One of the odd things about trying to go fast for a long time is everything starts to feel boring more quickly. So when I finally got close enough to the moon It was tempting just to crash into it but instead I stopped pulling a stone up to me putting it into my pocket space.

"is this moon even safe to touch?" I asked I'mp looking around the white glowing surface.

"yes, as long as your not here when the mana fills it so that it starts letting the slimes out." Imp said

"good." I said then took a moment to look around at the surface and back to the world below me, I had an odd moment where the world below me was stretched out but still flat and mostly water, it made my eyes hurt a little to look at to try and take it all in.

"how do I keep a portal here while also getting back down?" I muttered trying to think of the best way to have both.

Looking up at the fake sky with its stars shinning away next to the far to bright moon beside me I had to wonder. "So if the world loops, taking me back to the other edge if I fly to far. Then what is stopping me from just going up to get back to the land?"

"All the rock holding back the water from falling down into the world draining the beach and making a big nasty whorl pool and waterfall smashing everything below." Imp said watching me waiting for the next thing I was sure to come up with.

"Like a big toilet allays flushing and a sink always on." I said thinking "or... Like a full tub and the water running... So..."

I thought for a moment shapes and tub fixes flashing though my mind. "That means I just need a good plug." I said realizing that I really was so much smaller than the world around me and if I pushed though up passed the rock wall with just enough for me to get through the hole it left shouldn't be that big and if I did it close enough to the middle of the ocean then even the falling water and the draining water shouldn't really fuck up the whole world.

And if it did I could just plug it up, most likely using some stone from the mainland. I thought of the iron from the New York portal but I was worried about rust floating around in my water.

I floated back a little trying to use my find power to just find the best possible place I could to open a hole though the world but it fizzed.

"Too vague. Too meta." I'mp said frowning at me and seamed to be reading something I couldn't see.

"OK..." I thought for a moment then used the find power to find the thinnest point in the ocean bottom. seeing that it was right below the middle of the ocean I got hopeful.

Then I found where the water would flow out if I pushed a hole through it, getting the moon below me.

'well cant to that.' I thought. 'ether the water would wash away the moon or the slimes the moon could make would just eat up all the water below. With no reset on this world that slime mite grow to eat it all.'

Next I found the 'edge' of the ocean where the water would loop back to the other side of the world, then found where the loop would be closer to the water. Logically they should be near by, and I was right the egg shaped world that looped back on its self had what you could call an edge where the looping points met.

But that was practically down at the bottom near the waters edge.

So this time I just moved a little below the moon on the loops seeing that it would connect to the water below in a way that wouldn't touch the moon when it started poring out.

I pulled out a card blank that I had left over from making the cards for Lu and locked it into place 4' ahead of me and started flying slowly at the stars above me so I wouldn't just crash face first into the wall of stone.

It was a good thing I did too, the card stopped sharply on what seamed to be nothing at all in-between the stars.

It was also much closer to the moon then I thought, it seamed that the moon mite work as a sort of plug for the bottom of the world. Once on the other side I would check it out.

Moving to put my hands on the solid darkness I used a bit of vector crafting to carve a small chunk off the sky, wanting to know what it was before I started really digging. Half to be sure I even could cut through it properly and half to be sure it wasn't something that would shatter if I tried to build a plug out of it.

It seamed I was right, the stone that came off of the dark sky was the same as on the beach. The strange black stone that felt oddly cool and slick, that the Ants seamed to want to build with.

"Imp what is this stone anyway?" I asked looking over the lump I had made in the bright light of the moon I couldn't see anything but shiny black.

"Its quartz pure black quartz." Imp said still seaming to be reading something.

"Cool... is the sand the same?" I asked "and if so why is the sand so warm?"

"...Yes and just the way the place was made." Imp said dismissively.

"helpful." I replied flatly. "what are you so busy with anyway?"

"....The judges are all saying your being really boring." Imp snapped as if annoyed I was interrupting her and I noticed little twitches on her as if she was having a silent argument with some one.

Once again I was reminded that I had no proof that I'mp couldn't lie to me.

I put my stone into my pocket space then put my hands on the blank quartz above me, trying my best to push my power above and to put a wall of vectors to keep the water from spraying out onto me when I removed the stone.

Then I used vector crafting to shape the stone into a sort of half corkscrew puzzle peace, it should fit perfectly leaving no place for water to get in or out of once I put it back.

