It isn't necromancy.

Let's be real, if it was, it would be less terrifying. Necromancy is unnatural, unstable, pull a pin and it all comes crashing down. Bye-bye.

What God does is far more simple, elegant, and powerful. He just plain heals.

Imagine dealing someone a deadly blow, and the next day you're facing the same person, completely whole again, the only difference being that their battle cry is a little louder and they swing a little harder.

Imagine that the only way to not lose ground is to convince your opponent that you're not totally peeing your pants.

Don't get me wrong, it's not us they're afraid of. It's the One we serve.
