-Heather's POV

It's been a few days since the incident and I still feel tense wondering if I should run or not. Cami keeps reassuring me and Sam has even said he would let me stay with him if I needed to. I start tomorrow at the new school so today I decided to burn off all my pent-up energy at the gym. Cami refused to come after I finally managed to get her to jog with me this morning so I invited Kurt who was with me now. We were walking towards the entrance to the gym when I hear someone holler at me.

"Angel!"

I turn around and kneel down as Luca runs into my arms and I lift him up. He hugs me tightly and I hug him back. He burrows his head in my neck elating a giggle from me. I look over his shoulder to see Leo running up to me. He looks like he is out of breath and leans over putting his hands on his knees to take deep breaths. I chuckle but continue to hold Luca.

"Hey Sunrise, I'll meet you inside." Kurt says patting my shoulder. I nod at him while he walks in.

"Hey Lil Man, how are you?" I whisper in his ear. He lifts his head and smiles brightly at me causing me to smile as well.

"I'm better now. You haven't come back." He says with a slight pout. I lift his chin up.

"I'm sorry buddy. How bout this, would you like to have dinner with me tonight?" His eyes light up and he nods his head vigorously.

"Actually Miss Heather, would you mind having dinner at their home tonight? Luca has to be home tonight but I'm sure Mr. Sanford wouldn't mind you coming over." Leo speaks up standing up straight.

"I don't want to-"

"Angel, Please?" Luca says giving me puppy dog eyes. I can't say no to this kid, he is to adorable! I sigh and nod my head. He lunges forward and hugs me tightly again.

"Miss, if you wouldn't mind giving me your cellphone number. I will give you the directions." I stiffen slightly before looking over to Leo. He notices my reaction and looks at me confused.

"How bout you write it down for me." He nods but looks hesitant. I look back towards Luca and rub his back. I still can't believe a mother would give up a chance with this boy. I feel him start playing with my hair. I giggle feeling him twirl my ponytail with his finger.

"Here you go Miss Heather." He hands me over the paper and goes to take Luca back as he clings to me. I smile and chuckle while looking at Leo. "Luca, you will see her in a few hours. We need to get going."

I feel the resistance in Luca but I promise him that by the time 5 o'clock gets here, I will be at his house. He nods and sighs before I set him back down. He walks back over to Leo and takes his hand giving me a wave before they continue on.

I walk into the gym and go straight to boxing ring where I see Kurt waiting for me.

It's Go Time!

-Xavier's POV

"How have you not found her!" I roar through my phone on my office desk.

I have been on edge for two days. Two Fucking Days! She hasn't come back by since that day and I didn't know anything new about her. I have tried remaining cool around Luca since he already seemed hurt. I was more concerned that she wouldn't show up for school tomorrow so I have called the school multiple times to confirm she has not quit. I tried bribing them to give me her address or at least her phone number but they claim she did not give that information.

"Sir, she has not had anything in her name for 3 months, we can't-"

I hang up not caring to hear anymore of their excuses. I run my hand through hair and sigh heavily. I can't believe how much I have been thinking about this woman. I knew her for less than 24 hours and she is occupying more of my thoughts than any other woman ever has. I can her melancholy voice singing. I still can see her in that green bikini. I can picture her radiant smile or her laughter laced with my sons. I smile remember how my son smiles at her so big.

I abruptly throw a glass at the wall watching it shatter on the floor. My phone begins to ring. I walk over to it and pick it up.

"Sanford"

"Hello Mr. Sanford, I wanted to let you know that we will be having a guest tonight at dinner." Leo says sounding cheerful causing me to scowl.

"I didn't give you permission to-"

"Dad, it was me! Angel said she would have dinner with us!!" My son chirps in. I stop abruptly and freeze. He found her? She is coming back??

"Son say that again." I stand frozen wanting to confirm my ears.

"I saw Angel in town and I went to her and she said she missed me and wanted to have dinner with me but Leo spoke up and said I would need to have dinner at our home." I sigh and smirk. Smart man Leo.

"Alright son, I will see you in a little bit." I hang up the phone and take a seat in my chair and relax for what felt the first time in a few days. Why am I acting like this, she is just another woman?

Hell I don't even believe that thought anymore. I guess I will have to get some more answers tonight. I ring Theo to come to my office. I walk over to window and place a hand on it taking in a deep breath.

"What up Bro?" Theo says walking in and flopping down on one my chairs.

"Hey I need you to come over for dinner tonight." I state rather than ask. I push off the window and walk over to him pressing my hands in my pockets.

"Not that I don't mind coming over but why the invitation?" He says intrigued.

"Miss Drake is coming. Luca found her and invited her." He tries hiding the grin growing on his face. I give him a hard look hoping he would just shut up.

"How on earth did Luca find someone we haven't been able to locate?" He says barely holding back a laugh before he burst out. I glare and wait for him to finish.

"He said she was in town when him and Leo went earlier today." I state monotone which causes him to further laugh holding his sides. He finally stops and holds his hands up in mock surrender.

"Sounds good man. What time?"

"Be at my house by 6."

"Alright see you tonight man." He says getting back up to leave. "Do I need to bring anything?"

I shake my head as he leaves to his office still slightly chuckling. Idiot... I go back to my desk to try continuing work however now I feel like a hormonal teenager looking forward to his first date. I shake my head trying to focus.
