Rabon Fooz's POV-
"You know there are times when you have to choose between some things. If there comes a time when I have to choose between my mother or myself, I would choose my mother over me. So I will ask you a question now. If you don't want to answer I would not force you." I took my chances and built up my conversation for the final question which I believe had the answer for everything he had gone through. I paused for a minute, breathing in, calming myself.
"If anything were to happen to your family, you would choose violence right? " I asked with my heart ready to jump out of my mouth. I kept looking at his expressions. There was a bit of a change but nothing major. I waited for him to answer but he was still not answering. I gave him a bit more time but I knew it was the end as he had moved his head to the side. I sighed and looked towards the tree. Maybe I would never know what happened. I stood up and started walking towards the warrior in the distance.
"Yes... I would and have chosen violence for my family. " A deep voice from King's mouth finally came out. I turned around in shock to see the king looking at me. His eyes pierced me for bringing up a hurting memory. I went back and sat beside him.
"I.... *COUGH*... I just wanted... *COUGH*... " the situation was not looking good for the king as he was on his last breaths. I grabbed his hand with my remaining hand trying to comfort him. But then with a jolt, I found myself in a black alley.
I couldn't comprehend what was going on. I tried moving but the body was not listening to me. Then suddenly it began moving but not the way I wanted. I moved like I knew where I was but the place was completely new to me. There were no lights but lamps on the streets which were not asphalt. The houses were built with mud, it was all strange. Had I traveled back in time?
I kept walking until I was out of the village and climbed a big tree. There was a tree house built there presumably by my body. I entered the house and instantly I felt a cozy feeling. I lighted the fire and cooked food on it. It was weird I could feel everything from the body but it was not in my control. After eating I went to sleep. The next day I woke up early and went hunting for food. I was quite good at setting traps and catching animals. In the evening I went to the village to sell the meat and exchange it for grains. Then I would come back home, cook my food, and sleep.

At this point, I could guess that I was in the young King's body. But what is the meaning of this? Did he want me to see by himself what happened? I will have to see it by myself.
A year went by and I kept repeating the same routine every day. Then suddenly one day a caravan set a camp not far away from my tree. I didn't pay much attention to it as I went to set up the traps. But this day was not the same as when I got back I saw a girl in one of my rope traps. I ran to set her free from the trap but was attacked by a big sword. I somehow dodged the sword and looked at the one who attacked me. It was an old man who thought I was going to attack the girl. He winded up another attack but was stopped by the girl as one of the other people who came with the old man freed her. She came to me and apologized for ruining my trap.
I know this is not my body and the feeling does not belong to me. But after my body saw her I immediately knew something had happened to me. It was love.
Her green hazy eyes, her long hair, and her smile had taken my heart. I was not able to answer anything. She asked me if I wanted anything in return. But how could I ask someone as beautiful as her for something? I refused as they began to leave. She held the hand of the old man with the big sword which made me furious. I stopped them again and asked if I could get some compensation for before. The girl lost some of her respect for me but I had to ask for something.
I asked for the big sword as compensation.
