;I'm yours, no refunds
Since moving from NY to Miami I was hit with the hardest wall of writers block I've ever experienced in my life.
I've been unable to write anything for months, and anything I did write wasn't worth the paper it was wrote on, never mind the cramping from the hitting the keyboard - but something about last night opened a flow of new ideas, plot twists, fascinating storylines, fresh faces and wonderful personalities.
I've been home for about an hour and the girls were still in their classes, thankfully, I had zero to attend today since my professor in Lit was on maternity leave, and no one to stand in for her. Although she left us a unholy amount of work to make sure we do over the christmas break, I was already well ahead with one essay left to write.
So after a hot shower to sooth my aching limbs, I threw on a pair of fitted grey Nike sweats and a white bandu, topping it off with an opened grey, white and black plaid shirt. I didn't see the need in getting dressed up to sit in Maddox's fuck club - oops, sorry, I mean my writers domain -- as he likes to call it.
Before I had the chance to escape and use my new found ideas to put into finishing my book, Steph burst through the door. Her heels clacking against the hardwood floor of our apartment, the sound dimming when her feet hit the white rug we had laid out in the open living space.
"Tee? Hannah?" She called out.
I roll my eyes knowing I was going to get bombarded with where were you last night questions.
"In here!" I called back from my bedroom, door wide open.
It took that blondie all but ten seconds to register it was me and dash through my open bedroom door. Wide eyed and giddy.
Here we go..
"Tee! Where the hell were you last night, you dirty stop out!" She gushed excitedly, flopping down stomach first on my bed beside me.
Heat rose up on my cheeks at the thought of spending my first night with Baller King of FIU.
Before I had a chance to reply she boomed out with, "with Maddox! Ohmigosh!" grabbing my arm and yanking me down with her.
I fell on my back next to her. "How the hell did you get Maddox from no reply?" I quizzed, raising a brow.
"Because you're so eerily silent when it comes to him, and if it wasn't because you were with him, you'd of answered straight away." She smirked, propping her head up with her palm.
The girls observant, I'll give her that.
"Hm." I hummed, suspiciously.
"Well!?" she prompted, a cheeky twinkle in her blue eyes. "You gonna make me drag it outta you, or what?"
I smirked, turning my head to the side to face her. "I was with Maddox." I admitted.
I didn't see a point in lying to her, all the boys had already seen me leave his bedroom wearing his t shirt, and those guys were more gossip ridden than the real housewives of NYC - people were bound to find out.
Besides, I trust Steph - she was someone I considered a close friend.

"And?" she coaxed.
"And, we may or may not have slept together." I continued, somewhat bashfully - hell, extremely bashfully - as I returned her ear reaching grin.
Without warning she pounced up to her knees, bouncing beside me.
My body jiggling up and down from her dipping the bed, squealing with child like excitement. "You and Maddox! OH MY GAWD!"
I couldn't help but giggle along with her, the joy she was radiating was contagious.
"I know!" I chirped back.
She bounced up and flopped back down on her ass, slender hands resting on my stomach. "You have to tell me everything!!"
I playfully rolled my eyes before filling Steph in on everything that occurred the day before - from finding out he warned Wyatt Mckenna to stay away from me, to storming his bedroom to yell at him, to then being all consumed by the charming baller I couldn't bring myself to hate - I didn't forget to mention the midnight talks in between naps we shared.
I gushed and blushed at the mere memory we made last night, and even though it started from an argument, I wouldn't dream of changing it - everything about it screamed me and Maddox. The fight, the passion, the thin line between love and hate - it was all us.
"Oh fuck, so are you like, in love with him?" she asked, curiosity and sincerity splashed her features.
It took me a beat to reply - mulling over my thoughts and trying my hardest to find the right words.
Was I in love with Maddox Hunter?
Did the night mean more to me than it did to him?
But his words.. It can't just be me, right?
I took in a deep breath, and spoke while exhaling, "I'm not in love with him, but I'm not, not in love with him. I could see myself falling though." I confessed, dropping my head back against the stack of cloud like pillows, "as much as he angers me, he also gives me butterfly volcanoes, and as much as we argue, we're connecting by so much passion and need," letting out a sigh, "I guess we'll just have to see."
"Sounds like falling in love to me, Tee." she replies in a low, soft tone. "And I'll be honest, I've never seen Maddox be with anyone like he is you. The way he looks at you, the smile when he's around you - it's crazy shit, but I think you two are cute together. You're not the type of girl to take shit, and he's the kinda guy that needs putting in his place now and again."
I roll my neck from left to right, my brain feeling ten times heavier. "Maybe." I responded wistfully.

Steph finally let me go, but not before she roped me into going shopping with her tomorrow, along with Hannah and Sally.
To be frank, it didn't take a whole lot of convincing, since me and Maddox had spent the night together, and we were all going to be spending christmas break at my Nan's penthouse, I felt retail therapy would be a good excuse to treat myself - and Baller - to some new, pretty lingerie.

