《The Scratchers Among Us》Chapter 6 - “IT’S COMING TO GET US!!!”

“C’mon guys! We’re going to beat this guy so hard he’ll wish he never had revenge against anything or anybody” Lilly narrowed her eyes as she said what she hoped would motivate everyone to want to win. “Um… HOW ARE WE GOING TO DO THAT?! HE IS THE IMPOSTER! WE ARE CREWMATES! Anyone who knows anything about Among Us knows that the only way to win is to either finish all your tasks or vote out the imposter. And if we weren’t even the people who set up the settings for the amount and hardness of the tasks then we know for sure that Kaj did and what are the chances Kaj would make it easy on us?” Skelly didn’t literally scream as he said this but the tone of his voice indicated that he meant it. If Lilly and Skelly were in a cartoon then there would be smoke coming out of Skelly’s ears. “Woah, woah, woah! Calm down Skelly… I’m sorry!” “You can’t just take this like it’s a normal game! Lives could be at stake here!” Skelly then stomped off heading towards the security room using the “go through the hall that has med. near it” way.” Sterlon ran after Skelly calling after him to wait up. Then Potato betrayed Lilly and followed after Skelly and Sterlon. As he walked towards the group Potato turned his head around following Lilly’s gaze toward Alyelle. Skelly beckoned Alyelle to follow them but Alyelle stuck with Lilly. After Alyelle’s refusal Skelly and his group kept walking forward away from Lilly and Alyelle. “Thanks Alyelle, I really appreciate it.” A black figure was heading rapidly towards them from the med. Lilly and Alyelle ran as fast as possible towards the security room. This had taken a while because unlike in real life, Lilly and Alyelle didn’t have much endurance and weren't able to walk fast. “No! Kaj must’ve made walking slow for us in the settings!” After about 5 minutes they reached the security room’s hall and when they were about to enter Alyelle bumped into someone and screamed.

The Fall of The Gods
Synopsis: In the year 1966, an army of Orishas led by Sango stormed Amadioha’s palace and razed it the ground, starting a decades-long war between two of Nigeria’s most powerful divine orders. Blinded by the rage of battle, the gods did not detect the rise of a third power, far greater and deadlier than anything they could have imagined. When gods, on both the Yoruba and Igbo sides, begin falling mysteriously to their death, Sango seeks the help of Odion, a Lagos teenager destined to rise from his dark past to become a hero. But can a human hero save the gods from a doomed fate? The Fall of the Gods is an action-packed YA fantasy based on the mythical bond that ties human life with the realm of the divine. It demonstrates the power of stories to change our lives. It also reminds us that Sango and Amadioha are not relics of the past and that, sometimes, what it means to be a hero in today’s world is knowing how to find inspiration in the stories of the gods. PLEASE NOTE: Weekly chapters will be released every friday along with interludes once in a while about Nigerian mythology. I'm a young 17 year old writer and I am new to the site so I will appreciate your comments and reviews. Thank you very much.
