《Marketing Penny》Big Foot is Real

GOOOOOOOOOOOOD Morning world. I haven't got anything new to report today. There was a rustle last night, but there's a rustle every night. I don't know what to do, we have been here for three days now, and the supposed living area of the bigfoot is nothing but a pile of rocks. I would have guessed this, but I do feel regret. Came all this way, brought out Dan and Tim, so I do regret it. Even though Dan has been sleeping on the job, in the cosy nook he created for himself as he watches out for movement. I don't get it. I'm cold down here, so hard. or up. That's right; I'm up on the tree. We have this place set up for an assassins ambush. The bigfoot should be scared.
I came to know bigfoot from my mother; she was attacked by one. She ran away, and when she came back, bigfoot had stolen a pear. She said that monster was 9 feet tall, and as for his feet, well, as long as my moms' legs. Scary. They told us to never go into the woods at night or eat a pear or two. I can't understand it. If I were to ask you, what would you say? Bigfoot is natural; bigfoot is fake Well, okay people, still believe the sharks swim underwater; they like glid, don't they.
We, of course, have been prepared for this night for many moons. I have tons of wrapped up meats and snacks to hold our stomachs in place. If we were soldiers on the front line, down in the trenches, and stayed there for a bit, I think the number of people can get it. Look, we would outsurvive people on their terms. I mean. We would last longer than any soldier and military personnel because we have eaten less than forever ago.

Coming out here was a definite mistake; there's nothing fun around these parts, woods along woods on woods. Thy nature, I demand thee have more colour. Or pa- what if the house, what if bigfoot could become invisible. That makes no sense, I am sure but, why not. He is a magical creature, and most of all, people have treated him as an animal rather than supernatural. We need more power here.
Soo magical people are crazy. How can they charge so much for this stuff? Their shop looked cool, though. they definitely, are a stand-in for the magical world relevance store. Now that I think about it, they are going all my pizazz. Doesn't that mean we just got scammed? I mean, we have an excellent hammer, plus who couldn't go with some rope.
Here it is, the final arc, the climax to our showdown. Tim went home, but Dan came back to stay. Staying a night in our beds was a big mistake. I didn't want to go out here either, timothy me neither. BUT THAT IS NOT WHAT I DID, DID I. I can't believe it, the final showcase. Other people took our spot from before, but they didn't get it. You can have the best location you can, idiots. Nothing gets past the mystical.
Now, do I believe in all this? I think in the bigfoot; I think if he is out there, he needs our help. I think anyone would be lost in the woods, alone, being haunted by people. I mean, o would be a monster just like him if I didn't care. So do I care, yes? So do I believe, do I need to answer this?
Well, you won't believe this so that I won't tell you. It was a big deal, and the news should have covered this already. Dan is such an idiot. And the fool who followed is one too. I don't think I believe in all of this, but I couldn't help see what I saw at that moment. I couldn't help it. My legs moved. We were on his tail, catching up. Then. Lights. Camera. Action. It was a movie set, after all. They had planned this to get the locals invested. Documentation of documentation it turned to be.

I wouldn't say I like it, though. The film industry played us. "Though call deary", the guy dressed up as a detective said to me. I don't get it. I'm supposed to be the one living and the audience, the one peering through my eyes. Can you hear me? I'm a mess. We got a sighting. We didn't sign up for this or, the apparent ad that the film directors crew handed out to the locals, the place I found my information, that person must have seen the guy in the customer and sent out the invite, not a hoax for him. he is hunting bigfoot just like we were. I thought it would be more like this. I could collect a lot of riveting shots and make something coherent and exciting to follow; I couldn't. Today was a fail, guys. Let's wrap it up.

This story is going to be interesting to write. All I have is a strong character voice I connected with when I came up with the idea. Today was a long day. I got a lot down. I booked a driving lesson. Answered some emails and started NaNoWriMo with a friend. I am doing this on top. Phew. It would be cool doing this on top of everything else, like 2 NanoWrimos. Anyways I'm exhausted. I think this concept is the easiest for me to write. The character carries it, less intervention and thinking involved from me. I am excited to be taking part, though. Really excited. Good luck y'all.

