《Whisked Away With My Divorcée》Song of Death (2)

Scarlet smiled, "It's been a while since I have had some excitement in life." She suddenly moved with rapid speed, bursting suddenly in front of one of the men in the side. She gripped his uniform and hurled him towards the man behind her. They collided with a Blorn tree and some leaves were jostled down. Gauris and Henry were the only ones left. Henry shouted, with an expression filled with horror, "Monster! What kind of physical strength is this! How in the world does she do this? Is she a demon or something?" Gauris had a bead of perspiration trickling down his forehead but he said, "Stay calm, Henry." Scarlet grinned and raced towards him. Henry's hands were trembling and he madly slashed his sword towards Scarlet. Unfortunately for him, Scarlet nimbly dodged all of his strikes. Scarlet's chilling laughter rang out behind him, "Are you deliberately making this easier for me? It's alright, I haven't even had fun killing you bastards yet!" She easily circled around him and kicked down on his knee. Henry fell down and dropped his sword. He clutched at his leg screaming in pain. He yelled, "Boss! Boss! I don't care if I die! Throw the orb at me! At least kill her along with me!" Scarlet glanced at the last man, Gauris. He looked pained and looked conflicted. Scarlet picked up Henry and looked right at the last man. She casually threw Henry at Gauris and said lightly, "I'll make it easier for you. Here you go." Gauris was thrown back along with Henry, dropping the orb. Scarlet bolted towards it, catching it halfway before it reached the ground. However, her hand that was trying to catch it pushed the dagger deeper inside the orb inadvertently. Cracks blossomed throughout the orb and it hummed with energy, glowing a deep shade of purple. Scarlet cursed under her breath. Glass shards from the orb were falling down from it and wisps of purple mana dissipated into the air. Scarlet slowly breathed out, "Okay, okay. That was too close for comfort. Luckily it didn't break." Scarlet focused on gently placing the orb inside of her bag. She then carefully put it down on the ground behind her. She thought to herself, "I should save it to bring it back for my father and Dunlas to study." Scarlet turned back towards Gauris and Henry and said, "Now then, tell me everything you...?" As soon as Scarlet looked back at them, bright red slashes appeared across their necks and their eyes were staring at nothingness in horror. Scarlet heightened her senses with magic from her earring, rapidly draining it to try to sense the attacker. Strangely, she did not feel any presence and she repeatedly looked all around her for the assailant. She heard the sound of glass shattering before her vision was filled with a deep purple glow and she heard the faint roar of a dragon before blacking out.

8 186The Paradox Prophecy
Thousands of years ago, an alliance between the races of Idoras and the mighty dragons, saved the world from destruction. After many years of relative peace, a dark evil emerges. Aalya, a young girl from the small kingdom of Avani, meets the young Prince Alexandar. When chaos reigns on their peaceful home, Aalya and her friends gear up for an adventure that could very well determine the fate of all life in Idoras. I haven't completely fleshed out the prophecy yet but I wanted to include it because it is an important part of the story. I have decided it would be better to spend some time figuring out the world I am creating and work out all the kinks in the story. I have done a lot of editing in the first seven chapters already. For now, updating will be scarce. I will post all of part one once I am happy with what I have written. I will leave what I have up, but please let me know what you think. I do not own the image I used for the cover.
8 83Travels along the Astral Road
The words in these scrolls depict the path of Bai Qi, the greatest scholar of his time after he was forced to leave his life, achievements, and even body behind to save himself. Assuming the persona of Wu Guang, he will have to start his cultivation from zero on the weakest area of the lowest plane possible. How, when, and at what cost he will reach his previous strength? Will he surpass it? Or fall along the way? A mix of XianXia and XuanHuan with slight touches of western fantasy. The first book will center more on explaining qi, cultivation, and other elements of the genres - so if you are searching for some constant battle action, the start may be a bit slow. The second one will go on a probably OP trope, with the MC being simply too good for his environment.Plans are to write at least seven-eight "books" (About 120 chapters per book). Currently, the chapters being uploaded are part of the 5th book. The current schedule is at least one chapter every "Wednesday" (could be a day earlier or later, sorry, my times are strange atm), plus up to two chapters each week if I am able to. [Participant in the Royal Road Writathon Challenge], always. Completed Challenge, x2Waiting for the next one!

8 99STAY DOWN |2020|
A/N: I was like 19 when I wrote this book. It's not my best work. 😭 Genesis Carter and Jeremiah "East" Wright thought that they had life all figured out until they met each other. Their romance was slow but sure, bringing a world of chaos along with it. Will they defy the odds and hold each other down? Or will unfortunate circumstances break them apart?
