《-The World Saga-》Chapter 47: Visions

“The world is doomed.” Father sits at his throne looking at his sons. His first son looks up at him.
“Father. Is there any way we can save it?” A loud clap rings out over the white room causing a few cracks to run up the wall.
“Nothing can help it. We can do nothing as long as he remains down there. His power is strong enough to kill us all.” The second brother looks up at him.
“Maybe our...” Another loud clap rings out.
“My daughter is gone. I cannot find her in all of the world down there.” The third one looks up at him.
“What about the girl Father?” Father pauses thinking over something.
“Hmm... perhaps she can do something.” Another loud clap rings out throughout the white room. The fourth one looks up.
“How do we get her the message Father?” Father looks down into an orb at the center of the room. The four brothers look at each other as the second one stands up. Father looks at his son.
“Thank you, my son.” The room starts to swirl as I sit up in my bed holding my head. I hear someone sparring outside as I stand up from my bed. I go over to the dresser looking into the mirror. My light green eyes shine in the light. I look at the recent haircut I got instantly regretting it. It makes me look more like a child. I put on some clothes that hang from my body. I head downstairs going to the kitchen. I make some eggs bringing them over to Zona’s room. I knock on the door slightly opening it.
“Zona... I brought you some food.” I look in to see Zona still in her bed covered up in blankets. I sigh bringing over the plate sitting it next to her bed. I take the other plate I made for her last night. She hasn’t eaten anything for a few days now. I go to touch her but the flame in the fireplace flares up. I slowly back out of the room. The fire slowly goes down as I close the door. I head back to the kitchen dumping out the food. I look outside to see Jake training with a sword. Jake has opened a little bit these last couple months. Instead of the constant demands, he has developed some normal human feelings. I walk outside watching Jake spear. He knocks the dummy over one last time before looking over at me.

“Instead of standing there, I could teach you how to fight.” I roll my eyes leaning against the wall.
“I would rather have someone who actually could say a positive comment instead of a jerk who control issues.” Jake slightly smirks walking over to me. I forgave him from what happened with James. Jake didn’t ask to be brought back. The people responsible for Jake being brought back have disappeared. Roasland and his gang of doctors. Jake searches for them whenever he isn’t on a mission for Lord Lionheart or training.
“Such a shame. You could be an excellent fighter. Your small frame gives you an advantage.” I stop somewhat shocked at the compliment.
“How so?” He walks over drinking from a cup. His body is wet from his workout and training.
“People would underestimate you.” I huff sitting on the steps that lead to his house.
“I had another vision, I think. It was a little hazy, but I think one of them is coming for Zona.” Jake looks at me unamused.
“Why?” I shrug.
“She is the only person who can defeat Grant. The gods are terrified of Grant. Said that he could actually kill them.” Jake grumbles dipping his cup in a nearby bucket.
“I thought only a god could kill these things.” I shrug starting to feel bad for her.
“I still don’t know what or how my visions work. Maybe Zona has godlike abilities. But...” Jake finishes the rest of his drink placing the cup next to the bucket.
“Well if Zona is not going to do anything about Grant, it is going to have to be us.” I sigh looking up at the sky. For the first time in all of history, the Green Belt is experiencing snow. At first, people started freaking out not understanding where all the snow was coming from. The military has ensured us that these were effects from the Church of the Brothers. As far as anyone knows, the church is all but gone now. With everyone turning against them, they all left. “Also. I am ready for our session.”

