- Heather's POV

"Momma!"

I look up to see Luca running out the door to me. I open my arms wide and bend down. He runs into my arms jumping onto me. I giggle at him and stand up with him still holding onto me. Xavier walks around the front of the car to my side. He smiles at us and kisses the side of my head. I feel his hand press against the small of my back making me feel my stomach do flips. I begin walking to the entrance of the house.

After we finished up at the range, I rode back with Xavier for the evening. Nicholas offered to give Cami a ride back but somehow she ended up with Theo in his car. I chuckled seeing her climb into Theo's car while biting her lip. Theo had the biggest grin I have ever seen him sport before. Nicholas shook his head and decided he was going to stay back for a little bit.

"Momma, are you spending the night?" Luca mumbles into my neck. I rub his back still holding him in my arms.

"It depends..."

"On what??" He says leaning back looking at me questionably. I tap my chin pretending like I'm thinking.

"If you want me to." He grins ear to ear while nodding rapidly. I giggle along with Xavier and Leo. "Then I guess I'm staying."

"Will you come play with me?" I nod my head at him. He gets out of my arms and tugs on my hand. I turn to Xavier giving him a smile. His eyes are swirling with so many emotions however the one that stands out is adoration. He smiles back at me gently. I turn back around letting Luca drag me away.

"Angel, I got a new puzzle. Want to help?"

-Xavier's POV

I watch as Luca tugs Heather down the hallway towards his room. The smile not leaving my face. Listening to Luca call her momma, the way he lights up seeing her... Everything seems brighter with her around. She belongs here, with us.

"Leo, will you let Tessa know we will be having Miss Drake joining us this evening." He nods his head and walks off with a smile of his own.

Ring Ring

I pull my cellphone out of my pocket. I pull it to my ear answering the phone.

"Sanford"

Is this Xavier Sanford?

"Yes, who is this?"

My name is Derek Drake, I believe you know my daughter.

I stop abruptly and feel my heart begin picking up speed. I clear my throat and walk into the living room to set down on a chair.

"Yes Mr. Drake, I know Heather."

She says you two are in a relationship. Is this true?

I once again feel my palms getting clammy. I rub my palms on my pants. Jesus he isn't even here? Pull it together!!

"Yes sir, it is true. I care deeply for her."

You understand I have my doubts, correct?

"There is no reason to doubt my intentions sir. She means a great deal not only to me but also to my son."

Ah yes, Luca. Heather has told me all about you both...

"I wish to meet you in person however I know that right now that isn't really an option."

Heather has told you I presume?

"Everything other than his full name." I hear him sigh into the phone.

His name is Michael Parker. I am hoping that we have the problem taken care of. Time will tell though.

I nod my head and take a deep breath as well. "Sir, is your son okay?"

He will be in time. He pauses for a minute and I hear mumbles in the background. Do you mind if I call you Xavier.

"No sir."

Xavier, Thank you. I furrow my eyebrows and wait for him to continue. You have made our daughter feel protected and loved... something myself and my wife are grateful for.

"Trust me sir, I think I am more grateful for her." I answer truthfully.

As soon as things get wrapped up, we will be out to visit. I would like to meet my grandson in person.

I smile and chuckle slightly. "I think he would like to meet you both as well."

I have to go for now. Please keep an eye on our daughter Xavier.

"Absolutely sir."

Please call me Derek, sir makes me feel ancient.

"Yes Si-Derek."

I hear the phone click off and I can't help but smile at it. She has told them about me and Luca. She said we were in a relationship. I can't help but grin and chuckle shaking my head.

"Sir, Tessa said dinner is ready."

I look up to see Leo standing at the entrance to the room. I nod at him while standing up walking out of the room. I give him a pat on the shoulder while heading towards Luca's room. I get to the entrance and gently push the door open peaking inside. Luca is curled into Heather's side while they cuddle on his bed with a book. Heather is running her fingers through his hair while Luca is slowly reading to her. I smile leaning against the door's entrance admiring the view.

"Angel, Luca... it's time for dinner."

Both snap there heads towards me. Luca scrambles off the bed running out of the room. I look back to see my sweetheart gently standing up from the bed. I continue staring at her while she walks towards me. She begins to walk past me when I gently grab her arm pulling her back against my chest. I see her blush slightly making me smirk. So adorable. I wrap my arms around her slender waist while she lays her head on my chest. I can't get over the overwhelming calmness I have while she is in my arms. I sigh and lay my chin on her head.

"Dad, Mom- Are you coming?" Luca shouts down the hallway.

We both chuckle at him while Heather leans back to look at me in the eyes. I once again get caught up in her beauty. Those large blue eyes stay locked on my face. I gently run my hand on her cheek while she leans into my touch. I slowly lean down once again to taste her sweetness. I feel her hands slide up my arms locking around my neck.

I gently move my lips against hers while I feel her responding to my touch. I groan in the back of my throat the moment her fingers begin twirling in my hairs at the nape of my neck. I pull her more against me. I take her pony tail gently tugging it out letting her long hair fall around her. I lock my fingers in hair massaging her head. She sighs against my lips. I slowly pull back leaning my forehead against hers.

"Do you have any idea how addicting you are?" I whisper making her blush and peck my lips. "Your mine."

"All yours."
