Risa's POV-
"Hey, guys stop we need to talk," Givi shouted stopping Kiara and Bala. Rabon also chimed in to hear what was happening.
"What happened Givi?" Bala asked a bit worried. I shared the same sentiment because Givi was not the one t show emotions but right now clear anger and fear could be seen on her face.
"Do you see that guy right there?" She said pointing towards the silver-haired boy. Everyone apart from me nodded.
"Stay away from that guy. He is the embodiment of evil." Givi explained while huffing and puffing.
"But what happened? Did he do something to you?" Kiara asked suspiciously. It was a bit suspicious how Givi was acting. Did he do something bad to her or something?
"He is one of the worst people in school. He is the son of the 3rd branch of the Garden and-" as soon as Givi told us this Kiara suddenly became something else. Her eyes turned red and her hair covered her face. Bala quickly hit her behind the neck making her unconscious.
"Sorry for that but don't mention Garden in front of her. She might lash out." Bala said while holding Kiara's body.
"But we too are fro-" Givi got stopped again but this time by Rabon. He clearly looked worried about whatever Givi was going to say.
"He-... Hey, I think we should take her to the infirmary," he worryingly said to Bala.
"She is fine. But just in case maybe I should go to the infirmary. You guys can continue your practice right now and we will talk about this later." Bala said as he picked up Kiara and started walking out of the stadium. But then he suddenly stopped.
"Hey, Rabon do me a favor and carry Kiara to the infirmary," Bala said but something had changed about him.

"What are you going to.....never mind, let me carry her," Rabon said without any hesitation.
Bala handed Kiara to him and came towards us. He looked deep into Givi's eyes and asked something.
"Was there any conflict between him and Mirik by any chance?" Bala asked in a calm manner which gave Givi cold sweat.
"....Yes." as soon as Givi replied Bala had moved from our position towards the place where he was sparring with Kiara. He picked up his spear and looked at it from the bottom to the top. After checking it thoroughly he nodded and started walking toward the silver-haired boy.
"You look free. Why don't you spar with me." Bala said with a smile.
"....I have no interest in fighting with weak people." the silver-haired guy replied.
"What if that weak guy is the brother of someone you hate?" Bala replied with a smirk.
"....Who the hell are you? Do you even know who I am?" he said now angry at the statement Bala made. He started to lose his temper and looked like he would attack any time.
"I don't know about you but my name is Bala Diman."

Path of Salt
After running off with his best friend to fight as Mercenaries, Tobias found out that he wasn't built for battle. Swiftly defeated but not dead, he could only lay down on the grass, and watch as Marcus fought off their enemies almost singlehandedly. Both of them survived that battlefield, and they both decided to return back to their Village. Tobias' ideals and expectations were shattered by the reality of War, so he decided to settle down instead. On the other hand, something awakened within Marcus. He woke up one day, only to be greeted by a floating panel of light. [Name: ... Marcus][Race: ... Human][Class: ... ... ...] [Hero] [Welcome to the System] What is a village-born Hero to do, but answer his calling? Current schedule: No chapters for the next few months. I'm still writing the entirety of Volume 2. WARNINGS:-Yes, this contains LitRPG elements after a slow start, promise.-This work is incredibly Slice-of-Life heavy-Also conversation heavy-Also plot heavy (But not in that way, unfortunately)-The pacing in terms of plot is slow -(Edit after a review)- This story is also known as: I honestly don't understand what's the difference between "light" and "dark" stories. I realized that far too late, so this story is... weird. It might be light at times, and dark at times, and in all honesty, definitely has dark undertones. Oh, and prepare to be disappointed or pleased by this story; I understand that this story is polarizing, at least. Cover made by: Fei (@Chippy03966650) / Twitter

Delicate as Glass
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Nuri, an [Assistant Glassworker], only has a single Skill. It’s really not fair. He’s worked in the hot shop his entire life, following in his father’s footsteps after his parents passed away, but he’s stuck. Despite possessing above-average talent as an artisan, he still hasn’t shed his [Assistant] status, gained a second Skill, or even leveled enough to reach the first Threshold. Besides, he’s bored; most days he daydreams of adventure and becoming a hero, or pines for the renown that’s sure to be his if he evolves his Class into a [Master Glass Smith], but nothing ever changes—until suddenly, fate strikes, and nothing is ever the same again. These days, Nuri sees more magic, prestige, and adventure than he can handle as he gets swept up in realm-shaking conspiracies and desperate fights for his life. Maybe a boring life wasn’t so bad after all. Disclaimers: 1) Names were mostly chosen through random generators and aren’t necessarily final. If they seem derivative or boring, blame RNG. 2) Skills, Classes, levels, and the entire system is currently a work in progress; please be kind if it’s not very well fleshed out yet. 3) This is the first full-length novel I've set out to write without a single plot point ready. I had nothing in mind other than a recent visit to a hot shop. Molten glass is pretty awesome. 4) Related, I know much less about glass than I’d like. I did some research, but mistakes are bound to happen. If you have a correction, thanks! Please be polite about it. 5) The prose is my experimental attempt at first-person, present tense. I realize it may not be everyone’s preference, but I hope you’ll give it a try anyway!
