“Imbue Item Skill has 10 levels. Let's see what it does.”
Imbue Item 1/10
Imbues items with light elemental spells.
Magnitude is +2% per level.
Charge is +10% of mana put inside per level.
Charge use is equal to (spell base * magnitude).
"Well, that's good. I wonder how much I will need to charge to level the skill to ten. I can look at it later.” 'First things first.' “Inventory.”
Seeing my inventory, I couldn't help but smile. Both sword and mana stones were there. "This is like a cheat software." I took out the weapon and focused on it then used my Imbue Weapon Skill. After I dumped all my mana, I took a look at it to see if there is something different about it. Sure enough, there was a screen.
Silver Sword
Durability 9312/12000
Attack 100 + (Strength * 2)
Enchantment: Holy Light
Enchantment Attack: 16.8 Light Damage Against Evil
Enchantment Charge: 28
'Damage is lower than I thought it would be. No matter. It will be 20% when the skill is level 10. I should be able to create great enchantments then.' While I was continuing to charge the sword, I heard a soft knock. I stood up and went to the door. When I opened it, I saw Jade. "What is it, Jade? Did something happen?"

She shook her head. "I couldn't sleep. I was hoping we could go to the dungeon if you are awake too."
I shook my head. “We shouldn't. I think Giant respawned.”
She looked surprised. “How do you know that? It shouldn't respawn for at least six more days.”
I nodded then told her about the fate of my skeleton. She thought the same as me, that the boss was indeed respawned.
She then looked at the sword on the table. “Did the sword came back to you?” I nodded. She made a low whistle. “Your skill gets better and better. So, what were you doing with it?”
I pointed her to sit at the bed. When she did, I talked. “I was imbuing the sword with my light spell. It has a bad multiplier so it only works for fourteen times if I put all my mana in it. And its magnitude is just 2%. Though luckily the skill has ten levels, so it will get much better.
She nodded. “Does the skill improves with use?” I nodded. “Then you should buy some mana potions.”
“There are mana potions?” She nodded. “I am guessing alchemists are selling them.” Another nod. “Then I will go there first thing in the morning and buy some potions. Until then though I think I will lay down. Do you think others will come to slay the boss today?”
She nodded. "They will ask how we know. Even though we can't tell the real reason, I can always say I saw it myself."
I nodded. “What will you do now?”
She ran her hands on her hair. “I will go out for a walk. Maybe slay a few wolves. I don't know.”
I looked at her seriously. “Be careful.”
She nodded and took off. Then I laid down and let the sleep take me.
I woke up to the bustle of the city and got up from the bed. After imbuing the sword with all mana I have, I made my way downstairs. I looked around to see the party but I couldn't. Thinking they are still sleeping, I got outside and headed towards Everything Alchemy.
I reached there in a few minutes and got inside. It was the same as it was the first time I came here. After the bell chimed, I stepped in, and started waiting, expecting the alchemist to show herself but she didn't. So I started waiting in front of the counter.
After a few minutes of waiting, I was bored, so I called for her towards the doorway behind the counter. “Hello. Are you there?” There wasn't any voice. Thinking there was something a miss I went behind the counter and went inside the room. There on the ground alchemist lay without motion. I quickly checked her pulse and saw she was still alive. Then I shook her gently, at first, then I did it with a little bit more strength. After doing this for a while, she opened one of her eyes.

She looked at me and said "I am unconscious. Won't you take advantage of me?" I shook my head. "At least kiss me a little forcefully." She looked pitiful. I was about to give in when I heard the doorbell.
I shook my head and helped her on her feet. Then I made my way out. It was Jade. When she saw me coming out of the room, she looked at me questioningly. I gestured her to wait, so she instead said "When I didn't saw you at the inn, I decided to come here to find you. I heard you came here about half an hour ago, why did you take so long?"
She asked anyway. I sighed. “Alchemist was sleeping behind. I was trying to wake her up.” She nodded. “Wait till she comes here and we can go after I buy the potions. She nodded again and we started waiting.
After a little while alchemist showed herself. She was looking thoughtful. She looked at me and asked. “What do you need customer?”
I sighed again. “I need mana potions.”
She nodded. “Which type do you want? Regeneration or restore?”
I shook my head. "I don't know. How much do regeneration potion improve my MP Regeneration?"
She took out a bottle from under the counter and put on it. "It improves MP Regen 20% for half an hour." I quickly calculated in my mind and concluded that it restored 1110 Mp.
“What about restore potion? And I would like to learn their price.”
She nodded and took out another potion. "This restore potion recovers 500 Mp in five seconds. Their price is the same, 2 lesser mana stone."
I looked at the restore potion and sighed. "Restore potion is too much for me. I will buy 25 Mana Regeneration potion." She nodded and started taking out potions. I took out mana stones and put them on the counter one by one while counting. When I put all fifty of them, I looked at the alchemist to see she was done already. She then took the stones and they disappeared. I shrugged and took the potions the same way. "Thanks. How a good day." She just turned back and went inside the room. I sighed and together with Jade, we got outside.
While walking, I took out one of the potions and drunk it. Its taste was gross but its use was good enough that it was worth drinking it. I quickly checked my mana to see it's still not full. After a few minutes, we were at the inn. All the while I kept my mana just under full and had a good surprise too.
Imbue Item Skill Leveled Up to 2
When we were inside, I looked around to find others and saw them on a table eating. We made our way to them. When we were closer they looked at us from their meal. I waved at them. “Hello.”
The one to answer was Elan. “I see you are getting along with Jade. Where were you?”
I sighed. “We were at the alchemist. I was buying potions.”
She looked surprised. “Why do you need it?”
I grinned. “I got a new skill. Its a mana sink. Now that we are talking about it.” I turned to Wan. “Wan. Give me one of the daggers you intend to use. I will imbue it.”
He looked at me wide-eyed for a moment. "You Tiered up." I nodded. He sighed and took out the dagger Giant dropped. "Here." I took it and sink all my mana in it. Then looked at its description.
Dagger of Decay
Durability 9999/10000
Attack: 60 + (Strength + Dexterity + Agility)
Enchantment: Decay
Lowers targets maximum health by 0.1% on every attack for a minute.
Duration will be reset on every successful attack.
Maximum 50% health reduction.
Enchantment: Holy Light
Enchantment Attack: 33.6 Light Damage Against Evil
Enchantment Charge: 28
Seeing the information, I couldn't help but whistle. I noticed Want looking at me quizzically, so I relayed the information about the dagger.
When I told about the Attack Stat of the dagger he seemed pleasantly surprised and when I told about the enchantment he has gotten so excited, he nearly fell from the chair. He quickly took the dagger from me and put it on his chest, embracing it.
After a while, he stopped and gave the dagger back to me. I continued charging while waiting for Alane.

