Evander~
After doing all the feats to close the door and getting successful in it. I carried Archie towards my car and buckled him up in his baby seat. Today he's going to his father's office.
I drove towards my office extra carefully avoiding bumps while Archie was interestingly watching the cars and vehicles on the road. I think he loves vehicles. I parked my car and unbuckled him, I asked my assistant to come down to parking lot to fetch my bags, so that I can carry My son without any problem.
I carried Archie towards my office and all my employees were looking at me curiously wondering who the cutie pie in my arms was. Archie seemed to be enjoying the attention he was getting. He was smiling at everyone.
"Hello everyone." I said loudly and everyone looked in my direction stopping their silent whispers.
"I want you all to meet my Son, Archer Damien Arlette." I said proudly and loud gasps and aww's were heard followed by muffled whispers.
"Get on to the work now." I said sternly in my business voice and walked towards my cabin with my son.
"Hey buddy, hope you like my office." I said placing Archie on the carpet and placing toys around him.
He giggled clapping his hands happily trying to keep his toy in his mouth.
"No, don't do that." I said taking the toy away from his hands and he looked at me like he was going to cry.
"No, no.. Don't cry. Here take this but don't keep it in your mouth." I said giving back the toy to Archie and he smiled happily.
"You are such a cutie like your mother." I said poking his chubby cheeks and taking out mobile to call Violet.
The call went to voice mail, I think she's still in the meeting.
"Okay buddy, Have fun while I check and sign a few files." I said walking back to my desk to check on few files while keeping an eye on Archie.
After checking out the files and signing them, I glanced at my watch it read half past eleven, time to feed Archie .
I lifted him off the floor and placed him on the sofa while I began to take out his food and milk from his baby bag, I prepared this morning.
He ate his food happily without making fuss, since I made sweetcorn sandwich for him. See, my son likes the food cooked by me. I wiped his face with wet tissue and changed his diaper. Yes, I am a good father.

I spread my legs on the coffee table and began to prepare a presentation placing Archie on my laps. He was curiously looking at the laptop screen playing with my tie and trying to catch the words with another hand. He left a frustrated sigh as he failed to catch the cursor, which made me laugh. We both played with his toys and I gave him a piggy back ride in my cabin and soon he fell asleep in my arms as I gently patted his to sleep.
The knock on the door made Archie stir in his sleep but thankfully he didn't wake up.
My assistant Reena came inside.
"Sir, the clients have arrived and was waiting in the presentation room for the meeting." Reena said in a low voice.
"Okay, I will be there in a few minutes." I said and she nodded to go out, "and Reena from the next time knock the door softly or just ring me up, I don't want anyone to disturb my son's sleep." I said strictly and she nodded meekly.
I have a meeting to attend and finalize a deal in 5 minutes, where as Archie was sleeping in my arms. I don't have a heart to wake him up, I tried to place him on the sofa but that almost made him wake up. Being a parent is not so easy.
With no other way, I carried Archie with me to the presentation room after strapping him the kangaroo bag, that my assistant brought. When I entered the room with my sleeping baby, the clients and my assistants looked at me in surprise.
"Hello, Mr. Brown. Nice to meet you again." I said shaking hand with Mr. Brown, a elderly man in his late sixties, with whom I have to finalize the deal with.
"Nice to meet you to Mr. Arlette." He said shaking my hand and looking at my sleeping son.
"He's my son, Archer Arlette." I said pointing towards a sleeping Archie.
"Oh, he's cute." He said smiling.
"Thank you, let's begin the presentation." I said turning towards my laptop and connecting it to the projector.
I began to explain the presentation to the clients all the while carrying a sleeping Archie, trying not to disturb him.
"That was an excellent presentation, Mr. Arlette." Mr. Brown said in appreciation. "I wish I could applaud for your brilliant presentation but I don't want to disturb your son's sleep." He said.

"Thank you, Mr. Brown, I am glad that you liked the presentation."
