I frowned as Amethyst stood in front of my mate and me. I growled at her and her red painted lips immediately turned into a scowl.

"What are you doing here? We broke up."

I said pulling Leon close to my side. I did not want this bitch to try something. She was a snake in disguise.

"You were serious about that? Is this the bitch?"

She said looking at my mate then bursting out laughing. My mate frowned at her and I growled stepping forward, but his little hands pulled me back.

"He is a child!"

She said, eyes flashing bright purple. Usually that turned me on, and I was putty in her hands but now I felt nothing. Her eyes widened and my mates' hand fisted.

Before I knew it, she flew into a wall behind her. She almost knocked down an expensive picture and I looked at my mate in pure shock.

"What! She tried to use compulsion on you!"

He said frowning. My eyes widened, was that what the purple eyes meant? She used her magic on me every time she did that. Holy shit...

My mate muttered something as Amethyst stood up and before we knew it all her hair started falling out. I laughed and she screamed and grabbed her head. She looked at my mate who smiled.

"Bald as a baby. Now who's the child?"

He said with a slick smile. I could not help chuckling at him and looking at him fondly. She looked at me and gasped.

"You are going to let him do this?!"

She all but shrieked. I shrugged.

"You tried to use magic on me, something you did throughout our entire relationship. It is making me question if I ever actually liked you or it was your magic. Now get out of my house and come back."

She looked at my mate and scowled.

"This is not fucking over!"

She stormed off holding her hair to her head. My mate closed the door behind her and looked over at me.

"I cannot believe you dated ."

I cringed and smiled at my amazing little baby. He was smart and clever, and I was just falling in love every minuet with him.

"Come let us meet the pack chefs."

I said grabbing him and walking over to the kitchen. He was gasping and oohing at everything. He loved the classic decorations and how classy the place looked. When we made it to the kitchen, he loved how all the appliances were the most recent model and that the kitchen matched the house perfectly. Four chefs were making dinner in the large kitchen.

"Hello everyone!"

They all stopped what they were doing to greet me. It was two chefs and their assistants in training, who were chefs.

"Hello Alpha, nice to see you again! How was your mating vacation?"

Asked the oldest chef here. She had been cooking since I was a pup and was retiring soon. She was around 413 and looked only around fifty. She was beautiful with smile lines, bright blue eyes, curly blond locks, and a great personality. Her name was Alice. She was a kind lady and an amazing mother. She was ironically my beta's grandmother.

"Hello Alice! Nice to see you again as well, this is my mate Leon."

I said pulling Leon too me. She squealed and grabbed his cheeks.

"You're so cute! Ahh you better make my boy happy!"

She said petting his head fondly. He blushed and I chuckled pulling him to me.

"He is making me incredibly happy. Don't worry he's a perfect mate."

Leon's blush just got redder and I smiled even bigger. Alice introduced us her assistant Cassandra who was a student at our school. She was a senior and planner in working her at the pack for us. She always wanted to be a chef. I introduced him to the rest of everybody and then left them to finish the rest of catering. They cooked a lot of food and I was just ready to eat.

I went to the exceptionally large backyard and saw mostly everyone was here. We still had fifteen minutes until dinner, so I decided to make the announcement now. I grabbed Leon's hand, nodded at him, and pulled him up stage with me.

A microphone was already set up for me, which I thanked my pack for silently.

"Hello everyone! May I please have all of your attention?"

I said making the sound stop instantly. Everyone looked at me and nothing was heard. I smiled at part of my pack.

"I wanted to start off by thanking everyone for joining me tonight. I called all of you here to introduce my mate Leon. He is soon to be your Luna and has been my mate for the last two weeks. It has been an amazing and wonderful two weeks with him, and I know he will do the pack well. He has everything I need in a Luna, leadership, courage, strength, skill, and smarts. I promise each one of you with us and your help our pack will thrive and be as amazing as it always has been. Thank you!"

Cheers were heard and sounds of pictures were being taken, for the pack website. I was shocked when Leon went up to the microphone. I thought he would have been too shy.

"Hello everyone."

He started out in his posh and cute accent.

"My name is Leon, and I am your soon to be Luna. I just wanted to say what an honor it is for me to be leading this pack in the soon future. I promise to be the best Luna I can. I will make sure this pack thrives and works its way into the future successful. I know we will all be successful and that we will show as an example for every other pack. I want us to be a family and come together, work together. Now I hope you will have me here tonight in a happy tone. Again, I am grateful for everything this pack has already given me, and now I soon hope I can show you how grateful I am to be future Luna and make progress here. Thank you!"

More cheers were heard, and more pictures were taken. I smiled at my amazing mate and we walked off stage and sat at the giant dinner tables set up by ranks. I sat at the table with my beta and gamma and head warriors.

"That was so good!"

Said Samuel clapping as we sat down. My mate smiled and thanked him.

"That really was good love, I'm proud of you and promise to show you how proud I am when we get home."

I said nipping his ear and kissing me. He moaned softly into the kiss but then pull away embarrassed. I laughed and was happy when bowls were set down at the table for us by omegas who were helping the chefs. After we would eat, we would all have a little party and then go home. It was a work week so I know this would not go on for long. Only until 9-10.

I smiled and served myself and my mate and then waited until everyone else was served to begin eating.

Life was great and I was at the happiest I have ever been.
