I enter a dark room. in the basement of the shady brewmasters bar. A blackmarket gather point. a place that switch locations and ceases to exist at certain times and places. The way i managed to get access to this one time opportunity, is from buying 2000 worth of Punga fruits. A heavily regulated import that comes from an enemy kingdom. The main export is the Punga fruit. Which is why the syla empire is exerting its economic ability to put it down. Which is a shame, because they are very delicious.

If you want to buy them, you have to pay way over market price and most fruitmongers dont sell them most of the time. My plan involves buying lots at a wholesale price and selling them at the blackmarket to make money, This works in getting me into the market and making me money.

i knew that if i asked someone, that i knew could get into the blackmarket. They would be able to get me in touch to the solicitor of the blackmarket. The solicitor is a weirdo that both acts both quite and hyper aggressive. He checked me out and made sure that i am not actually a cop or something. guess i am going to be one in the future.

He gave me a sigil and method of use. it will tell me when and where a blackmarket is open. they turn it off after 2 days, i would have to meet a solicitor again for another sigil.

When i showed up, everything was surprisingly casual. you got it, yea get right around back. I guess carrying a crate of fruit makes it somewhat obvious.

People are moving about and talking with others. There are stalls set up to sell lower value products that happen to be illegal, but not valuable enough to teleport around. just like me.

Observing the room, i notice only two real authority figures, a mage that is working the teleportation circle and a security guard. Everything seem to be very loose, Which is contrary to the incredibly strict vetting process. nothing was really explained to me.

I keep looking at everybody for a while longer, as i try to take in the method of operation. how people act and how i should act. Stall owners just take any old empty place and when they are done. They just pack and leave the basement. you would assume that they are drunk patrons leave the bar.

i walk over to an empty stool and pull my crates over and set them up. Opening the two crates each filled with 300 Punga fruits each. and sit tight until i sell them.

As i settle down, i grab a fruit and start chowing down on it. Its just to tasty to leave it all for the costumers. Hey maybe me eating it would attract costumers. smiling while chewing a wet fruit, i continue observing the environment.

The price of 3 is already considered to be very low. if you went to a fruitmonger, then you would need 4.5 or somewhere around 6 if its really high and scarce. i sold all my stock and ate or lost about 10. Mind you i spent hours just sitting in a stall with nothing to do. i made 2,360. Thats a decent profit. Minus 120, 100 is the entry cost for the blackmarket and 20 for buying packaging for the fruits.

i sold my farm and house. for 21,000 and 12,000 respectively. At this point of time, i am well and truly untied with anything. I can leave to the other side of the world with nothing waiting on me. i look at the amount of money i have with pride. I never thought i would get this amount of money. I also never expected to spend it all just as soon as i got it.

i walk to the teleportation circle and approach the computer to order expensive systems items. There is one computer and if you want to use it, then you would need to wait in line. I got on it, before someone came to use it. Its also pretty late at night, i spent to much time on selling fruits.

The computer jumps to life as it presents me a search bar and shows listings of items and services underneath it. The mage is standing still beside the circle, obviously tired from working all day, he sits on his ass and looks off to the void.

i had line behind me, but when my buying price reached 50,000 the mage made everyone wait until i am done. i looked through every sellers information and made sure they were trusted.

i chose to become a ritual mage, even though it needs alot of background knowledge to get into it. the price was insane, i built my whole shopping list around it. it even came with a free starting book.

Rituals need alot of material, when i looked through items to buy for rituals. i came across a mobile traveling ritual set. items specifically picked out for taking the items with you as you travel. I probably could have gotten everything in the set for 6,000 if i buy every piece individually,

i dont have naturally high spirit so i needed to improve it. deciding to spend top price for permanent improvement rather then just stat improvements attached to the focus.

Now this is something that you would truly only find in the blackmarket. Blood essence theft. a truly banned skill. if you were caught using it, execution would be a mercy. any skill or item that mutilates or destroys a soul. It is considered sacrilege. When that happens, your punishment is complete destruction of the soul.

To avoid that, i bought an expensive ability hiding skill. it might not help me for now. But i am going to level it up as much as possible. its not like i have to learn the blood skill as soon as i get it.

i also bought a skill for me, i dont want to bend over and pick up item after item. i could just use magic. i am a mage now. telekinesis is not just useful for me being lazy. you can do tons of stuff with it. i did buy it purely for the lazy factor tho.

the main staple of mages is them being known for being knowledgeable, psychic orbs like this one are incredibly illegal. you need to kill someone and condense their knowledge. they can duplicate it multiple times, but after being duplicated to much, they will need to find another person and absorb their knowledge. i never got taught magic, i only learnt how to do practical skills like wood working and construction. Many stuff like that. magic is something incredibly foreign for me.

i only have 2,400 left. literally minutes ago it was 100,000+, i will be beyond devastated if any of the stuff i bought to be fake. The computer is awaiting confirmation that the transfer has been accepted. after a few seconds the confirmation goes through. It goes through each item and confirms the seller received the money.

Next person can come."The mage directs me to a waiting room next to the teleport circle. he walked back to the circle and covered the area with a curtain. if you look past the curtain, then you would be able to see light from the circle being used.

After 20 minutes he walks back with a large box with my stuff. I look on with a smile.