The Voice of the World
Jason Elric used to be an ordinary college student living in the heart of San Francisco. He had a part time job, he played online games with friends he got along moderately well with, and he earned reasonably good grades. The worst he really had to worry about in life was turning in his coursework on time and not being late to class. Now, though? Now fighting for his life and running from a horde of giant frogs that want to make him their next meal is just another Tuesday. Thanks to a summoning ritual gone terribly right, Jason has found himself trapped in a world eerily similar to the role playing games games he used to play for fun. Unfortunately for the now ex-college student, everything happening around him is terrifyingly real and if he wants to survive, he’ll have to figure out how to exploit the system for his benefit before it’s too late. The Voice of the World is the first part of what is planned to be a multi-book, Isekai LitRPG story with crafting elements, set in the fantasy world known as Verdania. This is my first time posting online for public consumption, so bear with me as I work to find a style that people like. While I may occasionally write scenes that may deal with heavy concepts, expect this story to be primarily light hearted high fantasy. There will be a lot of common fantasy tropes involved, as this story got its start as a simple practice exercise, rather than any plan to actually post it. However, it’s grown on me, so I felt it’s worth sharing after all. Thus, if you’re looking for more serious/original/unusual stories, you might want to look elsewhere. For the rest of you, feel free to leave suggestions, as well as to point out grammar and spelling mistakes; I’ll do my best to make edits to correct them. I do my own editing currently, and it’s easy to miss things when you know what’s supposed to be there, so such call outs are highly encouraged. Content TLDR: No harems, probably no romance (unless it makes sense for the story later on) (it did, eventually), definitely no sex (keeping this PG-13 or close to it), limited profanity. Does/Will contain mixes of magic and technology (think Warhammer, Final Fantasy); copious amounts of blue tables; race, gender, and sexual equality concepts; crafting sequences; and (slightly, but not overbearingly) strong protagonists. If you don’t like these things, go elsewhere instead of downvoting people for content instead of writing quality. Update Time currently varies, due to personal injury, but the goal is 1/week on Wednesdays, with a possible smaller chapter on weekends if time/health permits.

The Ingress Estate
Jonathon Eucole. Soldier. Scholar. Now an Initiate, the dedication without dedication, he finds himself both prisoner and master of an arcane edifice, the Ingress Estate, which can neither be escaped, nor controlled; only diverted, maintained, and pacified. This is a gothic fantasy story, set in a world in which gods and the afterlife are not only real and known, but were both established in living memory of some of the inhabitants after millennia of arcane warfare with the being who constructed the mundane reality the humans occupy. But this isn't the story of those who colonized the afterlife at the cost of their own humanity, but a somewhat more ordinary man, in somewhat extraordinary circumstances. This is also a LitRPG-lite, which means there's a system of sorts, fragments of which can be observed through Jonathon's eyes. Don't expect level-up screens, or statistics, or indeed numbers much at all, beyond those the inhabitants of the world itself apply to understanding their own reality. It pretty much doesn't matter to the story, I mention it so those who don't want to read LitRPG at all can successfully avoid it here. I don't have any particular plan here, just some ideas inherent in the genre. This is a character concept I toyed with some years ago; an old man, bright of mind but weighed down into apathy, both by his past and his responsibilities for a terrible estate that cannot be left without stewardship. Don't expect any kind of overarching plot or story, because that's really not what this is about. Also don't expect much dialogue. Or character development. Or much of anything, really, because I've planned nothing in the way of an actual book, here. Other relevant information, if you've read this far for some reason: The MC isn't super-powerful to begin with, and probably never will be. He's a veteran with some useful skills, and the insight on how to use them, so can deal with the world's ordinary threats reasonably well, but not too much beyond that. --- Currently on hiatus, as currently the story has a rather poor ratio of effort-to-personal-payoff. I may return to this once I have a clear idea of how to get the stories where I want them. I've started a more standard LitRPG using the same system. But if you like intelligence characters who cleverly min-max their classes, it probably isn't the story for you; it's the story of a rather ordinary guy who winds up in a very similar universe.
