《Dreamworld: The First Age》Chapter 6: Destruction

The battle below was still raging, the entity god and the dragons were still locked in combat. Celenara fought side-by-side with her brother Odraxon, but their enemy would not submit.
“Dammit! Just die already!” Odraxon roared. The entity god raised its arms, blocking each oncoming blow. A swarm of Drakurai charged through the portal their king came through, wielding flaming tridents.
“Drakura! Drakura! Drakura!” they all chanted the name of their leader in sync as they charged the angels.
“We need to retreat!” Celenara shouted to everyone on the field.
“There’s no way in hell I’m letting this guy get away, again!”
Drakura stopped blocking his blows and raised his hands, catching Odraxon’s fist. He squeezed his hands, crushing Odraxon’s fist. Before he could move, Drakura sprinted at him with his left flaming fist raised in the air.
“No!” Celenara flew towards her brother and slammed her shoulder into him, pushing him out of the way.
In his frustration, Drakura focused his anger towards Celenara. She raised her arms to block his oncoming blow. Unexpectedly he halted his advance and jumped back into the boiling ocean.
Celenara took the chance to aid her brother, “Odraxon! Are you alright?!”
His crushed hands reshaped themselves, ready for combat once more. “I’m fine! I only needed a moment!”
“Odraxon we have to go! This monster's power is too much!”
Odraxon locked his right eye with her, shooting a glare. “Leave? No! I will not be going anywhere! If we leave, then that fiend will just kill more people!”
Celenara looked over her shoulders, seeing the battle between Drakurai and angels raging in the sky. Beneath them was Drakura quietly observing them.
“Why isn’t he attacking,” Celenara thought out loud.
Odraxon placed his left hand on her stomach and pushed her away, “Hey,” he shouted towards Drakura, “Get over here and fight!”
Drakura crossed his arms and stared in silence.
“You think this is some kind of game, eh?" Odraxon stood up and flew back into the air, conjuring his mace, ready for another battle.

“No, actually,” Drakura responded. “I’m observing you, seeing how well your sister's magic can heal. And I wanted to wait for you to be ready to fight again.”
“What,” Odraxon said in a confused manner.
“Unlike the rest of my kin, who want nothing more than to destroy and spite their foes, I prefer honorary combat against a foe equal to my strength.”
“Honor,” Odraxon questioned. “You go around destroying planets! Killing billions of people who have done nothing to your accursed faction!”
Drakura lowered his head. “I have no choice in the matter. If I were to defy my orders, I would be punished harshly.”
“I don’t give a damn about your excuses! You’re a cold-blooded killer! Just like the rest of your species!” Odraxon looked over his shoulder at his sister flying behind him. “Go help the angels above us. This guy is mine!”
Celenara shook her head. “No! We’re going to leave! I made a mistake keeping us down here!”
Odraxon’s grip tightened on the shaft of his mace out of anger. “Fine! Then you get out of here!”
He prepared to charge Drakura, but Celenara quickly grabbed his tail. In a fit of rage, he turned around and grabbed Celenara by the arm, and threw her into the sky.
“Just you and me!” Odraxon charged at Drakura, his heart was filled with hate, thinking about nothing more than crushing his core.
“You abandoned your healer. That was a mistake.” Drakura charged at him with fury, his flame gave him the appearance of a crashing sun.
Odraxon raised his mace and swung it to the left-side of Drakura’s ribs, he slid under the mace, punching upwards towards his foe’s stomach. Odraxon let go of his mace and lowered his hands, catching Drakura’s arms. He pulled him in and smashed his skull onto the kings.
The rain turned into a storm, and red cracks began to form in the sky. Red lightning boomed in the skies as the battle waged. The ground beneath them was opening, and fire burst out of the wounds of the earth.

Drakura was hardly fazed by the injury of his skull, he grabbed onto Odraxon’s arms and slammed him onto his back. Now on top of him, Drakura spat flame from his mouth and eye-sockets, coating Odraxon in fire.
“That the best you got,” Odraxon shouted. He rolled over, slamming him onto his back.
In a panic, Drakura opened a portal beneath him, and fell into it. Odraxon let go of his arms and flew into the sky. Suddenly, a red portal opened above him, he glanced up and saw a meteor coming down. Odraxon flew out of the way, Drakura collided with the earth, causing the ground to explode.
“Don’t you run from me,” he roared at Odraxon. Drakura jumped out of the opened earth and blazed towards him.
Celenara abruptly appeared in front of her brother and wrapped her arms around him, flying out of the way of Drakura. She snapped her fingers, and opened a portal in front of them, flying through it.
“What,” Drakura roared with anger and confusion. His charge halted, staring at the area Odraxon was standing. He clenched his fists in anger. “We weren’t done, dragon! No… calm down.” He looked up at the sky, seeing the angels and remaining dragons flee the battle. “Hmm… he will grow in strength and become an even bigger challenge.”
Drakura’s frustration turned to excitement he was eager to meet his nemesis again. The Drakurai flew towards their king, awaiting orders. He floated into the air, and looked down at the broken earth. He curled up his arms and legs, spinning in the air, and turned into a meteor. His body launched towards the earth and slammed into the ground, blowing up the planet.
He floated back to his men and pointed into the depths of space, “Onward!”, Drakura stayed behind his men following them into the depths of space.
Celenara crashed into the grass in heaven, only being halted by her brother's grip on the ground, stopping her from colliding into the houses. Odraxon pushed her off his body and both changed into their human forms. He stood up shooting a glare at his sibling.
“Why!? Why did you evacuate me!? I had him!”
Celenara stood up and pointed at him. “He was going to kill you!”
“Like hell he was! I was even with him! Now he’s on the loose again with the rest of his species!”
“ Even if you did kill him, people would still be dying! Don’t throw your life away for one entity god! You’re the king of the damn dragons! If you die who’s going to replace you?!”
Odraxon grabs Celenara by the throat and pulls her towards him. “He is smarter than the rest! He could prove a bigger threat to the wall than the rest of his species! For all we know - he could’ve been a general in the black empire! And I could have killed him!”
“Woah, Woah! Break it up,” Guidance’s voice shouted from above.
Odraxon releases his grasp and turns his back towards her. “I will not stop hunting this bastard down! Leave me be!” Black wings grow out of his back, he flies above the kingdom of heaven into the golden clouds.
Guidance turns his head towards Celenara, “Are you alright?”
“I’m fine. I just wish he would listen to me.”
Guidance places his hands behind his back and looks at her neck. “I wish your brother wasn’t so harsh.”
Celenara places her hand on her neck. “His heart is in the right place, but I fear that this war will take him.”
“Oh, don’t think that way. As long as you and Katie are here I’m sure he will stay sane.”
Celenara looks into Guidance’s eyes. “I truly hope you’re right.”
