《Worlds: The Beginning!》Prologue

Hundreds of billions of years ago there existed only a single continent – the divine continent, and it was split into three great civilisations: the tyrannical beast civilisation – Rayok, the magical beast civilisation – Larik and the human civilisation – Eden. Each of these three great civilisations had an emperor ruling over them. These three emperors were existences that could kill anyone that they wished but each other with but just a single thought while being billions of kilometres away.
The three great civilisations lived in peace for many years. But at some point, conflicts started to arise between them and before long an all-out war began. The war lasted for a very long time. So long, that humans, tyrannical beasts and magical beasts forgot what it was like before the war. But even though they forgot, they were forced to return to the times of peace as Eden’s emperor beheaded the tyrannical and magical beasts emperors and ended the war. In the aftermath, Eden’s emperor claimed the lands of Rayok and Larik as his own and made tyrannical beasts into slaves and magical beasts into mounts.
Years passed and Eden’s emperor entered secluded cultivation in a place that was not known to anyone. But at that time, the tyrannical and magical beasts rebelled. They didn’t kill the humans but used a terrifying technique on them which made them into soulless puppets that would do anything they were ordered to do. And in just a single year’s time, there wasn’t a single human that wasn’t under the effects of that terrifying technique.
It was many more years later when Eden’s emperor left his secluded cultivation. And when he did, he felt that something was terribly wrong. He rushed back to the capital of his great civilisation. But before reaching it, he came across humans wearing nothing but chains on their necks and lifelessly following a few tyrannical and magical beasts. This sight enraged him. So much, that the very weather was influenced by it. The earth shook, volcanos erupted, snow fell, winds howled and thunder reigned down.

The tyrannical and magical beasts from all over the continent witnessed these phenomenons and they all knew that Eden’s emperor must be out of his secluded cultivation. But they weren’t afraid in the slightest as they were all sure that their technique wouldn’t fail them. They all started looking around themselves, searching for Eden’s emperor. And the tyrannical and magical beasts that Eden’s emperor glared at saw him. They all broadly smiled.
“You will all die!” Eden’s emperor roared as he charged at the tyrannical and magical beasts before him. But before he could reach them something inconceivable happened – he stopped. Why? Because one the tyrannical beasts shouted out, “Stop!” Seeing that Eden’s emperor stopped, the beasts burst into loud laughter.
“You will all die!” Eden’s emperor roared the same words once again and countless thunderbolts descended.
The beasts stopped laughing and looked into Eden’s emperor eyes. But as they did, they became terrified as instead of soulless eyes, they saw bloodshot eyes full of rage.
“Kill yourself!” the tyrannical beast shouted out and the other beasts started loudly laughing once again.
But nothing happened and the loud laughter stopped.
“Didn’t you hear me?! I ordered you! Kill yourself!”
Eden’s emperor moved and all the beasts burst into laughter for the third time. But their laughter soon stopped when they saw one of their own disappear into nothing but dust. “Impossible…” one of them mumbled while the others took a few steps back.
Eden’s emperor killed the remaining beasts and walked up to the chained humans. He saw their lifeless eyes and a worried look appeared on his face. “Please be safe,” he mumbled and ran towards Eden’s capital in his fastest speed. Reaching it, he went inside the city and made his way to its depths as it was where the castle stood and his family lived. But when he entered his courtyard, he saw his son completely nude and all fours with a huge chain around his neck and his wife and daughters being raped by tyrannical and magical beasts.

“You bastards?!” Eden’s emperor roared. He killed all the tyrannical and magical beasts. Then, he collapsed on his knees and wept as he apologised. He did it for seven days and seven nights. On the eighth morning, he vowed that he would find a way to return his family and everyone else back to normal before leaving Eden’s capital.
For the next thousand years, Eden’s emperor scoured the continent, first questioning and then killing the tyrannical and magical beasts that he came across. But not one of them knew how to return someone under the technique back to normal. They didn’t even know what the technique was called or who taught it to them.
“It has been a thousand years,” Eden’s emperor mumbled as he gazed upon the beautiful full moon. “I won’t make you wait for another thousand.” He closed his eyes and apologised in his heart to his family and his subjects. He severed his soul from his body and cut it into three parts. One part contained 70% of his soul while the others contained 25% and 5%. He used the biggest part to create a barrier around the capital city of the great civilisation Eden which in the future would be known as Eden. This barrier was created to keep the tyrannical and magical beasts out. He used 25% of his soul to create protection for all humans against the tyrannical and magical beast’s technique but he miscalculated as it was not enough. His soul could only protect those that have already reached adulthood. The last 5% he used to return every single human back to normal.
