《bad boy | jjk ✔️》epilogue.

"Lee Y/N."
I couldn't believe it, I couldn't believe that my name was getting called to stand up and receive something that told me I succeeded.
After that, we all went back to our studies. Of course, everything was different now. My ex best friend was dead, I have a boyfriend...And I've become friends with people that have my back the most.
It took me a long time to get back into the cycle of going to school, keeping up with the work, and getting my grades back up—but they were all there for me. Namjoon not being just a gun jammer, but he's crazy smart.
I got a therapist for myself—well, Bangtan, mostly Jungkook forced me to get one. My mind is lighter and now it feels like Dae-suk is forgiving me.
"Kim Seokjin,"
"Min Yoongi"
"Jung Hoseok"
"Park Jimin"
"Kim Taehyung"
"Jeon Jungkook"
One by one, they all stood up and received their diplomas. I've never felt so accomplished and proud of myself and Bangtan. I smiled as Jungkook received his and turned to find me in the crowd, shooting me his million dollar smile.
"And Kim Namjoon, a student with spectacular grades since grade school, here is your class valedictorian." Our principal announced.
Cheers were heard all around the arena, or it was just us seven clapping and screaming. It counts anyways. Namjoon snuck us a glance and smiled.
He cleared his throat before taking out a sheet of paper.
"I would like to begin by talking about myself," He then paused, before speaking more from his heart than the piece of paper he stayed up so late writing.
"I was born in Ilsan, a city near Seoul. I would look up at the night sky in wonder and dream the dreams of a boy. I used to imagine that I was a superhero, saving the world." Then he looked at us a smiled.
"If there's anything that I've achieved, it was only possible because I had my family with me by my side. Maybe I made a mistake yesterday, but yesterday's me is still me. I am who I am today, with all my faults. Tomorrow I might be a tiny bit wiser, and that's me, too. These faults and mistakes are what I am, making up the brightest stars in the constellation of my life. I have come to love myself for who I was, who I am, and who I hope to become." He let out a deep breath as he closed his eyes for a brief second. I noticed his hand was trembling, and the rest of Bangtan noticed too. Namjoon looked up at us, taking a deep breath before continuing.
"I would like to say one last thing." He paused, looking at everyone in the crowd.

"I would like to ask all of you. What is your name? What excites you and makes your heart beat? We have all learned to love ourselves, now I urge you to speak yourself. Tell me your story. I want to hear your voice, and I want to hear your conviction. No matter who you are, where you're from, your skin color, gender identity; what is your name? ."
He spoke a small "thank you" before he bowed and walked off the stage. Cheers erupted—and it wasn't just us this time, it was the whole student body.
Seokjin stood up and patted his back first, before they all huddled up and started jumping in a circle. I watched from my seat before Jungkook pulled me into it. "W-what?"
"You're part of us now." Jungkook smiled and kissed my forehead.
"I feel bad," Namjoon said as he walked up to me.
"Why?" I asked, confused.
"You stayed up late to help me with my valedictorian speech but I didn't use it." I shook my head—I was actually glad he said something more...like him.
"Well I did tell you it would come naturally." I smiled.
"Settle down students," our principal said.
The student body quieted down before he continued talking.
"Well, I guess you really aren't students anymore. Congratulations everyone, you have officially graduated Seoul High School."
All eight of us glanced at each other before we took our caps off and threw it into the air—as did the whole senior class.
I was lifted in the air by Jungkook, I raised my arms up as we spun, well, I spun around. "So much happened, princess. But I'm so glad it happened with you." He smiled as he lowered me, gently grabbing my chin as his soft lips descended onto mine.
We weren't able to enjoy the moment before someone snuck in between us, making us break apart. "As much as we're adults, I don't enjoy PDA." Jimin said, smiling.
"You always ruin the moment, hyung." Jungkook says, rolling his eyes. Jimin puts his hand onto his chest as he gasps dramatically. I giggle and shake my head as I watch the two argue.
"We must celebrate—by getting drunk!" Hoseok said in an excited tone.
"Hyung, you are a lightweight, you can literally get drunk with a few sips of wine." Taehyung rolls his eyes.
Hoseok chuckles before he sends Taehyung death glares. "Fine, fine—lets go out and get a few drinks to celebrate." Taehyung said while gritting his teeth.
Hoseok got all jumpy again and I smiled as he pinched Taehyung's cheek, Jimin and Jungkook joining the conversation as they made fun of Hoseok.