Finishing another chapter gave me a whole new sense of pride - it was the third one tonight I've completed and was super excited about.
My fingertips tingling as the numbness began to wear off, I couldn't stop myself from tapping away, losing myself in the alternative reality I've created, my characters personalities brimming to life, falling in love and escaping together - my heart swelled.
I hadn't realised how long I've been up on this rooftop - the sun had now disappeared, giving the moon the spotlight, silver dots scattered round, sparkling like a wealthy woman's diamond necklace.
Taking my flask of - now - lukewarm coffee, I leaned against the door frame of the small room, neck craned slightly taking in the navy night sky, a soft breeze blowing my stray pieces of hair across my face - I feel content, and peaceful.
Being so high up the noise from the bustling campus below was merely louder than the winter breeze grazing my ear.
A comfortable silence - that is until my phone began ringing.
Digging it out the pocket of my sweats pocket, I saw it was a Facetime from Maddox - answering with a small smile.
"Hey, beautiful." He greets me, a sexy crooked smirk on his full lips.
The night sky being his only background, the faint lights of street lamps glowing in the background. He's shirtless, dark hair a sweaty damp mess, tussled to the side, baby browns twinkling under the artificial lights.
"Hey, miss me already?" I teased, smirking down a the camera.
I can hear the sound of the basketball bouncing against the smooth concrete of the court, deep male voices taunting each other and howls of laughter filling the night air - he was at a nearby park playing with the guys - making a day out of it adding a few drinks to the mix too.
His chocolate swirls look glossy as he stares at me through the screen, the way he's connecting has my stomach flipping.
"I missed you as soon as you left me this morning." He winked, fluttering his long, dark lashes.
I flick my eyes to the navy sky. "I'm so sure."
I can see his head moving around the screen with his eyes, like he's trying to look around me. "Where are ya?"
I flip the camera round and show him the view from the rooftop, the bright lights of campus life looking miniscule below me, I watch as his cheeks bunch up and his eyes narrow -
"You actually went?" His voice was in awe.
I flip the camera back around, smiling down at him, I nod. "Mhm. And you'll be glad to know I kicked writers blocks ass."
A low, throaty chuckle escapes his lips as he takes a seat on a bench, the metal fence and the navy sky being his only background.
"I told ya you could do it." he gloats. "and I suppose my little writers domain helped, mhm?"
I playfully roll my eyes at him, a bright, cheek aching smile on my face, "you mean my writers domain, your fuck club." I shot back.
"Hardly a fuck club when I haven't bent you over in it yet. Until that days comes, quit calling it that. Okay?" he lightly chastised. "Now, tell me how your books coming then I can get back to the reason I called."
Ooo, ever the boss.
I liked it.
"I got three chapters finished, an amazing plot twist and I have you to thank for it." I informed him, my tone light and airy.
He raises a dark brow, "Oh yeah? That so, huh? I think we should celebrate with another sleepover."
"Oh, is that so ?" I teased. "maybe, if you're lucky."
He chuckles, dropping his head back, his tongue darting out to wet his plush lips, "baby, I'm so fucking lucky - look who I'm sleeping with." jilting his forehead towards me.
Oh fuck.
Yup, deffo falling.
I feel the heat rising up my cheeks, my smile hard to hide as I glance away from the camera, the pink flushing my face is extremely evident.
"Keep blushing like that, Bella. I'll have to leave these jackoffs stranded so I can race home to you." he shot me a cheeky grin, "but you'd like that, wouldn't ya?"
I nod, feeling kinda smug, "Mhm. Race home to me, Baller. I'll make it worth the backlash you'll get from 'em."
"Mmm, I bet you will."
"So, the reason you called?" I mused, wondering how the fuck we got side tracked.
He shakes his head, looking up at someone, a deep voice talking to him - Cammy, I think - asking who he's talking too.
Maddox's masculine throat strained as he holds his phone low, his defined jaw taking up the screen.
"Bella." He answers Cammy, then nods as he says something else. "I'm asking her now, relax, bro." then he nods again.
Turning his attention back to me, "asking me what?" I question, turning back into the small room and dropping on the hammock, gently swinging backwards and forwards.
"Cammy's calling in his order, wanted to know if you'd make us some food for when we get back - but baby, you can say no, y'know."
I bob my head side to side, lips twisting in the corner. It was already getting late, but on the other hand I could eat too, and since I'd already be there I could give Maddox his sleepover.
"What are ya's fancying?" I ask.
I can see his bare shoulder popping nonchalantly. "you choose, you haven't let us down yet so don't see why you would tonight, plus, if you're already at the house, you can stay with me tonight, hmm?"
I groan, dropping my head back against the swinging bed, "fine, I'll head over to Walmart now and grab some things. But I need to go home first, I'm shopping with the girls tomorrow so I'll have to leave straight from yours in the morning."
I can hear Cammy and Jason cheering in the background, occupying Maddox's attention for a split second while he tells them to shut the fuck up, my girlfriend isn't your personal chef.
"Girlfriend, huh?" I teased, raising a brow.
"Yes, baby. Girlfriend. Get your sexy ass to Walmart. I'll meet you there, I'll get Jason to drive your car back." he says, looking down at me with his baby browns.
I nod, looking kinda smug too. "Yes, Captain."
He snorts, shaking his head in amusement, "Such a little brat."

8 179Time And Thoughts
This a book is where I freely express and convey emotions and my thoughts about topics. It's a place where I spend my TIME putting my THOUGHTS into words in hopes of helping someone. I've written these poems in such a way, so that my viewers can derive their own meaning from them. For me as a person I tend to feel more comforted, when down, by listen to music or reading poems, in which the poem or song is hopeless and gives off the feeling of the protagonist being bluntly hurt. In my poems I write without words of encouragement, but instead comfort the reader through understanding and allowing them to feel.If you ever feel the need to talk to someone or want to know the meaning of one of my poems or just wanna say something feel free to comment or private message me.Please enjoy and be comforted by my book.Highest ranking:#1 poems#1 poembook#2 poemcollection#2 poem#3 poetry#3 poetrycollection#5 sadpoems#5 thoughts#8 emotions#13 freeverse#17 hopeless#20 feelings#24 sadness#36 depressing #44 updating#56 life#70 sad#87 poet