"We will sign the contract tomorrow." He said and went with his secretary.
Finally the presentation is over and I don't have any meetings for the day, so I thought to visit, Violet in her office.
I entered Violet's cabin along with Archie, Violet was typing something in her laptop, her brows furrowed, looking hot even in her office wear. She didn't notice us.
"Hey Baby." I said gaining Violet's attention while Archie bounced in my arms happily seeing his mother.
"Hi boys." Violet smiled brightly coming towards us.
Archie jumped into his mother's arms, poor guy must have missed his mom.
"I missed you too, my cupcake." Violet cooed kissing his cheeks soundly.
"No kiss for me?" I teased.
"Shut up." Violet blushed carrying Archie towards the coach.
"What? Didn't you miss me? " I asked sitting beside her.
"No." She said turning away.
"Liar." I accused, "If you say lies what are you gonna teach our son? Tell me the truth, didn't you miss me? " I asked raising my brow.
"Yes, I missed my boys." Violet huffed.
"Then where is my kiss?" I asked showing my cheek and tapping it with my finger. "Come on, give me my kiss or I will take it."
Violet placed a chaste kiss on my cheeks and turned away blushing.
"Aww... I missed you." I said pulling her towards me by wrapping my arms around her shoulder and kissing in her hairs.
"Did Archie trouble you? " Violet asked laying her head on my shoulder, leaning against my chest, playing with Archie's little fingers.
"No, he had been a good boy to Papa. Besides I am a good father, who knows how to handle kids." I boasted proudly.
"Great, did you give him bath?" Violet enquired.
"Yes."
"Diaper? "
"Check."
"Milk?"
"Warm."
"Food? "
"Corn Sandwich."
"What? " Violet shouted making Archie jump. "You fed my baby a corn sandwich!" Violet asked angrily.
"First of all, He's our baby and Yes, I fed him a Sandwich, you should have seen, how happily he ate a sandwich without making any fuss, Isn't it Buddy?" I cooed.
"Evan, How can you feed Corn Sandwich to a one year old baby!" Violet yelled.
"Why are you shouting, Vi." I asked confused, "In fact I was thinking to talk to you about ordering a little Pizza for Archie."
"You are mad, did you hit your head anywhere. Who feeds Corn Sandwich and Pizzas to a one year old baby." Violet said frantically throwing her hands in air.
"It's my fault to leave my baby with you." She ranted.
"Hey, I took a very good care of him and why are you getting furious." I questioned.
"Evander Arlette, you are not supposed to feed Corn Sandwiches to a one year old baby! It's not good to give corn to kids, it can cause stomach ache, since they can't chew it properly." Violet explained still angry.
"Baby, calm down. I am not a careless person, in fact I prepared that Sandwich for him with all healthy and easily digestible foods, I made corn puree. So, don't worry." I said placing my hands on Violet's shoulder and she seemed to be cooled down a bit.
"You know that baby food tastes awful, right? " I said making a face.
"Yes, I know, I tasted it once." Violet said getting back to her previous position.
"Archie's not liking that baby food, that's why he's making fuss to eat, so I fed him some sandwiches he ate them happily and his tummy is full."
"I know, Evan. He hates that baby food but it's healthy."
"It's okay baby, we can consult a pediatrician and ask for a diet chart for our baby, see, he is one year old and we should try to feed him some normal foods." I tried to explain Violet.
"I don't know, Evan. Since Archie, my mom was there to guide me and now that she's away I am confused." She sighed.
"Don't worry, Baby. I got your back, together we can figure out what's good for our baby." I said hugging Violet and she layed her head on my chest hugging me back.
"Please, don't scare me like this by feeding restricted foods to our son." Violet mumbled closing her eyes.
"Okay, I will not feed him anything without your permission." I said and Archie scrunched his face, "And I am going to fix an appointment with Pediatrician tomorrow to prepare Archie a new diet chart." I said winking at my son.