I walked up to Yoongi and Seokjin as they stood and had a plain expression. "Aren't you excited?" I asked them.
"Hell yeah, I'm just too tired to show it." Yoongi sighed.
"Let's be honest you're always tired." Seokjin rolled his eyes as he stood with both hands on his hips.
"Y/N, why are you hanging out with grandma and grandpa? They are sooo boring." Jungkook said as he slid his hand onto my waist.
"He called you grandma," Seokjin said as he laughed, oddly sounding like a windshield wiper.
"No, it was to you, fucking idiot." Yoongi replied. Anddd he's back.
Seokjin looked at Jungkook for confirmation and when he didn't deny it, Jungkook fled from me as Seokjin started to chase him around the field. "You stupid boy!" He yelled as he chased Jungkook around. "You're so lucky I don't have a slipper right now!"
I couldn't help but laugh at Seokjin chasing one of the "baddest" boys—Jungkook even looks scared. I wouldn't say he's bad, though. Or maybe he was. Maybe something changed in him.
"Cheers to graduating!" Namjoon said as we all raised our glasses. No, not alcohol—orange juice. Because Grandma Seokjin thought that they, or we, should start following rules. Which I find ridiculous, but also hilarious.
Everyone else also seemed disappointed that Seokjin wouldn't be lenient just for today since we graduated, but Jimin was upset that most. "Jungkook's up!" Hoseok exclaimed, clapping.
Jungkook had a singing gig at the bar today. I was proud of him—he was starting fresh. Jungkook walked up to the small stage, sitting on the barstool and holding the mic stand.
He cleared his throat multiple times before speaking. "H-Hi everyone. I wrote a song that I'll be singing. It's not just a song, it's for my princess." He smiled while making eye contact with me. I blushed, looking around. The crowd seemed to pay attention to him, but he only looked at me.
You are the sunlight that rose again in my life
A reincarnation of my childhood dreams
I don't know what this emotion is
If this place is also inside a dream
This dream is a blue mirage in the desert
A priori deep inside of me
I'm so happy, I can't breathe
My surroundings are getting more and more transparent
I hear the far-away ocean
Across the dream, over the horizon
I'm going to the place that's getting clearer
Take my hands now
You are the cause of my euphoria
Euphoria
Take my hands now
You are the cause of my euphoria
Euphoria
Close the door now
When I'm with you I'm in utopia
Jungkook didn't break eye contact with me at all throughout the whole song. One of the lyrics did sound like deja vu, though. I remembered him saying something along one of the lyrics but I couldn't point it out.
The crowd clapped as he finished. I remember Bangtan being the loudest as they cheered and screamed his name. Some people were recording, so maybe he could get more recognition. I turned, finding Jimin pouting at Seokjin.
"Hyungggg, please let us drink alcohol, even if it's just a sip." Jimin whined, but Seokjin seemed strict on the no-alcohol-until-we're-19 rule. "I don't understand why we're even at a bar, then." Jimin sighed.
When Jimin got his answer, he pouted again before turning his back to Seokjin. Taehyung consoled Jimin but almost bursted out laughing at his boyfriend's pouting session.
"Brat."
"Meanie."
"You're seriously going to insult me with that?" Seokjin said before he laughed.
Jimin crossed his arms—still seeming angry about the alcohol situation.
"Fine." Seokjin sighed. "You can have alcohol-" He got cut off before Jimin hugged him.
"Thanks hyung!"
"-when you're 19."
"YOU DICK!" Jimin yelled, almost getting the whole bar's attention.
I chuckled before I felt a hand grabbing my own, pulling me with them. "What are you doing?" I asked, unaware of who grabbed my hand.
He turned into a long hallway—I guessed it was the way to the bathroom's. The stranger then pushed me forcefully up against the wall as I closed my eyes. "W-who are you?"
I felt his hand caress my cheek, "Open your eyes babe." The voice was familiar. Opening my eyes, I saw the most beautiful person in the world.
Jeon Jungkook.
My frown immediately turned upside down as I realized it was him. "O-oh hi," I said, still unable to have my words cooperate even after months of dating.
"You seem to be having fun," he smiled. I nodded.
"But we'll be having more fun later." He smirked. My face felt hot but before I could do anything about it or escape my very awkward situation, his lips descended down onto mine.
It was passionate, needy even. It felt so right. Everything felt right at this moment. I felt like I was with the right people—with so many amazing friends that has gone through so much with me.
I felt... at peace. For once, I felt like everything was just let go. All the pain, harmful memories and scars that were there just... vanished.
I have learned to love myself, I have learned to speak myself—while I also learned to defend myself. Things happened, but Bangtan had been there since the beginning.
And it was all because I bumped into the bad boy.

