Katsuo wakes up with a message from Miyako.
"Can we go out today ? I wanted to talk to you..."
"Yeah, sure. Let's meet at the cafe ?"
"Yes"
He jumps from his bed and take a shower. It's 9am. After putting his cloathes and taking his medicine, he waits, and waits, and waits...
He starts to get anxyous asking himself what she could want to tell him, and what would that change. He felt pain in his chest.
Without any idea of how to kill time until 6pm, he jerks off and goes to a cash machine. He withdraws 100.000yen to pay his bills and food.
"Mom didn't give me much money for survival. She rarely ask me about how am i. I miss her old days..." - Katsuo says softly to himself.
"Thank you mother." - confirms katsuo in his head.
He goes back home and hides the money behind his bookshelf.
He sees a large bag full of money, and proceeds to put half of what he withdrew.
"Just 50.000yen... all that i have... how am i going to pay tadashi ?" - thinks katsuo, with a sad tone.
He waits until 6pm and goes to the cafe.
He sees miyako, and they sit inside.
"So... i have something to tell you..."
Katsuo immediatly feels his heart trembling, he starts to sweat.
"I-i... i think i like you..." - says Miyako as red as a beet.
Katsuo feels his heart beating stronger, he feels the rising blood preasure.
"W-w-what do you m-m-mean ? L-like a girlfriend ?"
"I don't know... i want to be with you..."
He is sweatting a lot
"I-i think i feel the same" - says Katsuo.
"Can we go out for a walk ?"
Katsuo gets up and walk to the outside. Miyako follows him.

While walking the dark town, with only the street lights and a refreshing breeze, Miyako says "So... do you like me ?"
Katsuo doesn't says a word.
"I want to try this... i think we could try and see if we are right or not..."
"Y-yeah" - says katsuo while his hands are shaking.
They keep walking for a while, without a word beeing exchanged.
Miyako holds Katsuo hand. He is paralized for a second, but returns to his normal self and keeps walking.
"Im really doing this! I will have a girlfriend for the first time!" - Katsuo tried to hide his happiness while thinking this.
"So, do you want to go somewhere more... private ?" - said Miyako with a little side smile, as if she wanted to say something else.
"W-what do you mean ?"
"Somewhere that we can get more intimate to eachother, without disturbance of third parties."
She then opens a big smile, grapple Katsuo's arm and start running.
"Come on, let's go fast!"
Katsuo is pushed by the pressure to just accept and follow her.

It was late and dark. They got to a construction site away from the central part of the city.
They got inside the building and on the ground floor Miyako threw Katsuo against one of the pillars.
"W-w-wait! W-what are you doing ?!"
"Just relax" - said Miyako with a calm tone to her voice.
She kisses Katsuo while pressing his back against the pillar. Her hand start to touch Katsuo's body.
In his mind, he doesn't know what is happening and doesn't know how to react to it. He just freezes. It was the first time he has ever kissed a girl.
He closes his eyes, he feel his body becoming more tense. He was very nervous. He felt a huge pain in his abdomen and fell on the ground while screaming.

"Ahhh!" - shouted Katsuo.
His scream echoed in the building.
He looks down, and sees his abdomen covered in blood and an excruciating pain.
He start to shake and hyper ventilate. He puts his hands in the wound, trying to stop the bleeding.
"Hey boy! What happend !?" - a security guard approched.
He starts to do first aid in the boy.
"You're going to be ok! I'll call the ambulance!"
He gets his phone, while Katsuo was screaming his lungs out.
He stops. Blood start to come out from his nose. He falls on Katsuo.
Katsuo starts to scream even louder, in shock, in pain, in fear, in desperation for his life
He sees an ice picker going through the head of the guard. He was dead in an instant.
"Ah, what a mess... you had to shout, hadn't you ?" - said Miyako in a calm tone while behind the dead body of the guard.
"If you hadn't shouted that loud, i wouldn't have to kill him. Not as if i cared for his life, don't think that, i just didn't the work of hidding two dead bodies in one night."
Katsuo freezes for a second. He tries to understand what is happening. Even without understanding, he start to scream.
"Please don't kill me! I swear i won't tell anyone! Please don't let me die here! Why did you do this to us ?!"
He started to cry and shake. He felt as if he was going out of consciousness. He was hyper ventilating and shaking a lot.
She removes her ice picker from the head of the guard. Raise it up her head. And Katsuo faints.

He never forgot this. He never will.
It is sad to think this is the world he entered just by pure luck. Bad luck.
His days were never going to be the same.
