- Heather's POV

"Surprise Angel"

Xavier whispers in my ear before removing the blindfold. I blink a few times to gain my vision back. I was NOT prepared for the sight in front of me. I open my eyes to see my mother and father holding hands smiling with tears in their eyes and my brother standing beside Cami and Nicholas with his arms crossed with a huge grin. I couldn't help when my knees began to wobble. Xavier was quick to steady my waist. I felt the tears spring to my eyes.

"Princess" My dad steps forward while I still try to process this. They're here? They're here!

My dad reaches out to stroke my cheek making me touch his hand that is on me. I look back and forth from his hand to him. His eyes shimmering with unshed tears.

"Your here" I whisper before lunging myself into his chest hugging him tightly. His cologne comforting me like it always had. I feel him wrap his arms tightly around me. One arm locked around my waist while the other is holding the back of my head. I pull back just enough to see his face. "Your here."

"Yes princess." He says allowing his own tears to fall. I see my mother walk up beside him and I couldn't help my body from trembling from happiness. I let go of my dad to embrace her tightly. She giggles while crying as well.

"Hey now, you can't forget about me?" My brother says with open arms. I don't hesitate lunging myself into his arms making everyone laugh. He spins me around before placing me on my feet. I continue hugging him to death.

"Chris, I'm so sorry-"

"It was NOT your fault." He says cupping my face making me look dead in his eyes. He pulls my face to his chest. I cry into his chest for a few minutes before I feel my mother come behind me hugging my back. My father joins us gathering us all in his arms. I close my eyes and relish in this moment. My family is here. I couldn't help the chuckle sob that escapes.

I open my eyes to see Luca still in Nicholas arms but now awake looking at me while Cami stands beside him. I then look and see Xavier standing beside his parents. He brought my family here. God, that man! I couldn't help the tears that continued cascading down my cheeks.

I walk out of their embrace to walk directly up to Xavier who is sporting his own smile. I pull his shirt collar down and crash my lips to his. His lips not hesitating to kiss me back. Everything else disappearing around us. I didn't care that his parents were right beside him. I didn't care that my family was watching me devour him. I am just simply overjoyed and wanted to express it. His hands gripping my hips firmly. I pull away and press my forehead firmly to his. We stand there for a minute in complete silence.

"Yuck! Momma was trying to eat dad."

The whole room erupts in giggles. I open my eyes and gaze into the most memorizing eyes. I peck his lips once more.

"Thank you" I say softly. He nods his head and releases me.

-Xavier's POV

Words couldn't describe how much happiness it brought me to bring her back to her family. The sheer amount of love they had for each other was apparent. I watched as she went from hugging each of them with trembling hands to then seeing them all in one hug. My father walked up to me placing a hand on my shoulder while my mother stood on my other side. Both of them with their own teary eyes. I then look back to my love whose eyes were locked with mine. She steps out of their embrace and walks directly to me. I thought she was going to hug me... but DAMN did I enjoy her kiss so much more. My mind becoming a fog with only her in sight.

"Thank you" she said a breath away from my lips. I nod my head not being able to form words. She smiles and walks back over to her family. I feel my mother link her arm with my own.

"You did good son." She says still watching the heart melting scene play out. I kiss the side of her head.

"Alright enough of the tears. I'm starving." Cami says holding her stomach making us all chuckle at her. Heather walks over to her kissing her cheek and linking her arm with her. Luca makes grabby hands to Heather who happily obliges gathering him in her arms.

"If everyone will follow me, we have set up a dinner outside this evening." Leo announces from the entrance to the room. We all begin following him outside. I then see Chris walk up to Cami whispering something in her ear. I raise an eyebrow wondering if their is something there. I then see Nicholas walk up to Heather's side and also whispers something making her laugh. I clench my fist resisting any urges to punch him. I know that he is not into her like that but I can't stop the jealousy of him being so close to her. I feel a tug on my elbow and turn to see Reece standing there.

"May I speak to you in private for a moment?" She says in a soothing voice. I nod at her and watch as everyone walks over to the set up Leo and Tessa orchestrated for all of us.

"Is everything okay Mrs. Drake?" She giggles and shakes her head. I furrow my eyebrows now concerned until her eyes reconnect with mine.

"I just wanted to personally thank you... There is not enough words in this world that could express how grateful I am for all you have done." She says smiling with her eyes. "I am sure you can tell I do not look like my children... The truth is that their mother took off shortly after Heather was born. I was Derek's assistant at the time and was already close with Christopher."

I take my own shaky breath. This answered my question and gave me more reasons as to why she was so upset when we discussed Luca's mother. She can relate to him. Reece looks to her family with so much adoration. If it wasn't for her physical features you wouldn't have known. I can't believe someone would leave them but then again, Luca's mother did the same thing.

"They both know the truth however never cared. They are my children blood or not, and I can see Heather has formed the same bond with Luca." I look back over to see my son sitting on Heather's lap while she gently strokes his hair while talking to her father. I can't help the smile that stretches across my face. Reece laughs making my gaze turn back to her. " I know that look... And I'm happy. She needs someone special to look after her."

"Honestly Mrs. Drake, I'm the grateful one."

She links her arm with mine and begins walking. She surprises me once again with her final statement.

"Call me Mom."