The Dreamside Road
Five years after the world fell into chaos, a treasure of artifacts is up for grabs. The relics of the Dreamside Road offer a power that could help rebuild or annihilate what remains. Orson Gregory is an adventurer for hire, but hunts this treasure for answers, not glory. Enoa Cloud’s late aunt helped hide the Dreamside Road, but following in her aunt’s supernatural tradition offers her as much peril as power. Together, Orson and Enoa battle a magic-obsessed militia, clash with a host of rivals, and face constant adventure on their journey to find the Dreamside Road. *Updates Monday and Friday The Dreamside Road is now on TopWebFiction! Vote so people know this exists. _____________________________________ NOTE: The Progression tag applies specifically to Enoa. Also, fair warning, that element doesn't enter the story until she begins her studies. Content: Main characters range in age from teenagers to people in their thirties and older, but it will not contain gratuitous violence or explicit sexual content. It also won’t shy away from implication, anything to make this story and its world feel more real. Characters will freely allude to potentially triggering topics, including living with a disability, facing terminal illness, coping with trauma, surviving societal destabilization, and the consequences of bigotry. At its most intense, the Dreamside Road is a hard PG-13. Worldbuilding: This is not a story with a lot of early exposition scenes, conveniently explaining ‘magic systems’ and political dynamics. Readers will learn, progressively, as the characters do. This story/world has a ‘magic system’, or rather, a set of systems, but the effort to quantify and understand the truth of the setting plays a role in the backstory, as well as in some character motivations. In that same vein, not every character has a firm grasp on the nature of their world, and not every piece of dialog from every character should be taken as entirely truthful Worldbuilding. Also, this isn't the softest Sci-fi. There are at least some basic explanations given for various elements, but Royal Road does not give me a spectrum to choose from. Given the choice between hard and soft, let's just say The Dreamside Road won't be cited in any college Physics papers. Setting and Theme: The Dreamside Road walks the line between fantasy and science fiction and deals with finding one’s place in a changing world. Many of the characters in this story are United States natives and the story begins in the United States, my homeland. However, knowledge or interest in this country is not necessary to understand the story, especially as it progresses. Also, as this is a novel that deals with societal collapse and while that damage may be widespread, in story, I don’t want to overstep and critique the culture of others’ unless I have particular knowledge in a given area. Ultimately, the Dreamside Road is American in the same way Harry Potter is English, fantasies that do not have a full secondary world, but with enough original elements to fully diverge the setting from our the real world.

Re-Ordaining of the Chosen
Alea cheerfully hummed as she descended the steps, brimming in upbeat while her colleague, Quarren Leos, shot her a look of skepticism. “So… were you right about him?” he asked doubtfully. She came to a stop for a moment, her humming falling silent before she shook her head, waving her medium length light-blonde hair from side to side. “I was wrong about him.” Quarren raised an eyebrow in confusion at the convoluted response.“But you seem quite happy?” he asked again. “Because I am. But I was wrong about him. He was… so much more than I ever expected.” Alea looked at the sky overhead with a smile. “That boy… no, that man, is amazing. I firmly believe he will come to stand on top of any adversary he faces. He is destined. He is Chosen.” Quarren snorted as he stepped past, shaking his head. “Okay. Each to their own beliefs but you’re sounding like a nutjob. That skinny twig? Everyone calls him a cripple, you know,” he shook his head.“Rumours are always false, Leos,” Alea answered with a disapproving shake of her head. “You wouldn’t know. He is so, so much more.” “I saw him with my own two eyes. I didn’t see anything redeeming,” Quarren rebutted. “Well…” Alea chuckled. “You haven’t seen what I’ve seen.” In the year 917 of the Imperial Calendar, the Great War had just ended between dozens of nations. It was common belief that they possessed special blood blessed by the Goddess Stecia, who gifted the lineage to the first King of Farrien when he first founded the country. All were ecstatic when the current generation of the two Archduchy's, after the war, agreed to let their children wed. The excitement was short-lived however when the Aerianne Princess proved to be a dragoness among men but the Kanarian Prince was worse than even mediocre. The Prince disappeared and the wedding was shortly forgotten as society lived on. Until one day the Young Heir of Kanaria returned to Farrien a changed man, bringing demise with him. Follow the story of the Chosen ordained by the Goddess of Time as he returns to the past to right his wrongs and set things back straight again!
