《Angel and Wolf》Chapter 7: Old Revelations

Fifteen Years Ago
Specialist Kramer slowly turned back towards the man who had struck him. He took slow, deep breaths to control a gradually building rage. His intention to keep this interaction peaceful was quickly fading.
“Do I got yer fuckin attention, you shitbird motherfucker?” The bearded contractor said through heavy breaths, “This is a bigger issue than you could possibly understand!” he began shouting through his helmet.
Kramer nodded slowly, “I understand that if you touch me again, you will die.”
One of the other men in the room moved between the two, turning to the lead contractor. “Ease up sir,” he said quietly as he took his hand to draw Kramers attention to the fact that he was holding a matte black brass knuckle. Turning to Kramer, “This guy is 200 pound boxer, and you didn’t feel this on his hand.”
After hearing this, his temper began to fade as the situation became more clear. “So, you know what that thing was?”
Each of the contractors stood around him nodding.
“And I probably don’t have the clearance yet to be told, do I?” Kramer said slowly.
“I think you just got moved into the ‘need to know’ category my guy” the lead contractor stated.
What followed this event was a meeting, a debrief, a lecture, a stack of nondisclosure paperwork, an additional clearance background check, and a lesson on this power crystal that had been rumored to be a power source but turned out to be a thing that gave great strength and speed to the recipient. Specialist Kramer was the first successful bond with one of these crystals.
For the remainder of his career, Michael was reassigned and sent through martial arts programs, language school, and underwent various tests and activities designed to enhance his combat capabilities.

In addition, he also had to attend required schools and follow the same career track that normal soldiers followed while keeping his power a closely guarded secret. This meant that during tests with graders who had compartmentalized clearance, he could run two miles in a straight line in five minutes and act like he hadn’t run hard. With “normal” and “official” graders and tests, he had to slow it down a bit and keep his scores under 295 so that nobody suspected anything from the guy who used to pass with an average of 195 and 220 on a scale that maxed at 300. He eventually was able to retire quietly from military service as a Sergeant First Class and begin doing the things he wanted to do with his capabilities. Though his retirement paperwork reflected a man who was little more than a staff duty man who was kept in the rear, he knew the truth. And that was good enough for him.

The Hand of Sigmar. A Warhammer Fiction.
Adebar von Bolstedt was a normal young Aristocrat once. Third son of the middling von Bolstedt line of Altdorf, capital of the prestigious Empire at the heart of the Old World, but when a quarrel with his brother escalates he decides to leave his pampered home, and soon finds himself stranded in the countryside. When confronted about his presence he claims to be led by the God-King Sigmar, but with the name of the Protector of Mankind come his responsiblities. Soon Adebar finds himself tasked with ridding a town of a mad killer, and settling some lethal family quarrels.Word from the AuthorGreetings! The Hand of Sigmar plays out in the much beloved Warhammer Fantasy setting (owned, of course, by Games Workshop). Do not fret, however, as I've made it a point to make the story digestible even to the uninitiated, and maybe even be a good introduction to the setting. This work will be shorter overall, partly because its born out of a sudden passion, partly because I thought I'd try my hand at a more comfortable story than the grim darkness of the 41st Millenium (psychotic murderer and fraudulent holyman included). Depending on how this does and my time allows more adventures may be coming. While I cannot claim the places, concepts and gods etc. mentioned within as my own, the story and all characters flowed from my own fingers.

Rob is an unremarkable young man. Lonely, unmotivated and may very well be stuck in a dead-end job. Nothing to look forward to but see his days repeat like any other, and he does not appear to take interest in anything besides frequenting a cafe, drinking and smoking. There is a lack of rhythm and melody in this gent's life. That is, until his coworker, Lisa begins to accompany him for coffee. And perhaps the questionable dreams he begins to have. And Elizabeth was in it. A sad child, really. Do not expect much.

Chaos uploaded
At year 2100, there was a new game that was being developed: "Realms of chaos" With cutting edge technology, realistic physics(At least, as far as fantasy-medieval worlds goes), and immersion to the point one could believe it was real, it is destined to become world-wide famous. Two siblings, Nysa and Inas, received the right of beta-testing the game, along with other players...although with the beta-test, many difficulties came together with it: Unfair enemies, lack of clues, lack of linear paths, and above all, no set of rules of how one should play. Nysa, being the less competitive out of the two siblings, has decided to play the game just for fun.But little does she knows how much the action of a single player, who just wants to explore and have fun, can change the realm of chaos. This is my first story, and I'll upload whenever I manage to get through the writers' block.Due to college starting, uploads might be erratic. Feel free to review and comment!
