;better oops than what if
I got up early to have a quick morning practise before game day approached.
I needed to sweat out the weed that I had last night - which I wouldn't need to do if Miles didn't come back with more than enough to supply the whole fucking school.
I threw on a pair of shorts and a white FIU t-shirt, shoving my hat on backwards and hopping down the stairs.
Most of the guys were already up and about.
Miles, Eli, Cammy and Jason were sat at the kitchen counter eating breakfast, Ed and Zane were sat on the sofa watching highlights, Mason was sat beside them tapping away on his phone.
"Morning sweetheart, want some breakfast?" Jason offered, grinning up from his bowl of porridge.
"Oh, honey, how you spoil me." I sarcastically replied.
I dropped beside Eli, grabbing an apple from the metal wire fruit bowl and bit a huge chunk out of it.
"You're going to practise? Again?" Cammy looked at me with a sceptical look plastered on his face.
I nod, still chewing my apple.
"You're gonna burn yourself out, you need to chill." he commented.
I shrug, not really in the mood to go over this conversation with him, again.
"Since you're on your way out, fancy doing me a favour?" Eli asked, smiling at me like a crazy guy.
I let out a loud - somewhat mocking - laugh. "Didn't I do enough favours for you yesterday?" I asked, raising a brow.
"You did one."
"One too many, if you ask me." I responded, taking another bite.
"I gotta hand some forms in but I promised to buy my sister waffles, could you drop them off for me and I'll send you the money?" He looked at me with pleading eyes.
Cute.
Not gonna lie, it definitely piqued my interest. Seeing my feisty cheerleader first thing in a morning - hopefully in nothing but lingerie and a silk robe.
"Hold up, we got beer and she gets waffles? How is that fair?!" Jason is completely baffled, shooting Eli a glare.
Miles snorts out loud before shoving a spoonful of porridge in his big mouth.
"She - is my sister. She wanted waffles, you wanted booze." Eli shrugged. "So?" He glanced at me.
I nod.
Fuck yeah I'll hand deliver some waffles to the sexy, feisty brunette.
"I owe you one." Eli smiled, pulling his phone out his pocket, tapping away.
I received a notification to see he'd transferred me the money, I sent it straight back.

"Waffles are on me." I cheekily announced before grabbing my duffel and heading out the door.
"What about my waffles?!" Jason called after me, I ignored him and slammed the door shut.
I jumped in my G and drove to the diner down the road from campus, Dexter's.
I ordered Bella's waffles, reading the order off the text Eli sent me - as well as adding her a coffee, getting her choice of black goodness from Eli also.
She might of made out she didn't like me but I know she felt something towards me that night at the bar.
The way she flipped her hair over her shoulder, how her eyes would glaze over when she was looking at my lips, responding to my slight touches on her thigh and arm. I saw how her pupils dilated when I got close.
I affected her, and why wouldn't I of?
I was hot. I was popular. I was rich and the captain shooting guard of the basketball team.
So she should be affected by me - except she didn't know this that night.
I'm not normally the type of guy who tries to hard to get a girls attention but something about the English rose had me twisted.
Pulling into her apartment complex parking lot, I killed the engine, grabbed the bag of food and coffee before jumping out and heading up the stairs two at a time.
I rang Eli because he didn't tell me what number her apartment was - he answered with a huff and sounding a little stressed out, simply replying 7 then hanging up.
7 - Ironic, huh?
Knocking on her door, quickly running my hand through my hair and letting a breath out against my hand to check my breath - we were good to go, but no one answered, so I knocked again.
Finally, I heard light footsteps, the door clacking as the locks were unlocked and the door swung open revealing a eye rubbing, tired looking Tori Quinn.
"Maddox?" she says, rubbing one eye with her small fist.
The sound of my name on her tongue was too fucking perfect.
I smile, my eyes slowly raking over her body.
Fuck, she was hotter than I first realised.
Her face was beautifully bare, dark hair up in a messy, curled bun that had fell a little to the left.
She might not of been in a silky robe and lingerie but she was in a white, oversized NYU t-shirt that barely covered that firm round ass of hers - which oddly attracted me more - showing off her toned, bronze legs - the girl only just in line with my chest with her petit 5 foot odd frame.

