Artix appeared outside. Everyone around looked at him. One could notice fear in their gaze. Artix didn't care. He went to receive his prize. A pill that could extend his domain by 30km. Without further ado, he went back to his room and consumed the pill. Now his domain can reach 74km. But, it was useless. He knew that this was as far as he can go. But, he would not go down without a fight.
**********
Another 2 days passed. It was time for the tournament. The tournament lasted 10 days.
Artix and his opponent, a boy, looked at each other. They were waiting for the referee's signal. Many people were watching this battle. They wanted to know what the ghost could do in direct combat.
FWEET!
With the referee's whistle, the battle began. The boy immediately condensed a huge spear of mana and infused it with the fire law. He didn't want to give Artix a chance. He didn't forget to lock onto him and always keep a shield around him. Artix could only condense a small blade. The disparity between their objects was great. Artix infused his blade with the death law.
The two objects clashed. Unexpectedly, the blade managed to cut through the spear. Artix had integrated his blade with the Aging spell! The boy's expression changed. He gathered all the mana around him and infused it to his spear. He finally managed to dispel the blade. The spear continued to head towards the exhausted Artix. Artix's bracelet lit up and was teleported away.
The boy was overjoyed. But, for some reason, no one started to cheer. He looked at the audience, only to see that they were stunned. Some girls were averting their gaze blushing while others were occasionally taking peeks. The boys couldn't help but laugh out loud.

The boy was confused. He looked at himself, only to find that, at some point, he was only wearing his shorts!
A silent rule was established, 'Never provoke the ghost!'
Later, Artix received a warning that he is not allowed to use this spell again.

The results came out on the 15th of January. Artix used his card to connect to the school's database.
1- Ronald Raldy, class 1.
2-.....
.....
9834- Artix Fergusson, class 99.
9835-.....
Artix looked at the screen blankly. He couldn't believe it. He actually managed to join the elites! From the initial hope of becoming a Law Master, to losing his hope after being struck by reality, to finally achieving his goal. One truly cannot predict what fate had in store for them.
Artix then noticed that he received a notification. He clicked on it and found an unread message.
"""Dear student,
We are writing to inform you that you have been selected for a special class that would focus on teaching the Death Law.
This class is entirely optional and would be conducted in term time outside the usual teaching hours. You do not need to fear that you will be left behind in your studies.
In case of agreement, please reply to this message by the 31st of January.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us via this email. We are looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Best regards,
LM. John Reynolds
Department of Law Masters"""
When he finished reading, Artix immediately sent a message expressing his agreement. Now Artix had free time till April. He wondered what to do. In the end, he could only focus on studying death while occasionally hanging out with his friends. His friends would tease him, 'look, it's the ghost!', 'Aaaahhh! Run for your lifes!', 'Oh no! please don't strip me!' To these, Artix could only smile helplessly.

"I didn't know that you were so powerful," said George, a five-eyed boy.
"Right, when you told us that you were studying death, I didn't expect your attainment to be so high!" Said Lucian, a double-tailed boy.
Everyone nodded.
"I told you many times, it's not attainment, it's acceptance," said Artix.
"Well, anyway, these things are too complicated for us peasants," said Zack, a boy with spikes coming out from his back, in humour.
"Yeah, what Law Masters when we can't reach the Law Phase Realm to begin with," said Edward.

Time passed quickly when people were enjoying themselves. In the blink of an eye, It was time for school again. Artix stood in front of his new classroom. There was a signboard on the door, '10-0099'. Artix went inside. His arrival caused a small commotion. He looked around and went to sit at an empty desk. Students were chatting until the teacher arrived. The classroom became quiet.
A veiled lady walked in. She was wearing a long, green dress. She had long, black hair and a pair of purple-coloured eyes. Although students couldn't see her face, they guessed that she was really young, less than 120 years old. Well, for high level people, maintaining their looks was a simple matter.
She went to her desk and scanned the students. Her gaze paused a bit when it landed on Artix. She then said, "Hello, my name is Samantha Tulgar, you may address me as Miss Tulgar or Miss Samantha, I will be your teacher for the next three years."
"Next I want each of you to stand up and face the class. Introduce yourself and the goal you want to achieve within these three years. We will start from the front." She then pointed at the student sitting at the right in the front row to stand up and introduce himself.
Artix was sitting in the back row, so his turn was amongst the last. He noticed many familiar faces he met during the second round. He even saw the horned girl, her name was Lisa Peters.
Finally, it was his turn. He stood up and said, "Hello, my name is Artix Fergusson. My goal is to become a Death Master." He then sat down. Some students were confused about what a Death Master was, while others had a 'as expected' look on their face. Artix noticed that Miss Samantha nodded slightly before pointing to the next person.