Then I put the thing into my inventory, it took up about the same amount of space as one of the cargo containers but much thinner and longer.

The vectors had worked stopping the water from falling onto me as I floated back up through the twisting tunnel.

I was lightly reminded of the covered slides I had played in as a kid but with my dark-vision, I could see the sharp cutting edges I had made that made this more like a nightmare some one who was claustrophobic would have.

I pushed the wall of water away from me just enough that I had room to stand on the seabed before putting the stone back.

I imagined the water falling form the bottom of the moon would make it look like the moon was making the water.

But the knowing that the stone was just quartz made me worried about erosion again, it mite not be so bad just sitting in the water but the constant flow over it would for sure expand any openings I made. Given enough time it mite even wash away the bottom completely.

A never ending falling mass of water, sand, and quartz crystals possibly mixed with the dead remains of the plant life.

I didn't like the idea, I liked the island how it was now. A peaceful place untouched by nearly anyone but me. That seamed much better then a place with a magic waterfall that slowly turns into a never ending storm of death.

'i am not evil.' I thought putting an end to the little bit of worrying thought in the back of my mind that would have said 'if you cant seam to change something to the way you like it with out it ending up a hell hole doesn't that make you evil?' if I had given it the chance.

After that brief twitch of a thought I let the water slowly come back to the spot I was standing using the find power to find any spots where the water was leaking through.

Luckily it seamed the odd shape I had made the plug really did work to keep the water from flowing back out.

Standing in the cool water for a moment to just enjoy the feeling I noticed a slight tug and realized I was too deep for this to be enjoyable with out my aura keeping me from feeling the pressure.

'its not so deep that it would kill me is it?' I asked Imp in my mind also realizing that the power of my vectors must have grown stronger then I thought to hold back the water like I had.

But then again I didn't really know the physics like I wanted to.

"No just enough to be uncomfortable and give you the bends if you came up to quick with out your powers." She said with a sigh and folded her arms, I got the feeling she had just lost an argument.

I nodded then started flying (swimming?) back to Eva's world.

The first thing I noticed was the all the color Purples, bright blues, white, and light pinks. Floating through the air like confetti the petals drifting on the wind coming out of the portal and settling to melt on the sand.

I landed a little confused at why the petals were melting like that.

Looking into the portal I saw huge bonsai looking trees where the petals were coming from falling like snow from clouds from there tops.

Up above the sky was a light blue a glow coming from it illuminating a traditional Japanese style mansion in dark reds and browns looking like it had been made out of mahogany and cherry wood.

On a balcony over looking a small pond with a rock fountain making a little waterfall, into a pool liked with rocks I saw Eva sitting in a large comfy looking chair.

Drifting up to her I felt the light winds that were stirring up the leaves in the trees, I was impressed with what she had made in a little over half an hour.

"Hey." She said watching the way the petals moved around me as I flew. With my aura set up the way it was the leaves floated around me slowly like they where floating on water.

"huh that's cool." I muttered looking at it for a moment as well.

"yeah... Well, you always were super into water." Eva said "I'm just a little amazed it wasn't your power."

"Yeah, i'm not sure how the powers even really work, or if it works like that..." I said "its been bothering me though."

"I'll bet." she said a little dismissively "So got that moon chunk or whatever?"

"Yeah..." I said a little surprised she was wanting it I watched her new face for a moment letting the back of my mind try and give me answers. 'the colors of this place ain't unnatural, the big chair she's sitting on doesn't have any stitching, and she's not listening to any music or on her computer just watching leaves.'

"couldn't make anything to complex or unnatural until I got back?" I asked seeing her eyes flicker a moment then blink.

"...Yeah. I told you that remember? I even got a quest that would upgrade the slime to be able to scan the things so it doesn't destroy the things it eats, and to be able to copy information like what a book actually said or whats on a disc instead of just knowing its a disc." she said a little eager.

"Oh yeah that's right" I said pulling out the little moon stone and handing it over.

"Sure that's going to be enough?"

"yeah shouldn't take much."

"ok..." The blue slime rose up though the pores of her palm coating the small stone before drinking it back in.

I could see her leveling up taking a moment to relax before opening her eyes. "Ok, so now I give you and Lu one then we give it to each other?"

"yeah pretty much." I said "then we would get all of each others powers. Speaking of Any powers you thought of? Cus I can think of a few you mite want."

