Rabon Fooz's POV-
I reached the office twenty minutes before the time set by the head and waited in the reception. A while later a lady escorted me to a room with a package. The package contained the school uniform and a backpack. She left me alone to change into the uniform. The uniform was a rather simple one with a white shirt with black trousers. A jacket was also provided with it with an FLM logo on the back. I ditched the jacket and wore the others. I looked in the mirror to see how I was looking. I stroked my hair and looked if there were any imperfections in the clothes. When the door was suddenly opened up by the same lady from before.
"Sorry, I forgot to give you this package. I was supposed to give it to you together with the uniform but I forgot. Please don't tell anyone." she handed me the package and turned around to leave. I opened the package and there was a black overcoat, a letter and a badge in it. I opened the letter to see what was written in it.
"Rabon, this is the Present Head of the Garden, Sri Shail. I am providing you with the badge of the Garden. With this, the staff, teachers, and even the students will know that you are a person from Garden. And the overcoat is just for extra protection. It is only worn mainly by the people of our Shail family but now that you are my daughter's assistant you have the right to own one. That's it, now I wish you luck." the letter provided me with the information I needed so there was no harm in wearing the black overcoat.
After draping myself with it and my badge I picked my bag up and went outside the office. A few minutes later a luxurious car arrived in front of me. I assumed that this was the car mentioned to me and entered it. Entering the car I was greeted by a girl. She was a sweet-looking girl with long straight black hair and brown eyes. Her attractiveness was stopping me from moving my eyes away from her.

"Hello, I am Givi. Nice to meet you." she extended her hand.
"Hello Miss, I am Rabon Fooz your new and the world's most handsome assistant at your service." I greeted back with a bow of my head. She chuckled and shook my hand. I sat beside her and closed the door behind me.
"So Miss Givi, are you excited about the school?" I tried to strike a conversation with her.
"....I thought assistants were supposed to be quiet," she said while looking outside the window.
"You are watching the wrong movies I think miss," I said in a professional tone. She diverted her gaze from the window to me.
"I like your attitude. Stop calling me Miss, I can tell you are just putting on an act anyway," she said with a smirk.
"At your service," I replied still in my professional tone.
The rest of the journey to the school went quite smoothly. She put on a headphone so it was impossible for me to strike up a conversation with her. I also took my phone out and messaged my mother. We reached the school gate after some time. I got out of the car first and opened the door for Givi. She got out of the car elegantly. The other students arriving at the school looked at us with scorn on their faces. While I was looking at people Givi threw her bag at me.
"Carry my bag, Rabon," she said.
"Yes, sure," I replied while carrying her bag.
The school was just like a regular rich private school with big buildings and huge grounds but the catch was that even a poor kid could get into this school as long as he had talent. I followed Givi to the class and sat behind her seat. The school was informed about me so there was no hassle of me introducing myself and all.

The homeroom teacher walked in and everyone in the class settled down. Givi began panicking a bit. She turned and looked at the last seat beside the window. It was empty. Maybe the one sitting there was her friend. But she kept looking there until the teacher began speaking.
"Now that everyone has settled down I would like to introduce two new students to the class. I know that the academic year is ending soon but try to take care of the new guys here." the teacher said as a boy and a girl walked in.
"Introduce yourselves." the teacher asked them.
"Hi, I am Bala Midas." the boy said with a calm expression.
"I am Kiara Midas." the girl said with attitude.

Reality Grants One Chance
Some people are lucky, some aren't, some - have terrible luck. Our "hero" is of the latter kind. During young age he got into an accident, which allowed him to learn the fact that he belongs to a rare group of people.. People diagnosed with lung cancer, which he, however survived. Can't say he's lucky, as his life went downhill from that point... Our story happens years later, when his fate decides to make a loop and throw him in the same kind of accident. He gets hit by a truck. Surviving the crash, suffering just a few scratches, he is ultimately "lucky" to find himself out of the hospital in no time.. however every bit of good luck always brings him terrible luck afterwards. This time pushing him maybe a bit too far.. How far? Making him vanish without a trace and find himself in the middle of an unknown forrest. Doesn't sound bad? He can consider himself lucky? Just wait and see...It can always get worse.. always.. .... Congratulations, you've made it through the intro and into the author note! If you by any chance missed the tags and didn't read the warning, please do that now. I really recommend you to. Before you jump to reading, and unintentionally scar yourself, do mind that the story is about a dark, unforgiving world, a world in which you have more opportunities to die a horrible death, than take a piss. Hero doesn't have great luck, he has dumb persistance, he doesn't go through any trial with a breeze, he pays the price of blood, flesh and tears to live..and will be paying for every mistake.. No one outright explains anything to him, just as us for the most part - he is not sure what the hell is going on.. Some real survival tactics are used as a base of the descriptions, they are as important to the world and character as any other element.. Mind that the story starts really slow, but as the stone starts rolling downhill - the pace gets faster.. Every tag for this novel has a reason to be there, so if you don't see the particular element there, don't panic.. it's either well camoufalged, subtle or simply not encountered as of yet. Big thanks to Hobbo, Enyhrye and Hveth! ...not only pointing that the description could be better, but providing invaluable input.. and being patient enough to give fleshed out advice.