“Oh okay. Lead the way.” Jake leads me to his bedroom. I’ve been coming to grips with my not so magical abilities. My headaches aren’t as bad as they once where and I can somewhat control my visions. Apparently, he can’t die if his sister is alive. Explaining how he survived the attacks from his friends. I really don’t fully understand what I am doing but I try my best to keep my promise. Once in the bedroom, Jake lays on the bed trying to relax. I grab ahold of his arm images fill my head.
Anna runs through a snowy mountain range play. She jumps over a fallen tree hiding underneath it. Something jumps over it sniffing the air. The creature looks human except for the black veins on it’s body. It looks at Anna as a tendril rushes toward her. I let go of Jake trying to catch myself on the bed. Jake catches me lifting me back to my feet. “What did you see?” He asks somewhat impatiently. I’ve noticed when it comes to his sister; he is impatient.
“I saw the same creature from before.” He hides his anger standing up.
“Alright.” He stomps out of the room. I sigh sitting on his bed. My minor headache slowly leaves me. I stand up leaving the room to hear someone banging on the front door. I open it to see a solider standing there. I look at him waiting for him to speak.
“Is Captain Jake home miss?” Jake comes from the kitchen looking a little more calmed.
“What is it soldier?” The solider digs into his bag handing over a letter. Jake takes it reading it over.
“Monsters are attacking again?” The soldier nods.
“Yes sir. There have been multiple attacks on the road’s miles north of here. Lord Lionheart is declaring a final war on the Northern Savages.” Jake frowns putting the message away.
“Very well. I will meet with him later to discuss the tactics.” The messenger nods leaving the house. Jake closes the door looking at me.
“You need to convince Zona Everlast to get up. We are going to be moving soon.” I pause slightly shocked.
“Why are the monsters attacking again?”
“Maybe Grant? I have no idea. I need to talk to Lord Lionheart to figure it out.” Lord Lionheart has been a blessing in disguise for us. He let Jake back in his position as a high-ranking captain. He pardoned Zona for her supposed crimes. I would honestly call him a friend.
“Wait. how am I supposed to get Zona up?” He shrugs heading to his room.
“Guess you will have to figure it out.”

Dungeon Maker
Ace Cross is not your typical NEET, although he has all the making of one and is recluse, he is still a very outdoor type of person. One day he is killed (by a truck no less even after dodging off the road) his soul was going to white light in the sky (the sun) but before he could arrive a magical circle appears and he is pulled in and given a second chance at life in a magical world under the most cliche trope of anime, as a summoned hero. He isn't 'the' hero though, he got the most uncommon hero class and something that has been extinct in all the nations blocking the advance of the demon lord. That is the Dungeon Maker. As a very unusual class that makes not only death traps but proper dungeons with ecosystems, this is the life of humanities first dungeon maker in 1,000 years since the demon lord war began. This is not just a story of battling the demon lord but also of how our heroes making a new life force themselves as all of them died in their original worlds.

Artificial Mind[Edited]
AI creation is something that has been on the minds of people for decades. The concept of artificial minds learning just like us. Maybe even better than us. This idea is something people have strived to make more than conceptual. But, they have failed. Until now. This is an edited version of another fiction of mine. Cover by Astria

People. Harmony. Dysfunction
[Hiatus]People are extraordinary. They are glorious, chaotic, imaginative, grim, all kinds of smart and driven. They are capable of living in harmony or incredible destruction. They can be both caring and loyal but vicious and self-centred. However, Olivia wished that the first year of her PhD didn't have to showcase quite so much of the melting pot. People. Harmony. Dysfunction. is a story that follows a research group through the drama and challenges life throws at them. It has an (unspecified) modern setting and focuses on the characters. I've tried to rate this pre-emptively, but unfortunately it might change as the story evolves.

Stray Sheep
My take on the "another world" genre. This is also my first fiction, so expect mistakes... Updates every sunday (at least. I might update more than one time a week if I feel like it). Every update will have around 2.000 words (at least for now).

Door 42
A first person account of an unplanned trip to a secret moon base, where I make new and interesting friends, reopen the moon's most amazing backalley bar, and rediscover the long forgotten secrets of lunar land speed racing and the moon's first hot rod club... and then some. Soon to be a campy, direct to DVD B-movie featuring Bruce Campbell as "Al"! (No, not really... but it sounds good in my head.) I write a better story than a synopsis, I promise.
