shoulder. He walked many flights of stairs and down a couple of hallways before he stopped in front of a door.
The mahogany door was decorated with golden and silver leaves. Though what stood out was the very detailed crest of a dog. The letters GD were written in bold cursive right at the top. Three knocks brought me out of my daze and a strong "come in" was heard from the other side. The man opened the door swiftly and walked in. I, still not being able to see in front of me, was very surprised when I was suddenly untied. I slowly looked up and was met with the piercing gaze of another man.
"Welcome, Miss Avianna, to the Guard Dog syndicate."
