He saw the ceiling of his bedroom with those pupils and he not only also saw the ceiling of his bedroom but also the strands of the world and the divine Qi. He reached out with his right hand to grab one of those strands but his hand went right through it. He furrowed his eyebrows. Then, he closed his eyes and sensed the strands of the world and the divine Qi. He absorbed one of each strand into his body, moved them through his meridians into his dantian, split the strand of the world Qi into the five elements: fire, earth, metal, wood and water and the strand of the divine Qi into the six elements: life, death, light, shadow, order and disorder. He split the six elements of the divine Qi into five equal parts and fused each of the five parts with each of the world Qi elements. Then, he fused the divine fire element, the divine earth element, the divine metal element, the divine wood element and the divine water element into one and absorbed it into his dantian. His cultivation rose from rank six of the body refinement realm all the way to rank six of the body solidification realm which was the second realm of cultivation and the knocking sound sounded again. He opened his eyes, got off the bed, walked up to the door and opened it. He saw Yuan Hao and his Qi which was at rank nine of the body solidification realm.

“You finally opened the door, brother-in-law!” Yuan Hao shouted out, but then his eyes widened as he saw Xiao Feng’s pupils. “What happened to your eyes, brother-in-law? Your eye pupils are not round but in the shape of thin distorted diamonds.”

Xiao Feng nodded his head in understanding and thought, “Training my body in the first level of the divine black dragon emperor body strengthening technique must have changed my pupils from round pupils into thin distorted diamond pupils and because of my new pupils, I can now see strands of the world and the divine Qi. I wonder how my body will change when I train my body in the second, the third, the fourth, the fifth, the sixth, the seventh, the eighth and the ninth level of the divine black dragon emperor body strengthening technique. And how my body will change when I train my body in the first, the second, the third, the fourth, the fifth, the sixth, the seventh, the eighth and the ninth level of the body strengthening of a tyrannical emperor. I can’t wait!” He smiled.

Yuan Hao waited a few minutes for Xiao Feng’s answer as to why were his pupils now shaped like thin distorted diamonds. But seeing that he wouldn’t get one, he sighed out, shook his head and said, “Brother-in-law, let’s go get my sister and let’s do a mission.”

Xiao Feng nodded his head in agreement. “Alright. Let’s go.”

“Great!” Yuan Hao said. He led Xiao Feng to Yuan Meiying’s house and knocked on its door. But the door remained closed with no signs of opening. He knocked on it again but nothing changed. “She must be cultivating or training her body in a body strengthening technique,” he said. “Either way, it will be just the two of us this time, brother-in-law.”

“Let’s go to the mission centre,” Xiao Feng said.

“Let’s,” Yuan Hao said.

Xiao Feng and Yuan Hao left the outer disciple peak and made their way to the mission centre. They entered it.

“I will take the east mission board and you take the west mission board, then we will take the north mission board together,” Yuan Hao said.

“Alright,” Xiao Feng said. He and Yuan Hao walked to the west mission board and the east mission board respectively.

Arriving at it, Xiao Feng immediately looked at the first killing mission.
