《i Hunt Mansters?》Chapter 9: I passed out, again?

*[ Regeneration skill is not on a sufficient level to heal completely. Partial remodeling of tissues has started. ]*
“Ehh?”
He was almost on the verge of passing out due to the bleeding but the only thing which was keeping him conscious was his pain.
But suddenly,
“Accurate Modelling”.
He heard a sweet voice from someone.
The pain he was having from the wound had started vanishing.
‘What is happening?’
He passed out even before he could fully grasp the situation. It was none other than Saniya who was tending to his injuries.
She was actually a high level healer and had multiple skills related to healing.
‘What is this?’
‘It almost feels like someone is helping me out.’
As she started healing, ‘Regeneration’ skill was also trying its best to heal him. Amidst the fight, she was shocked to see Saransh when he appeared out of nowhere in front of the manster and she was able to tend to Diya’s injuries because of it. Unlike Saransh, Diya was wearing an armor and was able to withstand most of the manster’s attack.
After a couple of minutes,
‘Where the hell am I?’
Saransh almost felt like waking up from a really bad dream. He could still feel terrible pain all over his body.
‘Oh… I got sliced up by a manster didn’t I?’
As if it was most important thing to do, he looked at his injury.
“It healed up?”
He was surprised to see his wound which was completely healed up leaving a scar in his abdomen.
“Did Saniya do this?”
*[ Yupp, mostly!!] *
Mira who was bored replied almost instantly.
What surprised him most was his surroundings.
“Where the hell is everyone?”
He couldn’t see anyone at all in his vicinity.
*[Oh… they left!!] *
“What??”
Saransh felt like an abandoned child as soon as Mira said it.
He looked around to see tons of manster corpses and huntsmen alike but he couldn’t see the people who just brought him back to life.
“Where did they go?”
*[They looked pretty urgent and went inside the second platform.] *
“What?? The platform which heads to the Defense Vault?”
*[Yupp!] *
He looked at the second platform which was pretty much broken down.

‘if they are headed there, then It looks like the mansters came from there after all.’
He had his suspicions earlier as to how did the mansters infiltrate the vault but now the answer was right in front of him.
“I certainly don’t think I should head there!!”
*[That would be good for you!] *
*[I could sense intense plasma coming out from the vault.] *
“Is it a battle?”
*[Exactly…] *
Since he knew the results of the current battle, he was sure of the fact that he might be holding them back if he went to join the battle.
‘Even the Astro Sound skill failed me last time!’
‘If the train has arrived, I should head towards my vault.’
He started heading towards the platform which led to his home vault.
“Whew… There are no mansters left.”
All there was left of the battle was manster corpses and nothing else.
*[ I don’t sense any mansters either!] *
As he was making his way through the corpses all around him, he found something rather peculiar.
“What the hell?”
“Isn’t that the shadow manster?”
He was familiar with the shadow mansters corpse which was lying on the ground. But the peculiar thing about the situation was its sword.
“Wasn’t the sword black previously??”
The sword which was beside the shadow manster was not black but looked like regular sword.
*[The only explanation would be its skill!] *
“So it must be the skill of the shadow manster which made it look so dreadful.”
*[It has also restored to its normal size] *
“Whew… that is such an awesome skill!!”
He picked up the sword in his hands and was amused by its light-weight. Even though he was level 4, he could hold the sword which was once wielded by a level 19 manster. Soon enough a notification popped up.
*[Weapon recognized!] *
“What really…? I though the wrist band was just broken and couldn’t identify any weapons at all!”
Since morning, it was the first time a weapon got identified.
*[Oh… Shut Up!] *
“Ok let’s view stats!”
*[Weapon Stats] *
Name: Innovator’s Blade Class: Paramount Order Level: 1 Core: Lv20 Description: Sword made by a smith of the paramount order using the core of a level 20 manster. This sword supports all major grades of skills depending upon the wielder. This sword is carved using the innovations from both alchemy and smithing alike.

