- Xavier's POV
"Care to explain?" My father ask looking at me intently.
I pick up Luca into my arms who wraps his arms around my neck and places his head on my shoulder. I nod at my parents and leave the room taking Luca up to his room. I am not going to have this conversation with Luca here. After Leo goes up to play with Luca, I walk back in and sit down with my parents. Tessa sets tea down and I thank her while she walks out.
"Son, who was that?" My mother ask looking at me questionably.
"Her name is Heather, she is Luca's teacher." I can visibly see my mother's shoulders sag.
"The way you were speaking to her-" I cut my father off.
"She is also my girlfriend... and Luca considers her as his mother." My father stiffens and sits up straight. His eyes narrowing at me while he studies me which I just give a blank expression to. My mother on the other hand starts grinning ear to ear.
"This is unexpected son." My father says not looking to pleased. I already know where this conversation is going. "Are you sure she is not trying to-"
I hold up my hand stopping him from speaking further. "She is not after me for my money if that is what you are thinking."
"How can you be so sure? She could have gotten close to Luca to get to you." I stand up at my fathers statement. Both of my parents looking at me.
"She is an heir to her own company and to be frank- I chased her, not the other way around. She saved Luca and continues to care for him. Do not question me again about her. Speak ill of her and I will ask you to leave."

My mother looks at me shocked. I don't typically speak so crude to my father however him thinking so low of my angel was making my blood boil. My father stands up straightening out his suit before nodding at me taking me by surprise.
"If she makes you happy and she truly cares for you both, I have nothing further to say in regards to her."
My mother takes a deep exhale and stands up now with a little bounce in her step. She stands by my father wrapping her arms around his bicep. She smiles wide and I can tell she is truly happy.
"Well when can we meet her again?!?" I chuckle along with my father.
-Heather's POV
Cami and I are pulling back up to our house. My hands are still trembling from the news she just told me. I look at the window but don't make a move to open my door. I take a deep exhale and give myself a moment closing my eyes. Cami reaches over from the driver seat and takes my hand giving a tight squeeze reassuringly. I open my eyes to see Cami giving me a nod which I return. We both open our doors and walk into our home. I sit down at her computer and await the Skype call to come in.
Ding
I open the chat and automatically feel like crying. The duo on the screen are looking back at me with teary eyes as well. They begin smile and crying as I do the same. My parents.
My mother looks the same as I saw her a few months back. Her dark brown eyes are like a mirror to her soul. Her eyes conveying how happy she is to see me. She has let her dark hair grow out making her look more ethereal. My father's dark hair is still slicked back and his blue eyes that always seem to match mine look so tired, like he hasn't slept in a few days.

"Hi" I cry out to them as I feel Cami squeeze my shoulder standing beside me.
"Oh honey, Hi." My mother mumbles out leaning towards the camera.
"My beautiful daughter, you are looking stunning as always." I chuckle while rubbing my fallen tears.
"I look like a mess dad." They chuckle at me. I take a deep breath trying to reset my nerves. "Cami told me what happened."
They facial expressions turn into ones of sorrow. I can see my dad wrap his arm around my mother and rub her arm. My mother tries to give a reassuring smile.
"Michael is currently in custody. Your brother is currently in recovery." I nod my head as I feel like lead is lying on my chest suffocating me. My brother was attacked because of me. He is in a hospital because of me. He could of died because of me.
"Honey, I know what you are thinking. This is NOT your fault." My father states sternly. I lift my eyes and see them both close to the screen. They look so worried. "Your brother will be okay."
"If he would have just told him where I was then-"
"Stop right there!" My mother says raising a hand and then taking a deep breath. "Your brother along with both of us would NEVER let that man NEAR you."
I begin sobbing uncontrollably. Cami gathers me in her arms from behind as I collapse. This is all my fault. If I would have listen to my parents to begin with, we wouldn't be here. I would still be in New York with my parents, with my brother. Cami squeezes me tighter allowing me to let it all out.
"Honey, we know this is hard but we need you to stay away until we can get guarantee him remaining behind bars. Do you understand?" I nod my head trying to recollect myself. The moment Cami told me my brother was attacked I wanted to jump on a plane however she knew I shouldn't go there. I can't believe Michael would go so far to find me. Why can't he just give me up?
"Your parents are right. Even though this is heart breaking, there is a silver line." Cami says from behind me. "Michael will finally be arrested and locked up where he can't get you."
I try to chuckle but I know it sound horrible. I look back at my parents who are giving Cami there own smile. My parents always loved Cami. They trusted her and her decisions when it came to me. More importantly how protective she is of me. They gave her complete trust when she socked one of my father's associates who was getting a little grabby at a charity event we attended. I still remember my father saying he found the last member of our family embracing Cami in a hug that day.
"Always looking for the bright side I see Cami." My father says shaking his head.
"Well your daughter is my sister so yea... anything to make her smile." We all chuckle at her.
I look back at my parents and feel like I should tell the about Luca and Xavier. I just hope they take the news well. I clear my throat and get there attention.
"I have something I want to tell you."