Tori Quinn stood out from the other cheerleaders, other girls, in fact - that girl was a design crafted by the devil himself, probing men like me to commit every sin that ever existed.
"Maddox?" She repeated herself, confused hazel eyes looking over me.
I cleared my throat quickly - trying to think of anything other than how hot she was to stop me getting a raging hard on.
"Eli had something to do, he asked me to come instead." I managed to spit out.
She looked down at the bag that was sitting by my side and the coffees in my hand, before stepping to the side and allowing me to enter.
The front door led into a white open plan kitchen, I had a little look around - it was a nice - clean, girlie and fresh, nice nevertheless.
Placing the bag and coffees on the kitchen island, Tori walked in behind me.
Please don't get a boner. I silently prayed to myself.
"So Eli sent you, why?" she asked, leaning her elbows on the kitchen island.
"He had to hand some forms in or something."
She raised an eyebrow.
"Shit. Yeah, sorry." I stumbled out, fumbling with the brown paper bag - placing the box of waffles in front of her.
There's no fucking way I should be this nervous around her.
At all.
Yeah she was hot, but so were a thousand other girls that I'd been around, and do I need to mention - yet again - I had already flirted with this girl, for an entire night.
"Waffles as promised." I leaned sideways against the kitchen counter, turning to face her.
"Thank you."
"And, I also got you coffee. Vanilla mocha - I believe." I gloat, handing the coffee over.
Her lips purse together, like she's trying to keep herself from saying something.
"What?" I asked through a laugh.
"Nothing." she shrugs before taking a sip of her drink. "You're just the last person I expected to be hand delivering me waffles and coffee first thing in a morning."
I smirk.
"Maybe I just wanted to come and say morning, Bella." I teased as she rolled her eyes. "Is that a problem?" I shot her a cheeky wink.
"Could be." this time she was the one smirking.
Little shit.
Eyes small as her rosy cheeks bunched up.
"Fun night?" I raised a brow, nodding over to the multiple empty wine bottles sitting on the counter top.
She groaned, running her hands through her hair. "Fun then, regretful now." wincing at the thought.
Just as I was about to hit her with a comeback along the lines of 'that's what sex is like with me, minus the regret' - Hannah walks in, brown hair ratted like a birds nest, t shirt hanging off her shoulder and I swear I saw a Cheeto hanging from her head somewhere.
"What's going on here then?" She playfully assumed, flicking her eyes between me and a flustered looking Tori.
"Uh, Eli couldn't co--" Tori began, until I cut her off.
"I was bringing my catch of the day breakfast - in bed." I winked at Hannah.
"No. No, no, nah ah ahh," Tori tsk. "Eli couldn't come so he asked Maddox to drop my waffles off."
Aw, she was embarrassed. How sweet.
"Sure," Hannah drawled out with a smirk. Playfully nudging Tori as she walked past.
Tori looked pissed. "Hannah, I'm serious. You wouldn't catch me with him, trust me." she protested.
Ouch.
"Whatever you say, pretty lady." Hannah innocently replied, obviously being sarcastic.
Tori let slip a frustrated sigh while rolling her eyes. "Now you've given Hannah the wrong idea - is that all you want?"
"Well since you're offering," I winked. "I was wondering if you wanna come to a party that we're throwing tomorrow? Like, come for me?" I asked. Before she could answer I probed with. "You basically have too, it's the way of the world. You wouldn't wanna piss off the Karma Queen, right?" I quickly argued.
"Party on the night of the first of classes?" She raised a brow and tilted her lips.
I shrug casually. "Yeah, we do it all the time." We don't.
"You should come, Tors, it'll be fun." Hannah chimed in, giving me a knowing wink while putting the orange juice back in the fridge. "All the girls are gonna be there." she finished, taking a seat beside Tori.
"See, now you have to come. I'm going before you can say no." I headed over to the door quickly, Hannah giggled. "See you tonight, Bella." I called out, closing the door behind me.
I heard some kind of response but I was already at the stairs, far enough to not make out her words.
I shot Eli a quick text as I walked back to my car, tucking my phone away and jumping in the drivers seat, starting the engine and pulling out the lot with a wheel spin to impress the group of girls I see gawking at me.
Now I just had to throw a party tomorrow night.
Me and my big mouth and damn dick drive.
