It didn’t take long for Xiao Feng, Yuan Hao and Yuan Meiying to arrive at the teleport formation as it was just beside the mission centre. When they arrived at it, they saw a man of around thirty or forty years old standing by it. He had long black hair, light-blue eyes and wore a blue robe with a graceful crane embroidered on it. He was from the Zan family. Yuan Meiying raised and extended her right arm, pointing at him with her index finger. “Do you see that man, Xiao Feng?”
“Yeah,” Xiao Feng said as he nodded his head in agreement.
“He is the elder of the teleport formation,” Yuan Meiying explained. “We have to show him the permission that we got from the mission centre and he will activate the teleport formation and teleport us to the location written on it. In our case – readwell wood.”
“I see,” Xiao Feng said as he nodded his head in understanding.
“Let’s go,” Yuan Hao said. He, Yuan Meiying and Xiao Feng walked up to the elder of the teleport formation and stopped in front of him.
“It’s a pleasure to see you again, ninth prince, fifth princess,” the elder of the teleport formation said as he looked from Yuan Hao to Yuan Meiying. Then, he looked at Xiao Feng and back at the royal Yuan siblings. “Is he with you two?”
“Yes,” Yuan Hao said. “He is with us.” He looked at Xiao Feng. “Xiao Feng, show the elder the permission that we got from the mission centre.”
“I know,” Xiao Feng said.
Yuan Hao harrumphed while Yuan Meiying smiled.
From his robe, Xiao Feng pulled out the permission to teleport to the location – readwell wood and gave it to the teleport formation elder.

The teleport formation elder nodded his head. From his robe, he pulled out three wood slips and gave them to Xiao Feng, Yuan Hao and Yuan Meiying.
“What’s this?” Xiao Feng said as he looked at the wood slip in his hand.
“This is the return formation,” as the elder of the teleport formation said, Yuan Hao and Yuan Meiying put their return formations into their robes. “If you crush it, walk out of the readwell wood or twenty-four hours passes, you will be teleported back to the peerless sect. Now then, step into the teleport formation.”
Xiao Feng nodded his head in understanding and put his return formation into his robe. He, Yuan Hao and Yuan Meiying walked into the teleport formation.
“Formation activate!” the elder of the teleport formation said and the formation in which Xiao Feng, Yuan Hao and Yuan Meiying stood, lit up. Then, a short moment passed and the three of them disappeared from it. They appeared inside a forest.
Xiao Feng, Yuan Hao and Yuan Meiying looked around. And everywhere they looked, they saw tall grass and tall trees. They also saw a few birds and a few small animals.
Yuan Hao looked at Xiao Feng. “Xiao Feng, will you be joining in my and my sister’s game?”
Xiao Feng looked at Yuan Hao. “What game?” he said as he tilted his head in confusion.
Yuan Meiying looked at Yuan Hao. “Not this time, brother. This time, I won’t be playing our game.”
Yuan Hao frowned and looked at Yuan Meiying. “Why?”
Yuan Meiying looked at Xiao Feng. “Let’s go hunt magical beasts.”
“What’s the game?” Xiao Feng said.
Yuan Hao looked at Xiao Feng. “We hunt magical beasts for three hours and then whoever has the most magical beast cores after three hours, gets them all.”

“Sounds interesting,” Xiao Feng said. “I will play.”
Yuan Hao widely smiled. He raised and extended his right arm, pointing at Xiao Feng with his index finger. “You are on, Xiao Feng!”
Yuan Meiying sighed. “Then, I will play as well. But Xiao Feng and I will hunt magical beasts as a team.”
Xiao Feng and Yuan Hao frowned and looked at Yuan Meiying.
Yuan Meiying sighed again. “Fine! We will all be on separate teams!”
Yuan Hao and Xiao Feng nodded their heads in unison.
“Let’s begin!” Yuan Hao shouted out.
“Yeah!” Xiao Feng and Yuan Meiying shouted out in unison.
Xiao Feng, Yuan Hao and Yuan Meiying walked in different directions.
After walking in a straight line for a full five minutes, Xiao Feng stopped as he saw fifteen boars, eight were laying under the sun with closed eyes and seven were drinking from a lake. Focusing on them, Xiao Feng sensed that each and every boar had less than half of his Qi. He smiled and ran towards them as they had only less than half of his Qi.

The Last Journey
A slice of life litrpg story... or is it? It's burning slow, though. Moving on: War comes with a great cost. Lives and time wasted for most part. One could either be run with sword, be poisoned, be bowed, and sometimes meet their end with just a tiny speck of wood. With magic, it becomes even more colorful. From lightning, to worse poison, to hovering rocks, to weird bladed leaves, to whipping roots, and to a lot more odd things easily reasoned with magic. A wonderful creation. But once used to something more than wonder, more than tricks to gather laughs, it becomes worse. War becomes worse. For there is not only blood to be spilled. A particular town almost met the same end. Soldiers geared with swrords and bows came with mounts. Horses burning lush grasses as it cracked boulders and the soil alike with every step. The kind that only war ones could ever do. Even strange wheeled creations that oozed danger were towed, loaded with something meant to destroy. But not once had they acted upon what such devices should've done, nor what an an army is supposed to do. Siege never occurred, as much as a command to war. No. Magic existed so a simple little fire is all the worth the town has. No sword drawn, no arrows nocked, nothing. Just some mana spent and through the ash they march. That was how Nudius saw her end. It came not even as a surprise. She didn't have the moment to fully register what occurred before she found herself in an empty dark space. Life lost, time spent. All from a fire that had not even touched her. But she knew very well that it was magic. Something she wished to have and strived for to have. Yet it seemed that none of it would matter now. Nudius was well aware of what the color around meant, of the odd situation, of the unfeeling state of her being. It was death and that was it. She didn't have to worry or dream further. Although there wasn't what she truly wanted in what death to her is, but at least, Nudius was comforted to what she believed death is. Rest. But little did she know there's something more than that empty space. It wasn't only the promise of rest, but was also more than she could ever hope for. Another chance at life. Another chance to dream. ***Tags are there just in case. You never know! Umm... HI-MI-TSU. Story blurb+: This is slow burn, quite slice of life story about a girl learning magic. All the while as she fatten herself up. So yeah, progression fantasy. But there's Litrpg! Numbers! Magic! Spells! And of course! There's something more. But read on ahead, please. Oh yes. Plot! There is, too. Disclaimer: The cover isn't made by me. Just layered it with a text. I got it from a free website, if I correctly recall. I'll see to it. (Haven't worked on it.)
