Hello mikoschele here,

I like to ask about the issue that is lately accuring.

Im trying to create a Project based on community decisions.

And since lately i noticed my book losing traction badly.

Before i got 1 person per day at the start of the Project, but since 5 or 6 months ago it was empty.

I want to create a community based book series where the community has influence on the book itself.

For that i even created a Website and more to help the community take more part in it.

But I wanted to puplish all of this on RoyalRoad, because i love this site and the community and would rly like to help this site gain traction and stuff.

So i thought about it and decided that a colobaration with you guys would be awesome.

As i could create a basis on which later projects could work too.

It would help me create a Project, by simple working with the people i puplish it on.

It could gain traction and also the princible of helping would be extremly nice.

I would like to say more, but its getting long already.

Hello mikoschele,

We accept Reader interactive novels, and we even have a tag for it.

Reader Interactive uses reader inputs (usually polls) to define the progression of the novel. They can also be “choose your own adventure” stories, told in second-person narrative.

Which works for your described novel.

The project seems interesting, you can put up your request for other authors on the forum.

Otherwise, I am not really sure what you are asking of us.

thx for replaying.

Coming straight to the point.

I wanted to start a collaboration with RoyalRoad and the project I’m working on and see if there is anything that my project provides which is against your policy or legal agreements.

Secondly, I want to ask about the bug or the feature, of new people not showing up or getting recommended to my community based book. As my book has stopped growing for 4 months, at the beginning I gained 1 person per week or day, but for 4 months the growth has completely stopped.

I don’t know exactly know what I can do to fix this, maybe it’s something from my side I did wrong. I don’t quite now, but I was interested if there is anything which can be done from my side or yours? (a tag or something which stops the decline of new members.)

Thirdly, the question is if I could gain access to a direct contact to some of you so I can manage events and stuff with you guys or further ask, if any problems arise while the project is happening.

Fourthly the collaboration is based around the Project Arechnocadia and its usages on this site in the future, as to an early collaboration is to avoid any future Problems that could arise.

And finally, the collaboration is also there to secure and establish the business side of Arechnocadia and the security around the Projects and its community.

One way to get new readers is to publish new chapters so that your fiction may appear on the latest update list. I see that you are not updating your story. The other option is to promote the story. Are you promoting it in any way? if not, the fact that you are not finding new readers is expected.

At the moment, I do not see the value in making your contest official for Royal Road. So while you can run it normally, as it is not against our policies (assuming you don't use it to spam another site), we won't interfere yet to make it official on our end.

I’m sorry for the long talk. I love to over prepare for every detail, so checking if the site I want to publish the project on is okay with it. Is one of the most important Point.

I have not started to promote it, because I don’t quite now how to promote something like this and I don’t consider it to be time for it.

Arechnocadia is my passion Project and I worked on it for 2 years. I’m right now securing every end so nothing possible can go wrong.

That’s why I’m contacting you, so that nothing can go wrong. Like the off chance that It will blow up. It’s unlikely as I have not promoted my Project, but I don’t want the project to go to ruin by a too early blow off.

That’s why I’m preparing, for the off chance of something happening. So, If something happens. Having an easy access to one of the site managers would help the project in the future immensely.

I’m not asking to Promote or make it official. For me it would by just quite helpful to have someone to contact too if something goes wrong or happens.

The collaboration part I talked about before, is a way for me to know if you guys are further interested in the Project.

The first step in a collaboration for me is to have easy contact. I don’t expect it to be a real collab as Arechnocadia has not shown itself in the market or shown the value. I just want to plan in an accessible way, for the Future.

P.S. The Book Problem I talked before. I checked up on it and found it to be a problem from my side sorry for inputting it. As I’m not promoting myself, I should expect it not to grow an audience. Just growing one at the start and then stopping in the middle made me quite confused.