Imp folded her arms making sure we both could see her disapproving look for a moment before looking back over the trees Eva had made.

"Like?"

"Like the power of having your slime live outside your body so it can go do things for you like go copy everything in the house so you don't have to go touch everything."

"Ok yes to that, but what else?" she asked

I sent that power to her. "the slime being able to turn into any-most things then stay like that until you tell it to stop." I said Thinking about other powers but realizing that she really didn't need much else once we got Lu's powers. "A communication power like super magic cell phone."

"OK?... I mean I could see that." she said and I sent her the powers trying to make the communication power the strongest one.

"Cool." she said hitting accept. "now your going to go find Lu and bring him back here?"

"Just use your communication power." I said a little annoyed "i just gave it to you."

"isn't there some sort of time fucky thing?" she asked with a frown.

"oh... yeah." I said feeling a little dumb "hmmm. Im not sure he's in the world."

"OK?" She said trying her screen to call Lu. I couldn't see what was going on in the screen but she laughed a bit telling Lu who it was and to get to the beach.

'i did leave the portal open right?' I silently asked Imp

"yeah." she said giving me a confused look.

I blinked for a moment holding my head feeling a light buzz coming from it like I was getting sleepy, but I had powers to stop that so I wasn't sure what was going on.

Imps face grew angry again and started glaring into the air.

"Lets go back to the beach to do this." I said looking around at the building and world around us. "im just a little bit worried about what would happen to us if we where in here while a major power change happened."

"OK?" Eva gave me a look that said 'i think your being a little dumb but you do know this stuff more then me and I don't wanna fight about it.'

I held out my hand. "My lady."

She rolled her eyes but smiled a little taking my hand and I flew us back to the beach, landing right as Lu was coming back little brown dog like thing beside him.

"what is that?" I asked frowning.

"My quest reward" Lu said proudly "Its an Eevee it can can evolve and devolve at any time and use any of the moves."

"sweet." I said "looks like you got a slot freed up."

"mmhmm" Lu said then got a tight lipped odd face pulled back look that said 'Im not saying something that would make you mad and laughing a little at you for not knowing the thing.'

I narrowed my eyes. "you didn't get the points for all 5 permanent people did you?"

He scoffed annoyed I figured it out "no... After the quest completed I got distracted with Eevee."

"right." I said "well I get that you always wanted one and it was half the point of getting all 5 was to let you have an eevee at all times."

Eva was already petting the small animal. "Dose he count as a power?"

I frowned glancing up at Imp who nodded. "yep" I said

"...hmmm can it be a kitsune instead?" She asked

"No" Imp said "its an eevee and its forms it can be upgraded or modified but its not a Kitsune."

"Oookeeey." I said thinking "well you could use that for your other 2 permanent summons."

Lu was frowning looking down, then Kinda pulled the Eevee away from Eva picking it up and holding it. "So when I get the slime I can give it to Eevee too right?"

"Yep." Both me and Imp said at the same time.

"good." He said.

"yeah." I said and we both looked at Eva who looked between us for a moment before holding up her hands focusing as slime grew up in her hands oddly instead of the brightly glowing light blue slime one was a bright blood red and the other was a light gray-blue.

"I CALL RED" Lu yelled so fast I only caught that he had said red snatching up the blood red one nearly smacking Eva's hand out of the air as he did so.

I glared at him. "watch it. I was going to let you have the red, dick"

He did a half shrug pulling the slime to his chest after a moment he seamed confused then angry as the slime started to bond with him soaking into his shirt then his hands as he tried to pull it off in silent pain.

"hmmm." I said as Eva looked a little worried. "I thought of a new power to give you. Able to let slimes bond to people super quickly and easily."

I sent her the new power as Lu fell to the sand passed out as his Eevee stood by him seaming like a robot put in stand by.

"good call." she said accepting the power dismissing the slime she already had and making a new one. This one was shiny in a bubble way seaming mostly clear.

"What do you call that?" I asked

"Well I was thinking about how much you like water so I guess its mostly clear?" she gave a half shrug

"Cool" I said holding out my hand for it she let it fall out of her hand onto mine and the cold clear slime sunk into my hand like I was drinking it.

I could feel the cold liquid flowing into my arm then body feeling similar to my own upgrade power. Feeling a little sharper as I could feel the changes it was making to my body.