Tales of a Grim World.
Ancient prophecies say that once every thousand years, one shall rise to bring about a new age of darkness. A harbinger of evil, a being born for the sole purpose of sowing misery and disgrace. Through them, the world shall know of war, famine, pestilence and death— the four seals that herald the end of times. Besieged by the maws of evil, humankind shall suffer in agony as they watch everything they once knew be unmade before them. To oppose such a being, the whole world has had to stand united, in the battles that came to be historically known as the Great Holy Wars. Guided by the Saintess of Irithel, brave heroes coming from the four corners of the world had to sacrifice their lives in order to fight against the Harbinger and cast away the darkness. Our story begins in the year 578, a bit over six hundred years since the end of the fifth holy war. In the kingdom of Valtia, a small nation belonging to the Union of Western Kingdoms, an urgent missive bearing the royal seal arrives at the hands of Earl William Taylor. Though it might still be almost half a millennia too early for another Harbinger to be born, dark clouds already loom over the northern continent of Gram, as many bizarre events start taking place. Follow the story of our main characters as they struggle to survive in a grim, unforgiving world. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Warning: This work is intended for mature audiences and contains adult scenes and heavy descriptions of violence and gore. A Nation of Distances (possibly a dystopian love story)
Michael lives in a toxic macho world with extreme male hierarchy. When he gets a weird rating that makes his place even more problematic he's forced to choose a fiancée at a Wife School, and he slowly discovers more about the other side of the great divide between the sexes in The Nation. If only the world would stop being so complicated... On the other side there's Megan, who's more interested in books than in marriage, and the unpredictable Eliza who seems to have a connection with Micheal already. Will they be able to cross the distance and become friends against all the rules of their own world, or will they just be crushed? Are positive relationships between men and women even possible? And is there a way to change the world or is that just a naive thought of a silly wimp? 'A Nation of Distances' is a slightly dystopian dialogue-heavy drama set in a low sci-fi future setting about the war between the sexes, disconnect and friendship. The genre will fluctuate in between more slice-of-life parts and soft sci-fi drama with possible romantic elements, with alternating lead and switching perspectives once more of the main characters are established. Content Warning: Certain concepts and scenes might be disturbing and/or triggering to some, even though the story itself won't be extremely heavy most of the time. Sexism as a double-edged sword destructive to both sexes is an important part of the story, but so is friendship.Note that all descriptions of persons and places are purely fictional and made up by the writer, and any resemblance with anything in the real world is a coincidence, since the real world is not supposed to be dystopian anyway!

A God's Champion
James was an Operator who had the misfortune to die in battle. Instead of his soul moving on to his just reward, it is intercepted, and James finds himself on a new mission. Asked to be the Champion for Ignatius, God of Embers, he finds himself in a different world, fighting impossible creatures and trying to survive. Their lives now depend on his completing the Challenge and ranking in the top 500. But the odds are stacked against him, and he was a better operator than a swordsman. Chapters released Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 12:30 Warning: After Chapter 11, the MC undergoes a significant change of class and race. This is due to a couple of factors. The first is that when the MC was created, James didn't know what he was doing, so he picked what he thought would work. The second reason is that he had access to more information to game the system a little. The premise is like when you buy a new video game and decide to play it without RTFM. After creating a great character and making it to the end of the first act, you realize that, although your character may be kewl, it is gimped and will not survive until the end of the game. Going back to the start, you create a new character with the knowledge you gained from playing the game and perhaps, peeking at the manual.
