"What the hell?"
We all looked at each other, our faces weary. For all we know, they could be sneaking up on us now.
Namjoon showed three fingers. Seokjin and I nodded, understanding the gesture.
"One," he whispered.
"...two,"
"three."
We all pushed up from our knees and left our cover. I expected gunshots. I expected for them to surround us and maybe even actually shoot us to our deaths. But that isn't exactly what happened.
Instead,
Kim Taehyung, Min Yoongi, and Jung Hoseok stood there—all the men that had been shooting at us were on the ground, dead or unconscious—most likely dead.
"Thought you needed backup!" Yoongi yelled breathlessly. Seokjin, Namjoon and I all shook our heads, a grin growing onto our faces.
"Thanks, man." Namjoon spoke as he and the other three did the special hug with all three of them.
"It's what family is for, right Y/N?" Taehyung smiles as he turns to my direction. I nod.
I was still quite pissed off that they didn't want to in the first place, but we're all back together and that's what matters. I hated that we were all broken up and in completely separate rooms with separate thoughts. I guess I knew we'd have a better chance if we all worked together.
My speech worked.
"As much as I want to continue this, celebration, Jungkook and Jimin aren't here—our sole mission was to rescue Jimin in the first place, and we need our golden maknae. Let's get this first, then we can celebrate after." Hoseok says.
We all nodded, our survival modes turning on again. "There's a basement here, like where Y/N was placed the first time. That's probably where Jimin and Jungkook are at." Namjoon said.
"This is our last battle—as soon as we walk out of here with both of them, we're done." Namjoon adds as we all nod.

"Ammo count?" I ask.
Everyone responded with two or three barrels—Taehyung, Hoseok and Yoongi having more since they had used less ammo.
"Is everyone ready?" Yoongi asked.
"I've never been more ready to wipe out the people that had killed my parents." I said.
Namjoon kicked the basement door down since it was his specialty to break things. Just saying the truth.
Namjoon nodded, turning on his flashlight to shine in the pitch black basement. Namjoon in the front, we all started descending down the stairs one by one and only a step behind each other.
The lights suddenly turned on as we heard and saw guns cocking. They all aimed at us. "Damn it," I heard someone whisper.
"Drop your weapons." One of the men demanded. I guessed it was the leader that took over since Jae-eun and her father died.
Nobody reacted. It was more of a staring contest. "I said, drop your weapons." He said harsher. We all briefly glanced at Namjoon—to which he gave no response. Instead, his jaw clenched as the grip on his gun tightened.
When nobody reacted or did what the man said, he spoke up. "Fine, you want to play that way? I guess you don't want your golden boy dying, do you?"
Just as he said that, Jungkook was brought out by two men—He was getting dragged by the men. I gulped as I took in his appearance. Jungkook was shot. He wasn't dead, but he got shot in the knee. They didn't want him to run.
"Oh? So you don't care?" I looked down at my feet as I dropped the gun from my hold.
"He's useless anyways, kill him." The man added.
"Drop your weapons," Namjoon said sternly to the rest of us. We all dropped our weapons. Surprisingly, nobody grabbed our weapon which was a big mistake because it was in arms reach.

"We dropped our weapons, now where's Jimin?" Taehyung asked.
"Oh, you mean the short one? He's doing fine, actually. He's the one that dragged you into this mess."
Did I hear that right? I heard a few gasps, including me. "W-what?"
"I-It's true, Y/N. Jimin brought us here, he got us into this situation." Jungkook mumbled. I've never been so relieved to hear his voice, but we're not done, we're very far from that.
Jimin walked out in his yellow blouse. "J-Jimin?" Taehyung asked, seeing if what the man said was true. Jimin shrugged, smirking.
"It's so hilarious how easily you fell for my trick," he smiled. My heart dropped at Jimin's response and I heard Taehyung taking a deep breath from above me.
"He's been keeping an eye on every seven of you and reporting back. Nice to know you fell in love, Jungkook—especially since your parents died-"
"Don't talk about my parents," Jungkook replied angrily.
"Don't you want to know who murdered them?" The question made him go silent. "I'll take that as a yes. Your parents owed us money. A lot of money, Jungkook."
"Y-YOU! You killed them!" He said, struggling against the men that held him back. He still fought even though he couldn't really move his leg.
"They borrowed a lot of money that they couldn't return. They couldn't just get away with that, what better way than you pay buy, themselves." The man chuckled. I grew angry with the conversation.
Unable to control my anger, hunching down and grabbing my gun, I was just about ready to murder them all for hurting Jungkook, me and the others. Unfortunately, Taehyung placed his arms around me as he restrained me from pulling the trigger.
"What, princess? Feeling bad for your boyfriend?" He teased. "It's okay, you won't have to mourn for too long. It's obvious, what, 30 on 7?" The man smirked.
"You will all be dying today anyways."
