Bala's POV-
I can't believe I am finally out of the village. Now there is no stopping me. I will learn everything I could. I heard there is a huge library in this school, I have to go there as soon as possible. But learning from teachers is not a bad thing too. The kids in the class look quite strong I better not lose my focus on the things.
"Go and sit wherever you find comfortable." the teacher said. There were a lot of empty seats in the class, and I wondered why.
"Come, Kiara let's go," I said while holding her hand. This was the first time for Kiara to step out of the village. She was like a cornered cat right now, if anyone even talked to her she would lash out at them. I had to hold her down or things might get messy. We started walking down the columns of students. I saw a seat in the back next to a window, it looked quite good. But suddenly a girl stood up and stopped my path.
"Excuse me," I said to her. I felt that she was not hostile towards us but Kiara became stiff. If the girl even moved a bit closer Kiara would have attacked her.
"..." the girl didn't reply. The situation was going nowhere so I thought of asking her again. But then suddenly another guy stood up.
"Hi Bala, Hi Kiara, I am Rabon and this is Miss Givi. She is a bit shy and doesn't know how to speak properly. I am her assistant so I will convey what she was trying to say." the guy named Rabon said with a genuine smile on his face. There was no hatred in his words and even Kiara became a bit relaxed just by hearing his words. His cheerful nature calmed the situation a bit.

"She wants to be friends with you guys. She wants you to sit near to her so that she can talk to you guys between the glasses. I hope you understand or I might have to use my special 'friends making technique'. So tell me your choice." Rabon said this while doing a sailor moon pose. I had to give it to this guy, he knew how to win people. I heard a light giggle from behind me. I turned around to see the constant brooding face of Kiara lit up with a smile. I also smiled widely and shook hands with Rabon. Givi didn't shake hands with us but shy people tend to do such things.
I went ahead and sat beside Givi. Kiara sat beside Rabon right behind me. The class finally started. The time went by and I really enjoyed the classes. There were some concepts that I didn't understand but I would get them in some time. It was recess time and all the children in the class were moving about the class. I saw Givi beside me sitting like a statue, with no movements. I turned around to see Kiara sleeping and Rabon looking at his phone.
"So how is it here?" Rabon asked me when he saw me looking at him. He put his phone away and sat straight.
"Ummm...this is our first time coming to school," I said a bit embarrassed. The still Givi who was still all the time also showed a curious reaction.
"Don't sweat buddy. I am also coming to school after a long time. I was poor so I lied to my mother many times and went to places to earn money." Rabon said while looking at me with a knowing smile. He eased the environment, now I was not feeling embarrassed anymore. Now that all the weirdness was gone I told him how we lived in the village till now and this was our first time coming out to the city.

"For real! That's so cool man. Don't worry I will teach you everything you need to know. Have you heard about the new game that came out? Oh..sorry I forgot you recently came here." Rabon said with excitement. I liked this guy, he was genuine.
"I wanted to go to the library if you don't mind?" I asked him.
"Yeah sure, man. We will go when the classes end. Kiara, are you coming too?" Rabon asked Kiara. She had woken up between our conversations.
"What's in the library?" she asked.
"Books and girls with glasses," he said while winking at her. I felt a chill running down my spine. He didn't know who he was talking to. I remembered when a guy tried talking to Kiara, he is still in bed. I tried to save him but it was too late. I closed my eyes.
"You like girls with glasses?" Kiara asked in return. Was this a dream? What is happening? How is she responding like this?
"No, I like all girls."