Saransh’s eyes were glowing in excitement.
It was the first time he was seeing a sword which was made from the life stone of a level 20 manster.
“But how is this possible?”
*[What??] *
“Earlier whenever I tried to view the stats, only level and core was visible but now I could see other things too!!”
*[Well... you are now the “Creator’ Disciple”! So it is obvious] *
“What????”
He had totally forgotten about earning the recognition of the ‘Creator’ or him becoming the ‘Creator’s Disciple’ since he was passed out back then.
*[You can confirm it by checking the notification history!] *
Mira spoke out to clear his confusion and Saransh took out the history right away.
“Wow!! So it wasn’t just a dream”
Saransh was surprised by the unexpected turn of events.
“But why would the ‘Creator’ choose me as his disciple or something?”
*[You are not the only disciple!!] *
“What??”
*[Creator has already chosen a large number disciple since the beginning.] *
“Wow… That makes more sense!”
*[Yaya] *
*[Why don’t you check your new skills?] *
“What Skills?”
Saransh took out the skill set immediately.
Skills:
(Weapon dependent skills)
Rapid Fire (Lv6) Snipe (Lv7) Astro Sound (Lv7)
(Passive skills)
Vital Point Insight (Lv6) Regeneration(Lv3)
(Creator’s skills)
Creator’s Skill Mastery(Lv1) Creator’s Space(Lv1) Creator’s Gateway(Lv1)
Saransh could see a new set of skills in front of him.
“Creator’s Skills?”
*[Yupp! You don’t have to learn those skills or something. It gets unlocked after someone becomes the “Creator’s Disciple”. It is stored in my memory after all] *
“Amazing!!”
*[You can store stuff in the Creator’s Space whenever you feel like it. But it has a limit to it, since it is only level 1] *
“That’s so amazing!!”
Saransh was going through an unanticipated transformation. He was now able to do things which even a high level Huntsman could never dream of doing.
He tried the skill right away.
“Creator’s Space!”
*[You have consumed plasma points in creating the “Creator’s Space”] *
The sword which he had in his right hand disappeared almost instantly. Next he tried it with the gun but it ended up in failure.
‘Only one object for now! But still it is so useful!’
“How do I get it back?”
*[Just think about the weapon and say Creator’s Space] *
“Ok…! Creator’s Space”
He shouted after thinking about the sword.
The Sword came back to his hands from nowhere as if someone turned on its visibility. As soon as it was held by Saransh a familiar notification popped up.
*[To start synchronizing, use the Skill “Synchronize”] *
Saransh ignored the message and swiped it away as he always does.
“No way that’s possible!!”
Saransh was convinced that ‘Gun’ was the only weapon for him.
“Since everything is over, lets head back!”
He took another step and that was all he could do before he started losing balance.
‘What the hell?’
He almost felt like his head was spinning and fell to the ground soon enough.
*[You have exhausted your plasma points. You don’t have enough plasma to sustain the superhuman abilities] *
Unlike mansters, humans would collapse if they continuously use their abilities once they have exhausted their plasma. In the beginning, only a handful of humans were capable of absorbing the plasma energy emitted by the mansters. But as the time went on, more and more people were able to use the plasma, but even then humans never inherently possessed this energy.
Saransh was finally at his limit, the exhaustion he had from fighting the mansters was not visible because of his superhuman abilities. But as soon as his plasma energy hit rock bottom, he felt result of the intense fatigue he had.
*[ Regeneration is active] *
‘What??’
Saransh heard a notification about ‘Regeneration’ but he couldn’t move a single muscle in his body to check up on the skill due to the extreme fatigue which was piled up.
‘I hear some footsteps.’
Saransh could finally hear some footsteps from the direction of the second vault.
‘I thought only mansters were there.’
‘But those definitely sounded like people’.
Saransh who was feeling lonely finally rejoiced after hearing just the footsteps of a couple of humans.

Adagio of the Enlightened
The Elders will tell you the stories and lore. Of our ancestors, their deeds, and of the foes of yore. They will praise to you the chariot, and how it flew to the stars. How it stole the sun's light and slew the night’s roar. The Shamans will tell you the tales of their wisdom. Their wars on schism, and the unlettered world of ours before. Perhaps they will sing you the songs of what our clans' ancient customs tore. Poems of how our ancestors took what the discs had offered them, the manna and the mundane, and made it more. The kings will tell you of the follies, the sins, and the anecdotes of all our ancestors' wrongs. They will curse to you their names, the Ender of Fate and the Ruined Song. How they had dug up the hearts of the discs, euchred its relics, and blasphemed its prophecies, with oracles withdrawn. But they will only tell you the legends, recount the myths, and sing the allegories washed ashore. The Elders, the Shamans, and the kings can only retell what the storytellers of their own time had voiced. What they have read in books or heard in the minstrels' songs they adore. They don't know what really happened. They were never there. They can't tell you how our ancestors slew the angels from the sky, and sent them back to where they belonged. How they poisoned our minds, and made our people slothful and feeble, with the reforms they had undergone. But I can.I can tell you how the Ender of Fate severed destiny's strings, weakened them, and weaved them to our feeble flesh and souls.I can tell you how the Ruined song razed the heavens with her blood-stained melody, and reshaped our hell into utopia, with the deaths she deplored.Because I was there. I can tell you the truth, with my virtue strong. ----> Disclaimer: This will be a slow-burn, character-driven, non-harem, slice-of-life web novel with cultivation and kingdom-building elements. Witchbone: The Goblins Winter
Themes found in these stories include friendship, found family, defying negative expectations, trying to figure out how to be a force for good in your corner of the world, doing heroic things even if you don't look or feel like a hero, and that being different isn't necessarily fatal. Summary: A spell of arctic weather. A mysterious death. The reading of a will. Strange tracks in the snow. Eleven-year-old Danny Hallow accepts his life, such as it is. His father is dead, his mother left years ago. His three Keepers are the only people aware of Danny's erratic and not-very-impressive psychic abilities. He has no friends, he's been suspended from school, and he's responsible for the life of a small brown bat that's ended up in his care. When Danny's estranged Uncle Enoch dies under mysterious circumstances, he and his Keepers are called to the town of Eddystone, New Hampshire for the reading of the man's will. Traveling four hundred miles from his dreaded hometown to attend, Danny is happy to get away, possibly inherit something interesting- and maybe find out more about his family while he's there. Arriving at the crumbling family estate of Gnomewood Home, he finds it to be hauntingly familiar, a bit creepy, oddly comforting, and possibly alive. When his uncle's will reveals that he's inherited Gnomewood and everything in it, he's determined to stay and make a happier life for himself in Eddystone, somehow. But at Gnomewood, he finds more questions than answers to his family's secrets. Disturbing old memories come to him in dreams. His psychic abilities begin to grow stronger, and as a result he becomes aware that a horde of cryptic creatures are plaguing the town of Eddystone, seemingly drawn out by the spell of an unusually frigid February. Toothy little goblins that are sneaky, vicious, and hungry. Goblins that take a particular interest in Danny. Will the emergence of the alien, and potentially dangerous, power he's inherited from his peculiar family tree help Danny survive the goblin infested winter, inadvisable attempts to befriend a terrifying boy with silver eyes, and a new school? Only if he learns to control them before they put him and everyone around him in danger. Before they convince some people that he should never have been allowed to exist at all. Before he becomes just another twisted tale in his family's bizarre history, kept hidden for centuries within the ivy-covered walls of Gnomewood Home.
